I have Xvt too, I bought it with the LucasArts Archives VOl. 4. As Evaders says it's only the demo version. I actually never liked it. I acquired it after having bought XWA, so tehre was not much of interest for me there. IT pales in comparison to the skirmish missions in XWA with custom OPTs. While I dislike XvT, I do like TIE Fighter, and X-WIng and still play them. In X-Wing I'm still struggling to finish at least one battle.

I agree with Tsunami against having the K-Wing in the TC. X-Wing (not XJ, XJ appeared short before Vector Prime) A-Wing B-Wing E-Wing For the imps I like: TIE Interceptor TIE Defender Scimitar Assault Bomber FOr the fourth imp fighter I'm having some doubts , to have the TIE Droid would be just like having the T/Int twice since both are fast-cheap mass productin fighters, I was considering somethign better armed or better shielded. Perhaps some non-TIE design. Missileboat would have been fine, but because of the problem iwth the REb engine it is useless early in a fight. PErhaps the I-7 HOwlrunner or the A-9 vigilance could be, or perhaps the Preybird, though Imps fly them onlyduring the the HAnd fo Thrawn era, Thrawn insisted on using every resource available, so if he had had preybird he would have used them.

Actually Tarkin appropriated the concept for a "expeditionary battle planetoid" froma young Engineer Raith SIenar (Sienar Republic Systems future Sienar Fleet systems) after the ZOnama Sekot crisis and presented it to Palpy. AOTC shows that a more fulfilled plan was provided to Count Dooku and the COnfederacy. After Palpy became emperor, TArkin having been since the beginning of the project would have requested Paply to allow him to oversee the development of the project. I got this out of the NEW Essential guide to chars, i havent read rogue planet so i don't know any further details on that...

It was early in the morning, the ship's morning that is, when he began to walk down the corridors and levels until he reached the office of his commanding officer. Iulan S'Tor had checked with a bridge officer where Commodore Fel was, the officer had pointed him to the commodore's office, and had warned that the commodore was meeting with Colonel Elvis. That spared his the trouble of locating Colonel Elvis. He knocked at the door that opened in front of him. Iulan saluted both officers. "I have a target." Iulan reported and handed over a datacard. COlonel Elvis took the datacard and put in the datapad he was sharing with Fel. "It is the Satirnaynian System, if we want to attack or at least pound the Imps at Yaga Minor we have to create distractions. The Satirnaynian system is a sector capital with enough resources to fend off a small attack. If we gather a competent strike force, we could overwhelm the defenders, and make Yaga minor send some forces, similar attacks to the Muunilist and Morishim systems will likely reduce to amount of defenders in Yaga Minor." "Interesting, we were considering something similar, but we had not considered Satirnaynian." Fel said analyzing starmaps and hyprelanes. "Sir," Iulan began to speak again. Any chance for an Interdictor and a Mod Strike Cruiser? There are some nice XWA models on the web, if it can be converted it would be really nice. what is a dominator cruiser and the eidolon class? I've never heard of them.

In the Strategy.dll I successfully changed some bmp to make a certain planet type loook like an asteroid field. In Rebed I changed some systems to be asteroid fields, I substituted Ghorman with Alderaan, and removed the colonized check, it will s till have resources but no population, still in tactical battle there will still be a planet not an astoroid field...

Attacking Russia certainyl was one big mistake, but I guess he wanted to get rid of the commis, before attacking GB. I think he may have wanted to take control of the territory around the caspian sea and the petroleum there, as well as the tank industries in Tankograd (You wonder how that city got its name). France was already under their control, SPain was recovering from civil war and fRanco was after all allied with hitler, as well as Mussolini. Finland as Germany's ally prevented Sweden to battle in Central Europe. As for COsta RIca, it declared war to Nazi Germany, after a german submarine supposedly torpedoed a Costarican fishing ship... Rumor says that Hitler didn't notice because a fly was sitting on Costa Rica in his map...(Yes, we are that small ).

I go to the German school in Costa Rica. It's kind of an odd mixture between the German system (Abitur here it is after the 12th unlike germany where you have to finish the 13th:wink: ) and the local costarican system. Sadly we don't get free if temperature rises or falls above/below a certain temperature. (damn tropical weather). Nothing interesting happens that could theoretically, make us go home instead of having classes. Most recent, was the sept 11 01, (yeah, very recent) when some mothers of the younger kids came in screaming that there was a bomb (the school sits right next to the U.S. Embassy) It was kind of fun, to see the mothers screaming in total chaos, running thorugh the halls looking for their children.

He had been sortign targets int he holographic maps and after three hours of checking intel and other data he reduced his list from a dozen possibilities to three. The choice for the first dozen had been easy, tehre were not that many planets near the BRaxant Sector that the Imperials would care for. Now his list included the Satirnaynian system, the Muunilist system, and Morishim. Of these three he discarded Morishim first, one of the factors that he had to take in consedaration was the effect on the populace, Morishim had an apathy towards any galactic government, as long as tehy could profit economically they did not care who was in charge. Muunilist of moneylend was the economic capital of the Imps in this sector of space. Too much money not that much population. That left only the sector capital in the Satirnaynian system. That would have a greater efefct on the populace and would convince Yaga Minor to send more reinforcements. Iulan blinked trying to keep himself awake for a few seconds. He rose from his chair and walked out the door. On his way out he almost dropped his personal belonging that he had insisted on bringing form COruscant. There were things he had found out about those items, such as more information about his great-uncle, a man of whom was no record or any other information, it had taken Iulan long days in the lower levels of the capital to scrounge all possible information about him. Unitl he had finally learned that his great-uncle, which shared his same name, had been a Jedi. The Force, had been quite irregular in his family sometimes it would jump two or three generation, sometimes all siblings would have been gifted, or so he had gathered. Iulan himself ignored whtether he had the ability to use it, but he did not care much.The days of the Jedi were long gone, and the glaaxy needed warriors to face the war not mysterious healers, the dream of rebellion needed pilots and soldiers. And targets Iulan reminded himself. He was almost at the door when he felt heavy and tired he considered a quick five minute nap and then go to his commanding officers and report. While he was ordered to report until tomorrow there were things he wanted to check with them. In the next second he was asleep. --------- OOC: A bit long, too. What's in the EDATA.### files? The ENCYBMAP.DLL lists only strings that list the EDATA.### files. Dagobah isn't a leftover, when luke goes to Dagobah, if you search for Luke in the Personnel FInder, it says Dagobah. Jabba's Palace appears in the Personnel Finder, when Luke Leia and Chewie go and look for HAn(Which I guess is in Jabba's Jail)...

Iulan had to look at the back of the room and saw Colonel Elvis Migell moving to greet Commodore Fel. The Coruscantan had to admire the man who had joined the briefing, he had quite some history on him. He knew for instance that the man had been a Rogue, and now he was the leader of Shadow Squadron. The man wore his rank with pride, but not with arrongance, he was a seasoned pilot, although he wasn't that old. Shadow Squadron may not have the fame of Rogue Squadron, but it was one of the most famous squadrons in the Rim. Fel had mentioned suprises on the Rebel's side, having Colonel Elvis along was certainly a pleasant one.

And teh ubiqtorate there also makes it a gathering place for Imperial Intelligence. While our mission is to fly and shoot anythign that is imperial we must be wary of imperial intelligence agents swarming all over." "Yes, sir." Iulan replied and sat down. "As I was saying there is much mobilisation in the sectors near Braxant, and undoubtely the shipyards art Yaga minor may be producing either big bad Impstars or little vermin TIEs. We cannot expect much from our side, much of our force are tryinig to get a stronger position on the Colonies, and we cannot mobilise that many forces. Though there could be some suprises." What would happen when Luke runs into Thrawn(or whoever is in Vader's place)?. Will Thrawn confess his real heritage? Luke, I'm you uncle. Join us in the big Imperial family. In the books Luke didn't meet Thrawn. The nearest he got to him was during Karrde's rescue on the Chimeara near Wistril. If we could keep the 4/2 Reb /Imp structure intact we could make Mara a rebel Main character so we make the event look like Thrawn meeting Mara, and MAra convincing herself of joining the REbel cause. And if she gets captured Thrawn would take her to Wayland and give her to C'Baoth. I know that bringing MAra as a new Main characters, doe not wholly make sense, but I'd like her more than mon Mohtma, and she does have a growth in the Force....

There are always super-weapns star Trek doesn't have any big superweapons, like the Death STar, World DEvastator, Sun Crusher Galaxy Gun, Eye of Palpatine, nostril of Palpatine, etc... I know of Borg Cubes devastating the surface of a planet but not detroying the whole planet, and certainly the daeth star could have destroyed teh borg cube with out any problem, and the Sun Crusher could fly through the Enterprise adn destroy it. While Star trek may have better cloaking technology, I doubt they could match an ISD, the largest enterprise is almost 700m long, hardly half the size of an ISD. The enterprise may carry lots of stupid shuttles that woulb no match for the TIE taht would despite their lakc of shielding cripple the enterprise. WIth transporter technology the Enterprise could transport sensistive equipment out othat could certainly cripple an ISD a bit, but not even Star WArs shielding is that bad. Thoguh I doubt that transporters could beam through the Energy/Ray shielding of an ISD. Hyperdrive on an ISD is certianly faster than Warp drive, the falcon could go from TAtooine (Rim) to Alderaan (COre(Near COruscant?)) in eight (?) hours, and it was twice as fast as an ISD, so it would be 16h for the ISD. It woudl take almost a century for an federation ship to cross teh galaxy like taht.
