  1. Why? You can't build it; it's a unique item. Why have a card for it?
  2. Try imageshack http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/2339/christmasmaulsw4.gif
  3. If you look here, I posted this almost 3 months and 30 pages ago. Unfortunately, the old link is now down But, good things are worth repeating
  4. Thank Jahled That's why I said that about "imported snow from the UK"; it's a J special
  5. I only remember two things about the final missions: 1) fly in a tight circle and sucker in the Tie-A, then take shots as he pulls away, then back in the circle; repeat. Make sure you keep firing on the same Tie repeatedly until he's gone. Don't wait too long, take as many shots as possible. 2) When heading down "the trench" if you're too far "out" the laser towers will fry you; too far in the turrents open up and there isn't much manuevering room. Solution: just skim the boundary above the trench, dipping in and out of the trench. By the time the laser towers fire on you, you're back in the trench (shielded by the DS itself); by the time the turrets fire on you, you're outside the trench and they quit firing. Repeat rapidly until you get to the target. Good Luck! and may The Force by with you
  6. Well, I got my old Christmas avatar upgraded this year Since there isn't much snow in Texas, I had to order some special; direct from the UK; London to be specific
  7. My contribution to the cheesy-clone movies ... Battle Beyond The Stars and a
  8. Goto Downloads, under RebEd there is Model Editting; click on that. Goto the top of page 2, voila!
  9. OMG I had to look that up on IMDB; Christopher Plummer was easy to spot, but David Hasselhoff Oh my Glad I was out on the trail the day it came to town
  10. Good post Def! I forgot about those pesky rebel scumbags. Hopefully they'll get another surprise soon!
  11. Who's all on the team Tofu?
  12. Happy Thanksgiving to y'all Even if you don't live in the US (I think today is mainly a US holiday ), may you enjoy the blessings you have in your life
  13. I've been busy with deadlines (work, work, work, work, work, ...) Besides, the PTB at work are on prowl for "surfers"; somebody is abusing company bandwidth. My boss tipped me off to lay low for the next couple of weeks. So, I'll be checking in irregularly Cool Mad Grumpy is my favorite
  14. This brings a whole new meaning to "reach out and touch someone"
  15. That's great! Did you make that JH or find it?
  16. First off, these "articles" are over 2+ years old, and nothing about them since? Might want to take a good hard look at the source Secondly: The Rods From God; rip off of the Larry Bond novella "Lash Up" published in 2001 (4+ years prior to the "article") in Combat compiled by Stephen Coonts. Thirdly: Space-based weapons have been banned by treaty since 1967 (Outer Space Treaty). I seriously doubt the US is willing to violate the treaty and face world scorn just to have this as a "deterrent". So again, space-based - NOT, ground-based - more than likely, if it's being done.
  17. I re-read the story and still did NOT see anything about this being "space based". launched into space .... return to Earth.
  18. It would also become a major pain in the arse for law enforcement trying to track down criminals or recover stolen vehicles I don't think the PTB will let this "go public" without some intervention by BIG BROTHER. Maybe a black box approach that would change the car "orange with pink stripes and purple polka dots" to let everyone know that the car's driver/occupants are "wanted"
  19. I don't understand what you guys are getting on about Provided the story is true, and is the same story you and I have read (meaning the linked story hasn't been edited in the meantime), several countries have that capability now, though not as flexible. To reach any target on the planet in two hours (120 minutes); what's the big deal? An ICBM can reach its target in about half an hour (30+ minutes), and they've been around for ~50 years. Nowhere did the article say anything about creating a Golan battlestation in orbit (or anything of the like), just a hypersonic vehicle launched from a rocket. Ever hear of the ... space shuttle Been there, already done that. I think the only difference is being able to deliver a "more conventional" type of muntion than ... let's say, a nuclear warhead (*** looks over shoulder ***) Pssst! Besides, the US already has an operational hypersonic vehicle Maybe. I'm not confirming, or denying anything
  20. Sounds great, almost like somethings I've been kickin' around in the back of my mind. What are your "other" changes? I'd be interested to hear the rest
  21. Good guess, but I don't think that's it. Whenever I run the game in "windows mode" (even the original vanilla version) I get those same errors whenever the tactical space battle starts. So, I don't believe it has anything to do with your mods. It's just a compatibility error with the "window"
  22. Saved game editor too?!
  23. Congrats Krytos!! Hopefully your portfolio is all in order, and ... welcome to the club (I mean workforce )
  24. I ran into that message just the other day! Now where did I see that ... Quite amazing there; I do hope you get more characters added and more testing accomplished
