  1. I just looked at the link. That book sounds ridiculously awesome. Sort of like The Stand, but with zombies, plus the fact that it was only in the US while this is across the world...long story short, everyone should read Stephen King's The Stand.
  2. He asked, but not out loud. Simply coming here led to this eventual trail of slander.
  3. I thought Tofu had that title since he first emerged at the site...
  4. Hmmm...so a quick brain snack made the zombies feel better about death. Interesting, but I prefer it when they target the entire body and just eat skin and bone and all the gushy stuff in between.
  5. Actually, that last post about Tex being a member of the walking dead brought a question to me. In popular culture, espicially back in the day, it was common in horror stories and films for a zombie to eat brains. Why the brain? Why not just the flesh, or any other internal organs and whatnot? Once again, I also get this knowledge from The Simpsons, when in one of the Halloween episodes zombies appear in Springfield searching for brains. When they get to Homer they knock on his head, which produces a hollow thud, then continue the search for brains.
  6. "it's"? I'm a "he", so "his" would be preferred I'm not dead yet That's mighty funny. And to think that all this time I thought that you were a walking corpse, scouring the night for some human brains to fuel yourself.
  7. Done and done. Thanks for the pre-emptive BEAK.
  8. Unfortunatly, I was forced to view Tofu's face at a previous point in time. I have become accustomed to the shock and pure terror of that twisted mug, and am now desensitized (I think that's the word and its spelling).
  9. One of the best was we did was when we saw something and there was a trailer for RotS, so when Mace Windu came on, I said "hey isnt that Denzel Washington?" and this black guy next to me turns to me and says "that aint Denzel Washington! That' Samuel L. Jackson." And then the next trailer there was some other black actor (it was either Denzel Washington or Morgan Freeman) so I said "hey isn't that Samuel L Jackson?" and the guy turned to me and yelled at me again, correcting me. Then some other trailer for a horror/suspense movie came on, and at some freaky part my friend shouts out "oh shit!" and the guy next to me says "where?!". That was the best.
  10. Dude...I dont know what was scarier. Hearing the voice of Darth Tofu or seeing your ribs pop out. You are truely a mutant freak of nature. Eat a nice juicy steak!
  11. The funny part is that back in my highschool days that could have very well been me. My friend and I used to be very disruptive at the movies...so much so that eventually our girlfriends were embarressed to sit next to us, so we had to sit in different aisles far away from them.
  12. Just wanted to say that my friend managed to snag a Wii so I finally got to play it first-hand yesterday. It is quite a remarkable system, and I cannot wait to get my hands on one of my own! All I can say is that my arms still hurt today from playing 6 hours of boxing baseball tennis and golf! Edit: It is now 11:45pm, and my arms still hurt from this damn thing. Is that sad and pathetic?
  13. I agree. My only complaint was that the theatre was crowded, so I was stuck next to some random guy who had to clap about every 5 minutes. Whenever someone got stabbed or said something powerful, this guy would shout "yeah!" and proceed to clap about 5 or 6 times. I had a hard time not laughing at him, though my girlfriend couldn't control herself. It was quite amusing but annoying at the same time.
  14. Cause this country is retarded. In this wonderful country, a minor (I think its 17 or 18 in the movie industry's eyes), a minor may not purchase a ticket to see a rated R movie, and must be accompanied by someone I think 21 or older to get in. It's so dumb.
  15. So I saw the film yesterday. It was very, very good. Better than I expected. It was definietly fictionalized, but there were a lot of historical truth about Spartan lifestyle ; with the kids being taken at the age of 7 to begin training, and the women seeing that one of their main goals of life was to bear strong children and other stuff. One of the neatest quotes was when the king goes off to lead the army, and his wife says "come back with your shield or on it", which was her way of saying to either win the battle or die. The most fictionalization comes into play with the Persian army, where a few of them appear to be monsters and mutants. I highly recommend the film. It was a very, very good "epic war" film, and certainitly surpasses "Troy", "Kingdom of Heavan", and "Alexander" and others. GO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Happy B-Day Dude! Enjoy, and go easy on the Margaritas.
  17. Yeah man, at least you made it that far. It's a victory in itself. Don't feel like you didn't work hard. Even if you feel that you didn't take much time or effort in researching the information, it takes a good deal of skill to take that information and turn it into a fictionalized story that is believable. So I think that some big kudos are in order. Congrats!
  18. Can you blame them? China is a HUGE country with the largest population in the world. Who wouldn't want to trade with them to bring home the bacon? I'm sure aliens would be the same case. Though we have to ask ourselves, what can we offer a race of aliens that have mastered the art of intergalactic travel? A free and steady supply of arses for probing?
  19. An even better question is why there is pro-gay marriage and anti-gay marriage. I mean, the right to an abortion is about the life of an unborn child, so I can understand the care in that. But who gives a crud if a gay man wants to get married?! That is one spot I can't stand about Conservatives. There are bigger problems in the nation and the world people!!!
  20. Exactly. That is a disgusting abuse of power. You see, I never liked Bill Clinton for that whole scandal. Why? I didn't care that he had "relations" with a woman outside his marriage. I can care less. But what I do care about is the fact that he lied, under oath, live to the nation. He would have a little more respect from me if he had just admitted it in the first place. But back to the man of the Clinton family, Hillary. I don't like her. She scares me, and I hope she doesn't win. I rest my case.
  21. Yeah that is some beautiful scenery you got outside your door. Up here theres plenty of mountains and such, but that water looks awesome.
  22. Star Wars vs. Star Trek Star Wars vs. Star Trek II Sasquatch out for a jog The Juggernaut
  23. So my ridiculous Caribbean professor didn't show up for my 8am class AGAIN! This is the second time he did this, and it really sucks when its an 8am class. The first time he didnt email or anything. We get to class, and theres a sign on the door saying "classes cancelled". Then like 2 weeks ago everyone got an email from him stating "disregard the last email I sent that said the mid-term was cancelled. The mid-term is still on". The odd thing is that no one got this "other" email he was referring to. So apparently, he can email us with useless/pointless information, but cant email us to say that he wont make it to class. So now I have to kill 3 hours in the library until my 11:00 class.
  24. AHHHH THEY DID IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is now another month-long break in the show, so I have to wait til mid-late April to see new episodes. I can't take it!!! The last three episodes have been uber ridiculous, and this last one ends on multiple cliff hangers, and now I have to wait a month to see more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
