Ive been wary of the new Bond films. I like the classics with Connery and Moore. I saw a few with Pierce and wasn't impressed. I know this is a new guy in Casino Royale, but still...

Rob, we're talking about the US gov't; of course the price of stamps are going up! (I think they have some secret program to raise the price of stamps every year, but stagger the month it happens to keep the people from suspecting ). Dang nabbit!!! This happens all the time! Now my old stamps are defunct. I better mail out some random letters or something so I dont feel wasted.

I voted for Palpy, though I know he wont win. My second choice is the Stormies. I think they symbolize SW in a general way. They are more familiar to non-fans than anything else. On a side note, it says they are gonna cost 41 cents. Is that because its gonna be a special collectible, or are they gonna raise the stamp price AGAIN???

I didn't even know there were sequels of either movie. But thats how so many movies are these days. The first one is a hit, and then they flood the viewers with crappy, low-quality sequels.

I never trust weather people. In my opinion, weather is a natural phenomon (sp) which is extremely difficult to predict. Ive had too many plans go wrong due to the incorrect predictions of meteorologists (yet another sp).

Its a beautiful 57degreesF here, but Im stuck inside writing a 15 page paper on the sans-culotte and the effect the French Revolution had on them. And its due in two days. Three cheers for procrastination!!!

Def is on a post-ressurrecting roll today! Im currently on Book 8 of the Wheel of Time series. Only 4 more to go!!! But Ive been slacking in my reading with the heavy load of books I have to read for classes, ranging from the French Revolution to the natives of Grenada.

Yes, 300 was a fine film. And suprisingly, so was TMNT. I was pleased with it (what can I say, Im a kid at heart). And theres a hint of a sequel...
