When the gas company comes, shuts off your gas, and then places a lock on it, its kinda hard (and I believe illegal) to tamper with it. But alas, I do admit that I am not much of a handyman. I suppose I would make a sucky landlord. On a brighter note, the company came back while I was at work, and my neighbors were able to run over and let them in. So I just spent 1/2 hour doing a week+ of dirty dishes. This was the first time my apartment looked like the typical male college apartment.

I sent it to my friends and such, and noone really got it. What I was poking fun at was the fact that a PHD earns you the title of Doctor, even if you study in Math, History, Literature, etc. and not medical stuff. For example, I think most college professors in the US have PHDs, thus they are all Dr., not Mr. or Ms. or Prof. Then I just wanted to poke more fun at the lame-os who go to school and spend time and money to become cryptozoologists in college and whatnot. My next idea is to poke fun at the power-hungry Hillary Clinton (she has it coming).

Now this is no way whatsoever in competition with Tofu or anything, but after seeing the craptastic art of C&H, I realized that the art is not the most important thing...it's the comic itself. Thus, using very crappy Paint graphics, I have begun a webcomic series titled simply "The Journal of Ron Connery" (named after my website). I hope you all enjoy my premere comic. Pathfinder is about some Viking warriors who come to North America, pillage the Native Americans, and leave behind one of their children who is raised by the Native Americans. Then one day when he is grown up, the Vikings return to plunder again, and the guy fights back against them. Looks fairly neat and gory.

I enjoyed the first Hills Have Eyes, but it was one of those movies where a sequel was just a bad idea, thus I boycotted it. Now I am trying to persuade my girlfriend to see Pathfinder this weekend.

Yeah I started browsing through some C&H, and some of the stuff was a bit ridiculous. Though seeing their artwork reminds me that I probably have the artistic skill to make my own webcomic.

Haha I would LOVE to do that to him. He has it coming. But I called him today and asked him what the deal was, and he claimed that on Thurday, by the time the gas company called him, and he called me, and he called them to get my neighbors, it was 4:30 in the afternoon and they said their work day was finished. Then the company was closed Friday (for Good Friday) and the weekend. They are supposed to come today. Then I can take a shower and get rid of my bed-head that I had to hide under a hat this morning.

The Rangers got into the playoffs!!! Here is the schedule for all the 1st round games of the playoffs.

I have not had hot water since last Monday. I live in a 3-story apartment building, and the 3rd floor moved out. So on Monday the landlord called the gas company to come and turn off the gas to the 3rd floor. Well, when I woke up that morning, I found out that the gas company had shut off the gas to all 3 floors. So I called the landlord and told him, and hes like "blah blah blah they werent supposed to do that, I'll call them and get it all straightened out". But no one came Monday. So I called Tuesday, and he wouldnt answer his phone, but I left him a voicemail. On Wednesday someone finally comes, but its the oil company instead of the gas company, and they cant do anytihing. So for some reason, he called the oil company instead of the gas company, which got me even madder. So I called him again Wednesday, and complained, and hes like "Im sorry blah blah blah they'll come tomorrow". Now I was leaving that morning (Thursday) but since the gas company didnt come into my apartment (where the heater and stuff is) on Monday, I didnt think they would have to come in Thursday either. They had did the work from the outside of the building where the tanks are. So on Thursday Im at my friends back home when the landlord calls me, and says "why arent you up there, the gas company is there and they need to go into your apartment." I said "I told you I wouldnt be there and they didnt need to be inside to turn it off". Well anyways, I had given a copy of my apartment key to my enighbors, so I told the landlord to give them a call and have them let the gas company in. So that was that. I get back last night, to find I still have no hot water. The door from my apartment to the garage was opened, so I know that my neighbors let the gas company in, but for some odd reason we still have no hot water or gas for the stove. Its really getting me angry now, and Im ready to drive 4 hours to Brooklyn and punch the landlord in the nose.

I read a lot of the Dune series back when I was in high school. I also have the two Dune movies on DVD. Then I eventually got into Stephen King and was hooked ever since. Ive read all of this old works (and own most), just nothing too new (aside from the Dark Tower 7...and what an ending!!!). I would love to see a real good Sci-Fi movie of The Stand. I have the one that I think was made for TV or direct-to-own, and it wasn't too good. The Sci-Fi channel could probably make a good miniseries out of it.

Thanks for the pic Tofu. Personally, I prefer it to my current one, and will probably replace it. And yes, I say down with Hillary because she hates video games and Sasquatch.
