  1. Having the moving prison ship is a fine idea. Personally, I prefer to have a massive prison planet, with an entire fleet and fighter complement, 3 shield generators, tons of troops, and a general and commander. I usually try for Kessel, and then build some mines there too, so its like the prisoners of the Empire are being used as slaves in the spice mines. Mad fun.
  2. There is a 2-hour special on the Histoy Channel on Monday, May 28th called Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed. From what I understand, it will go into Lucas' influences for the movies from actual historical events. It seems really interesting, and I am looking forward to it. Read about it here
  3. I guess we will just have to wait and see. But I would love to see Lizard and Carnage at some point. And I still like my idea of throwing a villain in at the first 10-15 minutes of the movie, just so that that villain could be represented on film.
  4. I for one did not see the skeleton, but I wont call you a liar either SOCL. Maybe my subconcious chose to ignore it. But what I dont get is that Peter hurled one of the bombs at Harry earlier on, and he only got a burn on his face. I dont see how the same bomb could incenerate Brock. Only time will tell, I suppose.
  5. Stinky link
  6. But of all the Spidey villains, Vulture is one of the lamest. As I stated earlier, he's just an old man with feathers who can fly. Big freakin' deal. Im am sooo down with Lizard, just because they have been flaunting him since the first movie. Now, Lizard and Carnage would be nice, though not as nice as Lizard and Venom.
  7. Yeah, that avatar keeps getting sweeter. First Bart, then Homer, and now Marge popping her head out from under the helmet. Thats so great.
  8. Images from Blazing Saddles are dancing through my head
  9. That is always true. They could throw a "guest villian" who appears for like just one battle scene. Have someone like Scorpion, Rhino, or Electro rob a bank or something, and Spidey stops him and he gets arrested. Done and done. It would make for a good opening to the movies.
  10. Well, the Wii is gone. Rather than having to go on ebay, my friend had a friend who was willing to pay $310 for it, so I agreed. So I ended up losing $40 in the end, but its all good.
  11. Now wait just a cotton-pickin' minute. I saw no bodily remains of Brock. And my motto is "if there is no body, the person isn't dead." All I saw were the few strings of the symbiote chilling after the explosion. This is highly explainable, as fire (from the explosion) is the symbiotes only other great weakness, after sound. The explosion would have caused parts of the symbiote to rip off in pain. Also, Venom is Spiderman's most famous enemy. Not only did Venom receive little attention in the film, but he wasn't even "named". He never called himself Venom, Spidey never called him that, no one mentioned his name. Venom will be back in part 4. 'Nuff said.
  12. I can understand that one, Tex! But yeah, I guess the police are in reality not as useless as I had once thought.
  13. The only thing girls are good for is stealing away precious video game and internet goofing time.
  14. I have some very shocking news for all. I was talking with my mother on the phone today, finalizing plans for tomorrow (I'm moving back home for the summer and since Im in a new apartment I have to take everything home). So we were talking, and she says "oh, by the way, you got a package today. What did you order?" And Im like "I didn't order anything. Where's it from?" And shes like "California." So I made her open the package, and sure enough there is a Wii in there. That flogging bastage ignored me, made me wait a month, and then sent me a Wii. I still cant believe it. Its utterly ridiculous. I only have two thoughts: either he felt bad and wanted to change the error of his ways, or the police actually said something and he decided to send it to avoid further action. Either way, I got another Wii. I'll be putting it up on ebay tomorrow night to make back some of the money I lost. I know they aren't going for as much anymore, but its the best I can do. I cant return it to a store without a receipt due to the serial number, and I'll get more cash through ebay. I still cant believe this...
  15. That would be an awesome job. That show is so ridiculous and so great!
  16. That was lame. Real lame.
  17. Well the Lizard was a relativly early villian too. Vulture was a lame villain though. Just some old guy with feathers. But Mysterio...you're on to something there, Tex. I would love to see Mysterio. He was a truely great villian. But the way I see it is that they should make one last one with this cast, so you'll have MacGuire, Dunst, Grace, and Connors to do their roles. End the movie with Peter and MJ getting married, and then they can make a whole new series with new actors to represent Peter a few years later, where he and MJ have been married for awhile. This will also allow for all sorts of neat villains. Like I said earlier, sort of like the Batman series. Have different actors portray Spiderman to keep the series going for the fans without pissing off actors.
  18. Ah, yes. I had that game for the PS. Simply brilliant. I remember the level on Jabba's Spaceship, where you start with no weapons and had to punch that creature in the pit in order to start the level.
  19. Prof. Connor has appeared in all 3 films so far. The conversations they have imply a friendship that goes beyond teacher/student.The Lizard would be a welcome villian to a potential part 4, as would Carnage. A fourth film could revolve around SpiderMan/Parker having to stop his mentor from being an uncontrollable beast, facing off with Venom, and then teaming up with Venom to combat Carnage. That would make for a fine film. Seeing how they deviate from the comics to move the films plot along, I could see Venom crashing Peter and MJs wedding just for the hell of it. That would make for one good movie, me thinks. So those are my hopes and dreams for a Spidey4. And I wouldnt expect a Spidey5. But I do expect a 4th film, to give Venom some more screentime, and to show the marriage of Peter and MJ. This would enable the film to make a transition for new actors to replace actors who want to move on, like in the Batman films (though hopefully they wouldn't get as corny).
  20. No, she was bitching about making Spiderman 3. I guess she didnt think it would get his big. Which is why Im scared for Spidey 4 cause I dont know if MacGuire (sp) or Dunst will be in it because of the way they feel about the 3rd one. At least the actor playing Harry Potter isnt bitching about making 7 movies. Like, these actors play important parts, and then they feel like their destined for better things because they played the part of a famous character. Well, Im sorry, but ITS YOUR JOB TO PLAY PARTS!!!!! Thats whay an actor does. And now they get these huge egos because of the success of one part. Nuts to them.
  21. Since I pretty much finished cramming for finals over the weekend, today is by text book sell back day!!! I have 14 books to sell back, which should net me...about $25 Hopefully I get more than that. I spent about $400, but knowing from the past, I'll get nothing back. I hate it, and Im too lazy to sell the books online. So I guess I can say who am I to complain? But I still will. So there.
  22. You should make it a Bartman JH. That would rock! Also, glad you enjoyed the film. Though I dunno about a 4th film. Its listed on imdb for a 2009 release, but I watched a bunch of interviews with the actors as they were promoting the release of the 3rd film, and they were kinda hating on it. I think the idea was that they felt they are destined for better things than Spidey, and were getting sick of it. I think it was Kirsten Dunst that said something along the lines of "Spiderman 3? Come on now." Stupid actors.
  23. Ya, Ive watched four episodes since yesterday. Its really good, so dont you guys go spoiling anything for me.
  24. Heh. Nice work Tofu. Makes me want to continue harrassing my friend to put our videos on the computer so I can post them.
  25. I never heard of it, but it sounds pretty interesting. Edit: Just watched the first episode off of the CBS website. Its pretty good. Im sure I'll be catching the rest of the season. The premise of the show reminds me of Stephen King's "The Stand", which happens to be my favorite book by him.
