I still like my theory, that Vader was just not "master" material like Yoda and Palpy. The physical and emotional damage he suffered after facing Obi-Wan greatly diminished his once-promising Force-potential, and Im sure that Palpy did not fully train him due to fear for his own life. I also recall reading one of the novels (I cant recall which, though it might have been Shadows of the Empire) where Vader is trying to breathe without his helmet. He removes it, and attempts to concentrate and use the Force to help him breathe. However, he is unable to, because he needs to remain angry in order to use the Force, and he cannot stay angry for long. I believe he was thinking about his confrontation with Obi-Wan, and blamed him for his state, but couldn't keep the anger long enough. I know this doesn't contribute much to this thread, but I thought it was an interesting piece of info none the less.

I just got finished reading one of the chapters in Kevin Smith's book where he praises Ben Afflick, and then goes on to praise him even more for doing the Daredevil movie, which I almost hated as much as The Hulk. I like Smith and all, but I just dont like his Afflick obsession.

I finally got Pan's Labyrinth in from Netflix and watched it this morning. It's a very, very good movie. About half the movie is about a girl caught in a fairytale, and the other half is about her father fighting rebels during the Spanish civil war in the 1940s. Its a really good film. On a side note, I like where this forum has come from. I started it to rant about my dislikes of movie theatres (prices and what not), but it has turned into a general discussion about movies themselves. Its a lot cleaner than having a separate topic for each movie.

I was at the gym today and caught this on CNN. It happened about 15 minutes from my house, and I thought it was cool that CNN was reporting on it. For some reason, it's not on their website, but its still strange.

That's funny Hunter! I had bought a 2005 Ford Focus new in 2004, and a year later I had to get it repaired, as apparently the back door latch was recalled, and there were reports of it opening up on its own due to corrosion.

Its an interesting concept, and it makes sense in a way.

Oh sorry. I always forget that the same game is made for things other than the PS2. I didnt have it for the PC. I played it with my friend a few times, but that causes a split screen, which is never as fun.

I enjoyed the Death Star briefing Taco! Also, that Geico one was funny, only because my dad hates the commercials so much. Everytime they come on, he complains about how the caveman is upset because it makes fun on his boyfriend, and how the cavemen are gay.

As much as I had issues with AotC, it still had a pretty action-filled ending, and I definitley caught it several times.

I dont think I mentioned it yet, but I saw Knocked Up last weekend. It was a fairly good comedy. Nothing worth seeing this weekend, but next weekend is Fantastic 4, and I am excited.

...I think Im way over my head. This is the 4th time Ive had a price on my head...
