  1. Actually in Heroes, there is a black guy with a white girl. And early on, there is a black girl with a white man, who leaves him for another white man. It happens occasionally.
  2. That was an awesome find Mad!!! My friend purchased this book. It goes in depth on what to do in case of zombies. One of the funniest parts is a section on how to battle zombies when submerged under water.
  3. That was classic!!!
  4. I enjoyed it. A post-WWIII scenario is always an interesting concept.
  5. You may not have to Rob, fella How the heck did I miss that?! HAHAHAHA!!!!! That makes the pic all the better!
  6. Its definitely mechanical, with the two prong/poles and all...
  7. Darth_Rob

    Books

We didn't read Lord of the Flies. I knew of it, but nothing in particular. That is, until the Simpsons spoofed the story. Then I knew it all.
  8. I'd join the Empire if they invaded Earth!
  9. The next thing you know, they will develop a headset/headphone type thing that can be implanted into your brain. Now that is hands free.
  10. Now I can officially congratulate K on his 2000th post!!!
  11. I agree with the whole "Vader's suit is mechanical so it acted like a conductor" but heres my question. Is Force lightning actually electrical, or is it just a massive amount of Force energy that, when channeled, simply appears as lightning?
  12. Both were pretty fun games. Waldo took me way back. I had no idea he was still around.
  13. That looks pretty neat Mad.
  14. Heh, I doubt it. Those things are pretty small. No where near as bulky. A DS would be smashed easily.
  15. I just enjoyed the general randomness of it all. Bravo.
  16. I wouldn't be surprised. Those things were pretty heavy and bulky. I remember when I was younger my friend and I were walking outside in the snow with our Gameboys, and he dropped his in this huge snowbank, and we thought it would be done for, being in the wet snow for so long until we found it. It ended up being just fine.
  17. Palpy definitely had to watch Vader. As Palpy says in RoS, there is the Sith tradition of the student eventually overthrowing the master. Palpy was the Emperor of the Galaxy...he's not gonna want to lose that power any time soon. And Anakin had such great potential that he would probably be an eventual threat. Palpy probably saw Anakin's injury as a blessing, and used it to curb his power, thus safe guarding his own throne.
  18. Yeah, that was one of the best Treehouse of Horrors.
  19. As far as ESB goes, it was definitely the Force. I don't think he would have glove armor strong enough to deflect blaster shots. As far as the Force Lightning goes, I think that a Jedi Master could deflect or absorb it using the Force. Of course, if one is caught off guard, he may not have time to react properly. Now, it is my opinion that Vader was not a Jedi Master. The Emperor and Yoda definitely show more power over the Force in the OT than Vader ever did. Now Vader was a Knight for a long time, but I dont think the Emperor ever wanted him to gain too much power, for fear of being overthrown. Thus it was the traditional Sith Lord/Sith Master relationship, with the Emperor being the master (with Jedi Master control over the Force) and Vader was the Lord (more like a Jedi Knight, with limited control over the Force, and relied more on his lightsaber than the Force in general).
  20. I just downloaded the newest version of Firefox, and it has bestowed upon me an automatic spell check here in the forums ! No more spelling mistakes for me!!!
  21. That about sums it up. However, there is a possibility of Sylar returning, especially with the ending.
  22. I would hardly call it a "confrontation"...
  23. My two cents about the evils of Hillary. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a293/rbianc1/evilhillaryposter.jpg
  24. I snagged Mario Party 8 and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon yesterday. Mario Party is a ton of fun. Its pretty much a board game for up to 4 players, where you run around collecting coins and playing mini-games (sort of like WarioWare, but longer and a bit more in-depth). Mortal Kombat is interesting with the Wiimote. All the special moves (Sub Zeros freeze, Scorpions spear, etc) are all done by jerking the Wiimote in a particular direction. For example, with Sub Zero (my favorite Kombatant), you would move the Wiimote in the shape of a "U", going from right to left for the freeze blast, or left to right for the ice clone. The only thing that takes getting used to is that punches and kicks are delivered using the directional, so its a bit odd at first. But both games are lots of fun! Edit: OMG Mortal Kombat is uber cool!!! You have the ability to create your own fighter, and you can assign him all sorts of moves, and customize him and crud! I got this bad ass guy with an eyepatch and spiked shoulder pads (think the Shredder from TMNT). Its pretty sweet. I cant wait to kick my friends ass with my new dude.
  25. That was a great find!!!
