  1. Its all about the day and age, I think. Back when Ace Ventura and The Mask were out, Jim Carey was the best. Then his films lost their quality, and we begin to think of him less. Then Sandler was out, and made it big with the likes of Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore, but today he is not as big a draw as he once was. Nowadays, Ferrill is ridiculous, espicially in Old School, but he will fade. Another fine actor these days is Jon Heder. Ive seen all his films (Napoleon Dynamite, Bench Warmers, and others), and he is a really funny guy.
  2. Ahhh...its always refreshing to see traditional Jim Carey, back in the day when he was awesome. Its funny. For a long time, he was such a big comedy draw, then he was replaced by Adam Sandler, who had a stupid comedic run where he was the big comedy draw. Nowadays, I dunno who holds that place. Maybe Will Ferrill?
  3. Sorry to hear that. But now you can see that there was a practical reason for buying that sword. For revenge!!! Oh, and that video was real funny too
  4. Simpsons Season 10 comes out August 7th here in the states!!!

Its not his scary or creepy in the least. Basicly, a plauge hits the US, and like 99% of the population is killed by it, and there are two factions of humans who create two camps, and eventually go to war. There's a lot more to it, but I dont wanna spoil to much. But its a really great read.
  6. This one time, at band camp, we all got drunk with Sasquatch.
  7. Im sure this is not as good as the PC game, but...
  8. Oh, thats the plan. My friend gets sweet hookups at his job, and can snag wireless Gamecube controllers for $10. So I plan on going with him tomorrow and picking up 2 controllers and a memory card, and then I can start snagging cheaper Gamecube games. On a side note, wasn't there a FPS developed for the Gamecube where you played as a squad of clone troopers, or was that for the Xbox or PC. Im too lazy to look it up.
  9. In regards to Pirates, I am confused about something. I read in Rolling Stone magazine several months back that Keith Richards was cast to portray Jack Sparrow's father. Depp also stated that he developed many of Jack's mannerisms from watching Richards. However, I have not seen one hint of it after that. I'm assuming that either he has a cameo role, and little camera time, or they are just doing a damn good job of keeping the lid on it.
  10. I really should start up a new game as the Rebs and do that, just to see the AI build one, and then smash it up.
  11. Yeah, its a good watch Eagle. You'll enjoy.
  12. I'll be snagging a few games on tomorrow, and Zelda is on top of the list. Apparently, my friend put 25 hours into it, and according to another friend who beat it, he says that the spot hes at is almost halfway through.
  13. @Mad: Nice work. Those first ones look neat. @K: I couldn't get the links to work...
  14. That is awesome. The only way to make that awesome trilogy into a film would be through computer. Im happy to see such dedicated fans. I cant wait til the first one is complete!
  15. I just saw a commercial for Pirates 3, and its coming out on Thursday night here, for some 8pm shows. Might hit that up.

    Books

I totally recommend reading The Stand. It was my favorite book by him. The Dark Towers were good too, though the end of the last book was a bit...lacking if you ask me.
  17. You're right. Rouge Squadron is definitely due for a new release. I think the other ones were on Nintendo64 and Gamecube, so maybe now they will release one for the Wii.
  18. I boycotted the entire F&F series. Im not into the racing/car stunts movies.
  19. I dont know if it would be a Rebel mission. I cant see the Rebellion holding executions, much like they cant do assassination missions. And you have a good idea Evaders. Linking each character to a home world would most probably change that systems popular support in a major way. But I think that the main 4 (Luke Leia Han Mothma) would be immune from executions.
  20. I always wished there was a way to execute captured Rebel characters. Like they could have a thing where the captured Rebel character is on a system. You then send an Imperial character and the prisoner on an "execution" mission, where the Rebel player would receive a message that the prisoner would be executed in 100 days, and would reveal the location of the prisoner (as if the Empire was issuing an official decree about the execution of Rebel scum). The Imperial character and the Rebel prisoner would be stuck on the system for 100 days, and could not be moved unless rescued. The Imperial character would be like a bodyguard type character to ensure that the prisoner (who is now high-profile) remains imprisoned. If the prisoner was not rescued after 100 days, he would be eliminated and removed from the game. This could possibly increase popular support on the system.
  21. Morbious should have been in the Blade trilogy. Its a shame that the first was the best, the second was bad, and the third was terrible. Morbious belonged there.
  22. I never really played too many PC games. I only owned Rebellion, X-Wing v. TIE, and Dark Forces II. I preferred console gaming.
  23. I never played Starcraft...
  24. Oh, why did they give us the agony of a Venom conspiracy?!?!?! @JH: Yes, Morbious would be another sweet villain that could be that 15-minute opening villain. Certain guys are too good, and would be wasted doing that, like Carnage, Lizard, or Mysterio. But Rhino, Morbious, Scorpion...now they would be neat.
  25. Well, as far as high school records go, Ive attended 6 proms: my two junior and senior ones, my friend from Jersey had me go to her junior and senior one, then my one girlfriend back in the day had me go to her senior one, and then I went to my current girlfriend's one. So I think 6 is a pretty retarded record.
