I just saw an ad on TV that the channel "Spike" about something Star Wars. It was a very mysterious commercial, with just Vader breathing in the background. I ran to the internet and found this. Apparently Spike has purchased the rights to air all 6 movies, and will start doing so in April. So not as exciting as I hoped it would be.
Oh, Im sure he will. I had little to complain about the work he did on the trilogy, except for the death of Saruman (which he fixed in the extended edition of Return of the King) and the absence of Tom Bombadil in The Fellowship.
Interesting. Basically, Im writing one research paper comparing U.S.S.R. eastward expansion to U.S. westward expansion, for my Nationalism class. For my Soviet class, Im writing a paper comparing Nazi concentration camps to Soviet forced labor camps during WWII. Edit: FINALLY I WAS ABLE TO POST THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats what Im saying. Thats what we expected to see. Lucas and the EU romanticized about the Clone Wars prior to the prequels, and when they came out, we were like, "well, this is a little cool, but not what I expected..."
This is another test. Edit: Ok, for some reason, if I write more than like 2 paragraphs worth of text, this thread wont post it. I had no problem posting this other stuff. Is there a text limit per page or something? What Im writing is not as big as SOCL's last post. I dunno whats going on here..
My brother-in-law and I killed the afternoon playing Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles on the Wii. Its an arcade shooter, pretty much shooting up zombies and other oddball monsters. Lots of fun.
