The snow wasn't as bad here this year. However, it was pretty bad last Friday, where I attempted to drive home that night after work in the middle of a snowstorm. It took me a little over 3 1/2 hours to get home, versus the normal just under 2 hours. I was a tad beat after driving that.

Well, I for one was upset when Lucas rationalized the Force by using the whole midicloriant explanation. IMO, the Force was one of those things just better off left unanswered, and it should have remained a mystery, so that we could all have our own thoughts in our heads. So I was thinking of other movies that did this, and one pops right into my head. Highlander. The background for the immortals is just...horrible. Highlander 2 killed the movie, and only Adrian Paul (who played Duncan MacLeod in the TV series) was able to save the series. So yeah, the whole concept of the immortals being outcasts from an alien planet was just...horrible. And even though I love Sean Connery, he should not have come back for the second movie. That movie was atrocious. Anyone have any other movies where something mysterious was explained when it shouldn't have been?

Yeah, I only remembered seeing this lady, and I wasn't sure if she was Russian or German. Like I said, I like the idea that its still set in "older times", especially with the Cold War. Soviets will make good "bad guys", at least for the movies sake. Though I dont recall Khrushchev having a fascination with occult artifacts like Hitler did...

That pic was taken by a hunter's video trap camera on Pennsylvania. I dont think apes are native to those parts. The scientific community has claimed it is a bear suffering from mange, but the front legs look way too long and disproportionate to be a bear.

Now it could be me, of course but don't you think the rather large red banners carying swastikas were a bit of a giveaway? Honestly, I didn't catch that. I've only seen the trailer once, in the theaters, and I didn't remember seeing that. Maybe the online trailer is longer with more content.

After watching the trailer, I was trying to determine if the "bad guys" were Germans or Russians. I think I could stomach it if the baddies were Soviets.

You know, this has been making me upset for a long time. Like, when the Wii came out I snagged it because it was mad cheap, as far as console systems go. Personally, I like the Wii, and many of the games that are out for it. But at the same time, it makes me sad that there are no really GOOD games. Like, there are a lot of games Im missing out on because the Wii can't handle them. The Force Unleashed will be one of these games, because I know deep down inside that it will not be as sweet as the PS3 of 360 versions. Another shining example is that the Wii doesnt have many good FPS, and the ones they do have suck because the camera control is horrible, and all your guy does is spin in a circle while looking at the ground. My point is that the Wii does not fulfill me the way my PS2 did back in the day. I am a big time console gamer, and the Wii leaves me feeling gyped at times. I would love to get my hands on a PS3, but they are so expensive. Part of me is beginning to think that the 360 may be the way to go. Its cheaper, and I do believe it has a larger fan base. And I know I hate on the 360 for the fact that you have to pay a monthly fee to play online, but at the same time, both the Wii and PS3, while free, have very few online games. So, to wrap up my console takeover of this thread, I think I want to start saving up for a 360, just to start feeding my hunger for really good, hardcore gaming. But I have so many other things to save up for, seeing how I am finally moving away this summer after graduation, and then I'll eventually have to buy "the ring" for the misses...so many things to do, and just not enough money to do them all...

I concur with Tofu. While I will most definitely be seeing it when it comes out in May, I will of course be skeptical. Hopefully I will be proven wrong.

Now I had a big problem with that. The Kingpin wasn't supposed to be this hardcore, buffed-out super fighter. He was supposed to be this uber huge fat guy who used his extensive wealth and connections to hire others to fight for him. 'Nuff said.
