Like Rebel_Admiral_Rampallion, I'll pose a question on who you think would, or in this case, won a small battle. I've been playing my current SW:Rebellion game for a long time, on and off. Today, one of my main Shipyards was attacked, Bilbringi - it's defenders were made up of only units being prepared for a much larger fleet, and retreating isn't an option as the Empire has an Interdictor. So here's what came to play Empire: 4 ISD mk IIs, 1 Interdictor, 1 Nebulon-B, 2 Bulk Transports, 6 TIE Fighters and 12 TIE Defenders Versus: Rebellion: 2 CC-9600, 2 Victory Mk II SD, 18 Corellian Corvettes, 2 B-Wings and 23 X-Wings Ok, so the Rebs have the clear numerical victory, as well as fighter superiority by numbers - only just. The Empire, on the other hand, has the firepower. 4 ISD Mk II's, where a joint effort by them destroys or seriously damages a Corvette. So, who was the victor in this little escapade?

Karn eyed the new comer and greeted him with a nod. A jolt of suspicion flooded Karn's mind, that or it was sea of alcohol that he'd ingested over the past few hours. Shacking his head, Karn got his mind back on track; thanking the force that he was a Corellian and could hold enough liquer to knock out a Wookie. "That's what I was thinking. If the Empire is doing the right thing, why should they be booted away? Though, the Empire being the Empire might be subduing anyone trying to complain. "Yet, if the New Republic assumes this and attacks the world to liberate it, it makes them as bad as the Empire." Karn took another long sip of his whiskey before putting the glass back down. "Though, the other side of the argument is that the New Republic and Empire are at war. So what happens when the New Republic, for example, attacks an Imperial controlled world and takes it over. Now if the people of the planet still strongly favour the Empire, does the New Republic still have the right to hold and control the planet?" Karn's questions were beginning to sound as if they were from a stranger rather than his own mouth. Perhaps he'd had enough to drink, for this hour . . .

In my latest game I've been trying to build two gencore IIs on most worlds, well at least the core worlds. Earlier in the game I was also building LNRs on planets, those that were left after sabatage missions and by the time LNR IIs were available were upgraded. Still, they've proven useless so far - if the planet has one and shields the AI wont bombard it I think I'll stick to just GenCore's

Rantar arced an eye brow as Josson stormed off. Rantar made a mental note to ask Afton about the two later, more pressing maters were at hand. "Well, the only real training people have here is at best being memmbers of the security. Some have knowledge or unofficial training in militia areas, thoguh it's no where near what we're gonig to need to win this. "I've given them all some training, though there are too many of them and too few of me to do it efficiently. I would like it I didn't have to initiate them with a trial by fire." Rantar watched as Afton took in the information. "We don't have the facilities to train our personal, which numbers in at just over 130 able bodies. So, I was thinking that the most capable people are given some extra training and then take out squads for "field" exersises. What are your thoguhts?"

Karn eyed the new figure that walked across the cantina floor to the bar. After years of experience in the galaxy, Karn knew better than to let his gaurd down in a cantina. Still watching the figure at the bar, Karn changed the topic of conversation. "Speaking of the New Republic - what do you think their policy should be about re-taking planets that are controlled by the Empire still? Srue the Empire is cruel in general, thoguh not too all. And do we, as the New Republic, have the right to liberate them? Even if they don't want it just in order to get rid of the Empire?"

Thanks, hopefully I'll finish the texturing soon and I'll be able to try it in the game. Hehe, have fun with it. Maybe we'll see some new models from you soon?

Mutecry 3 - Mutecry

Weird! Then again, some games I've played before have a simular effect on me. Both Morrowind and *sniff* Dark Forces would make me feel sick after playing them for a while. I'd die if that were the case with HL2!

Well, I would say that the Bulwark with its fighter escort would overwhelm the Strike cruisers and it's fighters. Though, why would you pose the question then? My money's on the pair of Strike Cruisers

Nice, my usual way of taking on Coruscant is too surround it and bring in all my main fleets to storm the Imperials defences by shear number

Update: After recieving Masks unbelievably great, and simple, texturing tutorial, I decided to give it a shot. Textures aren't done yet, and sticking to a single texture with a res of 512 x 512 is getting annoying due to lack of detail. But then again, in Rebellion that shouldn't be too much of a problem. One word to desribe Half-life 2 . . . AWESOME I loved the first Half-Life, and I'm loving the second half-life. My version came with 5 CDs as well, there are three versions of HL2 - Bronze, Silver and Gold. I know that HL2 silver comes with HL Source (which is identicle in every way to the normal Half Life) and is on DVD, not sure about Gold though. It took about 40 minutes to install the game and run it the first time round for me. It's a loooooong wait, though worth it
