As workforce, most probably, am I correct? That means the are diverting additional resources to troop transports, landing ships, and fighter escorts for those. Then there are the defending wookies. If we join, they need to divide their attention, making them vulnerable to diversions." With a good enough plan, the rebel forces might stand a chance.

Of course, destroying Alderaan was a pretty normal act if the situation is seen as a normal war. Taken into a movie universe, however, it was a typical 'bad guy' action, something the 'good guys' just wouldn't do. As for the Nazi part... I tend to differentiate between 'German Soldier' (or, to be even more accurate, 'Soldier in the German army') and 'Nazi', meaning between those who fought for the good of their country or those who were simply forced to fight (like my grandfather) and those who were actively engaged in mass murdering and the manipulation of the citizens to fuel the war with hatred. I'm sure analogs to both could be found among the Imps.

That's right. Gorkon is the Klingon Emperor at the time. He is actually one that desires peace with the Federation. That's why he is assassinated by his 'trusted' General Chang (whom I actually wanted to create first, but I couldn't find a pic of him).

"I greatly appreciate your risking as many resources as you did. I seem to be of great value to you." -"You have been in contact with Moff Tarkin. I was told you..." -"Tarkin kept me around for a long time. Of course I was a slave, but I was also his pet. he kept talking to me, bragging about his power. Sometimes he told me of his military sucesses, described every fight he led, described every tactic he employed. I listened to him, following every word." he chuckled. "Sometimes I think the Moff forgot I understand Basic. Certainly he thought his elaborations were far beyond my mental capacities." He shook his head "It is this ignorance that will be the Empire's undoing." Taking another sip of Brandy, Merick nodded. "Well said. So... is there any information you can give us on the Empires plans for the future?" Ackbar's expression lost all cheerfulness. "Yes." he said, his voice low. "You could say that. I do not know much, but Tarkin kept bragging about his new position, he said the Emperor himself had assigned him to overlook a new secret project - he said it to be larger than anything the Empire - or the Republic, for that matter - had ever seen. He said it would ensure the Empire's total power."

Aww, dang, have to do the whole federation character background again, it's being REALLY messed up in Rebellion... Gorkon looks pretty good in-game, though.

"Sir, we're picking up an escape pod." the transport's commander said. "One lifesign aboard, readings blurry, it could be the Moff." "Take it aboard", Lolan replied. "and then haul the Shuttle back to the Chronicle." As the transport moved towards the pod, one of the fighter pilots cut in. "Control, the shuttle is deploying a kind of weapons rack" Suddenly two blue streaks shot from the shuttle's aft towards the Chronicle, missing the transport by mere meters, impacting in brilliant explosions on the Interdictor frigate's shields. A few seconds later, the small craft disappeared in a flash of light as it entered hyperspace. The missiles had knocked out the gravity generators on the frigate, allowing the shuttle to flee and proving once more the need for refining of the interdictor technology. Later, on the Chronicle, the passenger of the escape pod left the small transport vessel. He was a salmon-colored Mon Calamari, skinny and looking like he's been to hell and back again, but with lively eyes and a weak smile on his broad lips. The transport's commander announced: "Sir, this is the prisoner, Ackbar, and I think he has a few interesting stories to tell." OOC: Had to make Tarkin escape, didn't I? So here I am, ready to tell the secrets of the Empire to anyone who wants to hear them. EDIT: Oops, forgot that the shuttles' engines were supposed to be disabled... oh well, that's on heck of a modified shuttle, then...

Right, but even without the racism bit (which was really never that clear in the movies, although hinted to by the complete absence of other species among the Imps), the general badness of the imps remains: they build a doomsday weapon (well, doomsday if viewed on planetary scale) and employ it on a densely inhabited world as a test.

How 'bout a rapid-fire death star? or a TIE with a superlaser? or an R2 droid as capital ship? a TIE fighter with carrier ability? a turbolaser zero-g stormtrooper? endless possibilities...

Hmm...conv3ds gives me a 'file fca.3ds unreadable' error message. I tried it with another model as well, my scratchbuilt akula destroyer...same thing
