Actually, in the DVD release of the trillogy there is now a scene where Vader tells some stormtroopers to give C-3PO to Chewie so he can rebuild him, assumingly out of nostalgia. As for Vader's memory wipe, I guess it has something to do with the final battle between him and Obi-Wan.

Try lowering some of the graphic details a bit. Shadows makes things look extra nice when you zoom in, but it doesn't really add to gameplay, so you can turn them off. Also try runnig it on 1024x768. If that runs, up the rez one more. If you're not even running at 1024 to begin with, drop it below that. Other than that, make sure you're using the Star WArs maps as they tend to be more reliable with this version of the mod than he regualr Homeworld 2 maps. Also, be sure that you don't have your settings too cheap (ie, lots of RU injections and lump sums. Not only may this cause your crashing, but you'll end up with a major -RU ammount half way through the game, meaning you can't build anything). Hope one of these works

That might have been possible, but remember, since Palpatine was in charge of the cloning facilities, he would have known about such a plot by the two jedi.

I've found a ranks structure, complete with images of rank insignia, that makes sense. The only ranks that don't work for me are: Supreme Moff (that one he pulled out of somewhere) and the Grand Moff of the Order ofthe Pink Fluffy Bunny Slippers. Line Captain doesn't make sense for one reason: it's rank insignia is the same as General, but I guess there would have to be some cross over between the divisions of the military. Yes, I know, it's almost the same as the list Dr. Saxton gives, but after actually seeing the rank insignias and the sensible progression of colours, it actually makes sense. I suggest getting rid of everything from -;uatrace on. I've never bothered to add that to my shortcut target line, and it works fine for me. Ifthat doesn't work, just be sure the installer didn't create a folder in the Homeworld 2 folder called Homeworld2 (ie. C:\Program Files\Homeworld2\Homeworld2). If that doesn't work, reinstall the whole mod.

Well, there isn't a really a big gap between Episode III and ANH (not by governmental standards anyhow), so they may have been aware he was out there, just not where he was. The destruction of one Jedi, even one as strong as Yoda, would pale in comparison to stabilizing your government.

Ok... Any who, ifthere is a scene where Palpatine assumes complete control than that's wrong. We all know that doesn't really happen until ANH (when he dissolves the senate). Also, Anakin can't be a a scene with Leia since he didn't know if her existence. He can be in one with Luke though. Padme can't die at the end of the movie. Leia has to live with here for a year or two, otherwise how would she remember her mother? Something just occurred to me. Why wouldn't Vader think of looking on Tatooine for Luke or Leia after they were hidden from him? If that is where he grew up, and where the only remnants of his family live, you'd think that would be the logical place to look... unless he didn't want to be a father. Maybe he as afraid of children. Do you think he had to pay alamony?

Just to point out, in RotJ Kenobi goes on to tell Luke how he has a twin sister. Maybe he didn't think she was strong enough in the force to be considred a "hope". Your rocessor is only 100MhZ slower than the recomended speed, so it may not make any difference at all. RAM plays a big role one's ability to play games, both video RAM and mainboard RAM. 300 meg of ram is pretty good, though 512 is probalby ideal. I'd say you should be fine. If my Dad can play Unreal Tournament 2004 on 128 meg of PC2100 RAM with a 64 meg video card anda AMD 1400 processor, you should be abl to play htis with your specs .

It's hard to tell. I know that the game may be demanding on resources. The surroundings are very high-poly. That said, if you can run Battlefield Vietnam, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to run this, even if some of the graphic settings are reduced.

Well, I don't know if you'd call it "low budget", but it certainly wasn't anywhere near the cost of LOTR. The Rock os one of my favourite movies. I don't know why, I just like the plot, and its got Sean Connery (sp?) and Cage... though I'm not big on the latter, but oh well!

It was fun, but I was neglecting the other aspects of my onine life. Between work and our debate, I didn't have time to play my MMORPG or even Warlords! I don't know what I would have done if we had allowed it to streatch out to the release date of Battlefront. I think the only things I'll allow to disturb my playing of that game are school and the DVD release ofthe trillogy!

Yes . I've actually done it twice. I wasn't a general for even a week before I was promoted to admiral. I think it was because of Scath an my's debate.

As it stands now, I watch the original trillogy first, then I skip TPM and watch AOTC. Once Episode III comes out I'll watch them in the correct order, though that will be a whole day gone

There is one possibility that we haven't explored yet. Remember, it was a prophecy that said balance would be brought to the force. Who made that prophecy? Probably a Jedi, right? Well, what Jedi see of the future is only one possibility, not set in stone. So, maybe balance won't be broughtto the Force?

There were a lot of people missing that could (and should) have been in the game. Boba Fett rather than Gariant, Xizor rather than Bin Essada, Isarrd rather than Shenir Rix, Fel rather than Orlok (does any one actually use that guy? he's just creapy looking). I'd name some for the rebels, but I don't know many of thier people... oh, and Mara Jade in place of Labansat, Mendoo and/or Guaridan. For an being an alien myself, I have a tendancy to retire all of those loosers...
