It does, Mike: it's reliable technology, that's been running for many years and most of its quirks were discovered and removed. Airplanes for example have onboard computers, that you would've put in the recycler bin years ago, for the same reason. Just think of what would happen if, say ... their 'engine' was from Westwood. On some occasions it would simply crash in the middle of a mission or do something totally unexpected. Westwood would reply, that they already knew about the matter and they would need about 5 patches, until it was running smoothly
