  1. Woa , you mean you were serious with this USAF thingy? Take care, bro. Don't do anything I wouldn't do. On second thought, don't do what I'd do. That and what I wouldn't do. The force will be with you.
  2. Well, one of them sounds like a dialer. Spyware removal tools like Ad-aware should be capable of removing this, too. Don't connect your modem to the phone, as long as it's active or you'll have an outrageous phone bill, if that dialer connects to their service provider.
  3. Did the explorer show batch file (Stapelverarbeitungsdatei) as file description ? Umm and you did double-click it ?
  4. Woa, wait a second ! Not all files can be infected, so you surely won’t have to delete anything from your TC folders, except the .exe files. Although I’d wait with that as well. Also formatting will not always solve your problems, because many viruses have ways to avoid their demise, like copying themselves into the parts already formatted, ... Go to http://www.sarc.com, there you can find special virus removal tools, that are cut down to find and terminate any of those critters. You can find the most likely one, that’s spooking your pc, by reading about it’s effects on that page. Something I wouldn’t want to go online anymore is surely my trusted firewall. It keeps everything inside, that shouldn’t go anywhere else and also blocks out any unwanted stuff from the outside. There are some good freeware ones out there, like Zonealarm, or the one from Sygate. Virus programmers ? Well, what is to say about them, except that they should grow up for god’s sake ? As mawshiye said, keep the scanners updated, scan everything you downloaded and if it’s an archive, scan the files you unpacked from there as well
  5. Hi Howedar, great work as always I'm texturing the STRK for Zeelich (b_loomis on SWNR), that's where I know your work from. How many polys do the models have respectively ? Would you mind converting them for Rebellion ? Btw, the Corellian reminds me a bit of the Galactica
  6. *gulp* Also the latest (>version 50) of the Detonator XP drivers ?
  7. Trej's right. That's just RebEd for you, or rather that RebEd has been written before any models were replaced Try it ingame, it should work. I never had any problems with it, but then I can also see it in RebEd (see why I like NVidia chips )
  8. Yes, but it doesn't matter, where you install Rebellion. The ..\ just tells the program to look one folder above for the file.
  9. Sam the Sham - little red riding hood you might remember that one from a movie with Bruce Willis, that I can't remember the name of at the moment. It's what the killer always played, when he called the cops to announce his newest deed.
  10. But if you’ve set both entries in the rmodimp.ini file to ..\tactical.dll then you wouldn’t get this long directory name in the script file. It’s quite possible, that the program set like this will look after the files to import not in it’s own folder’s import subfolder, but rather in c:\import\ … Also the spaces in the path could be a problem, although they shouldn’t. That’s why I used the ..\ method.
  11. Ok, looking good so far. What's inside the script file ?
  12. Ok, I've just reconsidered buying the student version of 6.0 then Thanks, TK.
  13. Sure, but the new one should do so as well Why don't you give me a list of filenames of what's in your model importer directory ?
  14. Dunno about the exact numbers, the look good at a cursory glance. The SSD is debatable, but there have been countless discussions about it's true size. Try the CUSWE, it should have the lenghts of almost every ship in it.
  15. Yup, the STA2 TC has almost every original XWA model in them and already sports a single texture map per model. The link should be in the "other mods" threads.
  16. Something still must be missing, though. Do you have a full installation of the game ?
  17. Nope, all the files of ResHack go into the model importer folder
  18. Ok, some more from one of my favourite movies, Pirates of the Carribean - curse of the black pearl Elizabeth: "So that's it then ? That's the secret, grand adventure of the infamous Jack Sparrow. You spent three days lying on a beach drinking rum." Jack: "Welcome to the Carribean, love." After seeing the "rescue" ship: "There'll be no living with her after this." and of course: "How the blazes did you get off that island ?" "When you marooned me on that godforsaken spit of land, you forgot one very important thing. I'm Captain Jack Sparrow." "Well, I won't be making that mistake ... again."
  19. Thanks Tips ? Umm, did you already download the new modelling tutorial and the additional chapter with spline modelling ? My card section ? Well, since I'm now in the semester break, I can do all the things that I've thought about, while preparing for the exams, including revamping those cards, that I don't like anymore
  20. Ok, since it doesn't work, something in the set up seems to be wrong. In what subfolder of your Rebellion dir is the model importer installed and is the .ini file pointing in the right direction ? Did you copy all of Resource Hacker into the program's directory ? Did you unpack all of the program's contents into its folder ? Did you put the rmd file into the import folder ?
  21. Sportfreunde Stiller - ich roque (no, no typo )
  22. Hey Kaja, long time no see Try this site. It's the only one with a Liberator model, except of the SWMA, that I know of.
  23. Did you make a full install of Rebellion ? Is the tactical.dll file in the Rebellion folder on your hdd ?
  24. and on the propreties, do you see the filename of your texture listed, like "mtrn_c.bmp" under the change button ?
  25. Ok, here's another one of my alltime favourite quotes: "I'm Ashton Kutcher, I loooove Justin Timberlake" followed by some manic laughter. Now it's anyone's guess, after which episode of Punk'd he said this
