Well, you see...that's a different story. You see, once upon a time I visited England and me and Jahled (you know his real name, right?) had one too many beers--err, I mean cans of lager, and...well...I drank, ran around, yadda, yadda, yadda, I ended up wearing a lampshade on my head for the rest of the night. Hopefully so. Well, of course, that's me!

Actually, I plan to join the U.S. Navy as an officer, but I have thoroughly studied every branch of the Armed Forces and, along with that, my father is a resource of information since he has served with every single branch (Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Air Force, and Army). I don't mean to boast, but I am quite an authority on the Armed Forces (or so I've been told).

Thats a typical american syndrome True, quite true. I have and he said that whenever there is a matter that needs an official military opinion (since mine, though militarily accurate, is not official) to feel free to ask him. So Colonel Peterson has become a resource to the SWR.

I doubt it's a name, but I doubt it's a rank as well. I think it's more of a royal title he probably achieved during his time as a Jedi Knight, probably dubbed so by some royalty for his deeds. I'm sure by rank, Antilliles, you also meant title, but I have tried in the past and shall continue to try to establish the fact that a rank is not the same thing as a title.
