  1. Do you mean extending the text to encompass what occurs to the characters and so forth in the novels as well?
  2. Where the hell are you getting your info, Trej? And is it official? Because I have searched and searched and searched, but never found those. Along with that, I have repeatedly read that from both official and unofficial sources that there were NO grand admirals at the Battle of Endor.
  3. Now come now, Trej, you can't cheat because I said that, just like I haven't cheated about your secret base. Be fair, or I shall leave the RPG.

    Thrawn's dead...

See, even the Rebels like Thrawn.
  5. No problem, my friendly northern neighbor!
  6. Like always. Next is Bob Hope.

Actually, I believe that Jahled's clone would have too much insaness in it that it would cancel itself out and actually be a genius....
  8. Thank you, Trej, that cleared things up significantly.
  9. Watch yourself, Antilliles, or else you may find yourself our next victim....
  10. I believe the Thrawn trilogy, if made into a movie, could indeed outdo the original. I mean, you have the not-so-popular ANH, though you have the REALLY popular TESB and ROTJ. But then again, the Thrawn trilogy has three books that are all popular. So the original has 2 out of 3, where as the Thrawn has 3 out of 3. One could argue that TESB and ROTJ pull the slack for ANH...but it does not outweigh HTTE, DFR, and TLC. Then again, I probably stand alone on this....
  11. Trej, to be quite honest with you, I think the whole wormie/Gamorrean festish thing has run its length and, quite frankly, is no longer funny. Along with that, I truly do not think wormie likes it one bit.
  12. Among amny other things. Sadly, the U.S. Navy is also some-what corrupt in its upper echelons.
  13. You too, wormie?! At a high school level ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps, so those who don't know won't ask...again) summer camp, they took us into a gas chamber and my best friend (who later turned out to be my company executive officer) ended up doing the same thing. It was great!!!
  14. As Scath, Trej, and Jahled will tell you, my idea of fun is very different from everyone elses.
  15. "Wa, wa, Corran might die." STOP WHINING YOU PANSIES! The Empire loses a great commander (i.e. Thrawn) to a band of stupid Rebels who have no real military minds on their side to match the Empire but still they win by default because of a traitor. What kind of stupid ending to such a greatness is that?! And, to add to that, you don't see me whining like you two babies! To be poetic, some of the favorites will probably (or at least, hopefully and interestingly) die at the end of the NJO (Corran, Luke, etc), but of course...TGGMW!
  16. You've really never heard of them, Antilliles? You have got to be joking! THis is too weird...someone who has never heard of The Iliad and The Odyssey. In some translations (those translated from Greek) have the main character of the The Odyssey named Odysseus (as well as the goddess of war called Athena or Athene, king od gods Zeus, etc)where as those translated from Latin (Roman) have him name Ulysses (as well as the goddess of war called Minvera, kind of gos Jupiter, etc). Yes, I know my Roman and Greek history. How despicable...how...disgusting!!!
  17. That's true. And I'm surprised he hasn't tackled that bit of SW for he has tackled some of the harder stuff.... I would write him an e-mail, but the forty e-mails I have sent him in the past have yet to be answered.
  18. Along with what Trej said, you also have a subplot about a faction within the Empire under the command of the Supreme Commander of Joint Special Operations who is waging a war to save the galaxy against the Vong. Like Trej said, it's all quite interesting. And with that, SOCL posts his 1500th post and BOOM!, he is a WARLORD!!! This isn't as emotional as when I made the treasured rank of grand admiral, but oh well!
  19. Ah, yes, the infamous JRTC (Joint Readiness Training Center), the place all soldiers dread and hate to go located at Fort Polk, Louisiana, USA. So, what did you do in the military, dude21?
  20. Interesting. Now, the problem with society (maybe not really a problem) is that the words "dictator" and "emperor" (etc) have bad connotations where when one hears it they immediately believe that it is "wrong and bad". Most of that goes toward a type of brain-washing many governments have done (such as the U.S.) where they declare that dictatorships are evil...NO MATTER WHAT and if you disagree then you must be EVIL. Do you see what I am saying? It actually turns out to still be that same dictatorship because you are being forced to agree, but twisted in what is called democracy. I mean, look at Socialism and Communism, they are the best governmental ideas ever to the point of uptopian, but due to human nature (greed, hunger for power, etc) they have always failed. It's all rooted in psychology and such. Any comments? An excellent point and example, Trej.
  21. FOOL!
  22. I should certainly hope so!!! Indeed, especially since I am being promoted to assistant manager and will be acting manager for the next two weeks. Of course, that means more pay, but those below me vary from the same amount of time I have worked to two or three years, though the managers and aquatics director does not trust them and have bestowed on me that great duty, privellege, and responsibility of managing. During that time I will be VERY busy, but the days I have off, I shall post. For example, tomorrow I do not work so I can stay up late tonight (without crippling reprecussions in the morning) and post. This way I can catch up. ...but we shall see.
  23. 9:06 PM CST, Saturday, July 5, 2003: -Added more to Part 2 of "Magical Lies" where you're introduced to the amphibious mobile suits -Updated the Dramatis Personæ -Updated the Abbreviations list -I'm still looking for a Good Samaritan to host my stories -I'm still looking for a better title for "Magical Lies" -I'm still looking for opinions and feedback on the story Okay, so in today's update (if you read the story, that is), mention and an introduction to the amphibious mobile suit will be made. Like I did earlier for the mountain mobile suits, I also have a picture of the amphibious mobile suit; it looks like a cross between this and this with the same basic colors of the latter. The first one pictured is the YAMS-01A, a prototype to the one in the story; the second is another concept drawing. The one in the story (the AMS-01A) looks identical to the first picture, except for the left arm, which looks normal (like the right one; like the two arms on the latter picture).
  24. After naming the first Dreadnaught of the fleet Katana [as said in the story since the fleet is named after the lead/first (flag)ship], I just use a systematic code of letters and numbers for the rest. I based the system off the U.S. Navy's own. For example, in the U.S. Navy, a guided-missle cruiser is coded CG and destroy is DD. Thus I designate them CHS (recently) and used to denote them CCS. CHS is heavy star cruiser and CCS is star cruiser. Well...that's just me....
  25. This is late, but who cares. Trej, the reason the SOCL and Trej wrote thing was reversed some time back was because I decided to add even more confusion to these forums. Zahn seems to follow the movie's lead best of all because he seems to run the story in such a way you can actually imagine them as movies.
