  1. Book, short story, whatever. The point is: I can't wait until they come out! They should be awesome!
  2. Oh, well that makes sense! The real Zoot I'm sure is cute . . . but the devious forumer Sneaky_Zoot is a different story all together. . . .
  3. WAY too much spinning, bro. I have vertigo and . . . ugh. . . .
  4. Nope, sorry, though that does give me an idea . . . Just joking! ASAP means: As Soon As Possible. Some people write ASAFP . . . I think you can figure out what the F stands for. By the way, my crappy website has been updated MAJORLY! YIPPEE!!! It has the first scene in the posted story! Check it out and tell me what you think, please! Also, if anyone is interested in hosting my stories or making a website for my stories for me (since I suck as making websites and can't maintain them very well), then please contact me.
  5. Well, if you guys check out my crappy website, you'll see some minimal updates and you'll notice that I'll soon be putting one of my stories online. I've been told it's quite good. Keep checking on my page and tell me what you think (just pop in here with reviews once it's up, if you guys want to). I'll have the story posted ASAP. Hmm . . . let me see. I could have you try to guess my girlfriend's name from her initials, but that idea would get old fast. Hmm . . . I'll come up with some fun game soon.

    Fleeting...

You guys have the oddest things happen to you. Things like this, for some reason, never happen to me (sometimes I wish they would). I don't much about the way the AI works, but to me battles handled by the computer seem to be random, like the roll of a dice. To me it seems like the computer designates each ship, fighter, craft, etc a number. Then I suppose it does some sort of equation (maybe get the average for both sides) and from there, who ever has the highest (or lowest . . . depending on what work the computer does) wins. I'm guessing this because when I don't like the outcome of a battle, I load, throw in a fighter squadron or two or maybe a gunship, redo the battle and win. Another thing, though, is that I redid a battle with the AI after I did not like the results and it went from Rebellion winning to the Empire (me) winning. So it may also be random . . . but then again, if the numbers are the same for both sides (assuming the previous theory as what is truly happening), it probably goes random and "tosses a coin" for which side shall win. I also suppose that different craft have different values on different ships (i.e. fighters having a higher value against Death Stars). Just a few ideas, of course.
  7. ARGH! I sure as hell hope you meant army in the sense of large group and not literal army. Ugh . . . dreadnaught and army . . . poison to my ears. . . . Blasphemy! (though, now that I rethink it, dreadnaughts under Army command: quite possible)
  8. Yes, Andy, I do know what an Eagle Scout is. It's the highest possibly achievable rank in Boy Scouting, a rank I have earned (not to boast, but to give detail to how Andy found my name). Quite an idea, Andy, but I assume you probably found other things, like websites with my father, Dr. Cardona, on them and e-mails I've sent people that made me look quite stupid and they decided to post on their site and make fun of. ::shrug:: It happens. So, what are the rest of you guys going to do about Andy guessing it correctly?
  9. We could do it differently this time... and make a spin-on... And a spin-on is . . . what?

How very kind of you, Scath. Yes, quite glorious!
  11. Well, at least with the prequel books being made will be a few by Timothy Zahn, specifically one between TPM and AOTC that talks about Thrawn's origin more closely and the Outbound Flight (which I thought is something that should not be left out of the prequels . . . after all, it was a rather big political and social move for the Republic). Those are the books I am most looking forward to.
  12. I suppose the blue-lightening all has to do with how the user views the Force. To what extent is it a tool/weapon/etc and so forth. Zoot was actually considered cute?
  13. I assume you're making a reference to Jango Fett(?). Are you suggesting that perhaps he was a representative for the Mandolorians in the Separatists? If you are, it's good theory. If not . . . what did you mean?
  14. I vote for ZA-421 (Zoot Agent-421).
  15. Quite possible and not impropable. Along with that, it may have also depended on what position he was in. I'll use an example known here on Earth (the principle is still the same): When an officer in the U.S. Navy serves with the Marine Corps, he is mostly called by his naval rank, but at times, because of the fact that he is serving with the Marines, he may be called by the equvalant counter-part rank. Example: Naval Lieutenant Commander = Marine Corps Major. This is not unheard of occuring. So it may very well have been that Thrawn was serving in a position where he had more exposure to ground forces than fleet. But there is still a glaring situation in that. Even before Zaarin's attempted coup (post-TESB), Thrawn was all ready a Vice Admiral, which is higher than an Army Colonel. After the situation, Thrawn was appointed as one of the 12 Grand Admirals. So here's the thing, how could he be a colonel later on? It doesn't make sense unless he was acting under a disguise or something to make sure no one heard of a Grand Admiral still existing or didn't want Isard to prematurally know Thrawn was a Grand Admiral. I choose the former over the latter, but even so, I believe it may be more probable that it was an colonel who happened to be named Thrawn. It's not impossible, nor improbable.
  16. CORRECT!!! L stands for Luciano!!! But the O is still in question . . . but I suppose that makes little difference now because . . . Well, damn it, Andy, you go it! Congratulations!!! You have all tiredlessly succeeded in guessing my name! And in only 5 pages! Most forums it takes close to 10! CONGRATULATIONS all! Now, I declare this thread to be used to talk about life in general! Really, just whatever you want! So there you have it! SOCL: Saul Omar Cardona Luciano
  17. SILENCE! I have yet to finish Ruin and you'll end up spoiling it for me!
  18. Granted, but C-3PO is not a recognizable human being. Along with that, do you expect that out of the hundred billion protocol droids in the galaxy, there isn't at least another that looks exactly like Threepio and couldn't be confused for him? Okay, my statement over Kenobi and droids was badly stated. My point exactly. He may not have owned the droid, but DID have it in his possession (this was the droid was speaking of). I believe Kenobi should at least be able to remember the fact that at one time he had at least ONE droid under his possession since it was vital to his arrival at Genosis and I'm sure he's flown with a droid more than just that one time in AOTC.
  19. Imperial Scum?! GASP! HOW DARE YOU?!! It's quite fun, though, doing it. Especially when you go into a fleet engagement. I can just see the faces of those Rebel scum. All of them cocky and thinking: "This'll be easy" and then the realize that they're not up against two or three Dreadnaughts, but instead 200! I recommend everyone try it!
  20. That would be quite nice of you, Elvis.
  21. Okay, Scath, I may have been mistaken; chill. You win. I haven't heard of any plans for after NJO . . . but then again, I may be wrong again.
  22. Of course, he should have recognized his one protocol droid out of a hundred BILLION in an entire galaxy. I can see why Vader might not recognize C-3PO. A good question is this: Kenobi, in Episode II, has an astromech droid. But in IV he says: "I don't recall every owning a droid". I don't mean he sould have been able to identify his astromech from any other, but the fact that he clearly said he never owned one. I doubt he meant literally never owned one, but more of he never had one in his possession (which he clearly did in AOTC). Along with that, why did neither C-3PO nor R2 recognize Kenobi? Were their memories cleaned somewhere between the movies?
  23. Interesting, I had not known about this. What was Siege supposed to be about? I mean, what was left out . . . if any?
  24. Yes, I read that as well and Isard names Thrawn as Colonel Thrawn, which is not a Naval rank. But no matter, it is quite possible that the Colonel named as Thrawn may have truly been someone else completely. After all, Trej, it's a WHOLE galaxy. Do you actually believe that there isn't someone in it whose real name is Thrawn? Even if Grand Admiral Thrawn's name wasn't Thrawn, it would be TOO strange to not find someone who had actually been named such. Granted, but Thrawn probably would have had Isard detained and arrested before anything. Along with that, consider this: the fleet LOVED Thrawn. Had Isard executed Thrawn, the fleet would have abandoned her and/or gone against her. Probably under the command of Pellaeon. Along with that, if the fleet would have turned, it's quite safe to assume the army would have as well. I wouldn't read the NJO books until recently . . . but yes, by what I've read so far, it does seem that way as well. Please, nobody post any spoilers! Paul, you might want to read those books.
