  3. Um that would be maybe 2pm US Eastern and 1pm US Central time.
  4. The live chat is @7pm GMT on October 28. http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=153112
  5. That part actually made me laugh because it was kinda random. Boba Fett has disappeared out of the main picture for a while. Then in UF he comes to the rescue of them (Han and Leia if I remember correctly) with a group of other guys dressed the same.
  6. Me too. I'd hate to have to face one while playing as the Rebels.
  7. Mine is in my sig. but if you can't see it it is : garbageben And Gen. Vader. To change your name go to tools>options Then type in the nickname you want.
  8. all CS games BF2 or BF42 Rome TW BFME CnC Generals + Zero Hour expansion SW: Battlefront Homeworld 2 X-Wing Alliance Empire Earth II
  9. The point is that yes, you can use TRD to take down the Death Star.
  10. Tie defender definetly wont make it in. As the SSD was in developement during ANH, the defender was in developement during ROTJ. But if the SSD didn't make it, the defender wouldn't even make it if they were to take the timeline all the way up to ROTJ. Defender: researched up to ESB. Introduced Pre-Endor in small numbers due to Zaarin's rebellion. Yeah. I remember in the book "Isard's Revenge" that Wedge was wondering how the battle of Endor would have gone if TIE defenders had been there in sufficient numbers. If it hadn't been for Zaarin... it would probably have been ugly.
  11. The way it sounds is that you can customize each hardpoint on your ships, not just upgrading your weapons and shields.
  12. This idea is not my own, but DMUK's: He/she suggested that they will release an expansion pack or two that will include not only new vehicles and ships to suit the new time era, but also will have a few more planets added in as well, creating a larger universe.
  13. Anyway, as others have stated, an SSD would be pretty hard to balance in the game considering the rebels didn't really have anything to compare it to (other than the bulwark cruiser). With the DS all you had to do was do the trench run, but with an SSD it would be a lot harder to kill, because there is no easy way to blow it up.
  14. Like Teradyn said we aren't sure anymore. Delphi came on about 4 days ago and was answering some questions and said that it ends at the Battle of Yavin. Whether he meant the game stops there or just the technology you had access to stops there, we are unsure of.
  15. Well I put a link in many of my sigs on other forums, but I guess word of mouth too. Also I think some of the EaW fansites have PFF listed.
  16. Not to mention the cool control panel thing on his chest. Man if you punched his buttons the wrong way.... *pushes one of the buttons that shuts down his respirator "Noooo!"
  17. Here's yet another reason I am glad we have these forums: "petroglyph is lazy, that is why they pushed back almost a year" http://forums.lucasarts.com/thread.jspa?threadID=81907&tstart=0 Lucas Forums are just the most pathetic excuse for fans of EAW ever.
  18. Me too. The way they marketed the game it seemed that you would keep on playing until one side won. Now it sounds like you play up to a certain point and then the game stops. At least there will hopefully be expansions and, if nothing else, skirmishes.
  19. Me too.
  20. Actually it would be FBI because the CIA is for the international and FBI does the work in the US.
  21. I'd say on an offhand guess that you'd have to pull the whole squadron back.
  22. It's not just mods and such as I have joined.
  23. * raises hand
  24. Not to mention it is two games in one. Normally games are either space rts or ground rts. EaW incorporates both. Throw in 40 planets and you have a game that is a steal for $50.
  25. Isn't it ironic now for those of us (me included) who said that it only started a bit before Yavin and went on until you won and it turns out those who said it went from a few years until Yavin were correct? Now a lot of the people on this forum (not devs of course) are saying this game has been a disappointment. This is a Petroglyph Fan Forums (unofficial of course), but you guys that think the game has disappointed should appreciate the efforts of Petroglyph in creating an ultimate Star Wars RTS experience for us gamers. Just because the SSD is not in or it only goes up to Yavin does not mean this game is going to suck. I believe the Star Wars: Empire at War will be just as good without all the EU ships in. I personally am going to remain true to the purpose of this forum: being a fan of Petroglyph and supporting them and their game-making efforts. I know this is a long post, but this has been sitting on my chest and I needed to get it off. Cain if I did something wrong delete the post and pm and I did not intentionally mean to step over bounds. [/rant]
