  1. Well I doubt that sig was that person's original work My avatar, for instance, I've seen in three other forums since I had it and I ripped it off of another person's avatar.
  2. I quit reading magazine previews after I was promised and didn't get fast lines from the black hawks, black hawks with rocket pods, and stealth fighters for Battlefield 2. Stupid Gamepro. Edit: And I get my reviews mostly from word of mouth. Don't trust game sites and magazines much on those either.
  3. Thats the way to do it!
  4. Why? Mind you I've some distant family left over there, but still... Brits have my favorite proposal of all. I forget what it was exactly called, but I believe it was during the early to mid '60's when the British govt. said all aircraft were obsolete since the advent of the ICBM and basiclly killed the Royal Navy's air fleet and hobbled the RAF aircraft for a good long while to make way for more ICBMs. I don't see why any nuclear arsenel has to be updated at this point, I doubt well see anything like the cold war for a 3 or 4 more decades and even then we might not be so luckly as with the last. Waste of taxpayer money. Yes, the American Air Force and aircraft industry were quite upset that our friendly, yet backwards, neighbors were about to create something that could knock out anything we had at the time. I find that fairly funny, but all the politics involved were sick... But it is usually that way with the military.
  5. And communism. Love your animated .gif BTW.
  6. Meh, I was always more of a PC gamer anyways. I care not for consoles.
  7. Ouch. When I got Battlefield 1942 anthology set, it would get 99% complete and screw up on one of the maps killing the enitre installation. EA customer support refused to acknowledge anything was wrong with the game and said if "there is actually a problem, you should buy another copy and try that." Hence, the only company that I hold more of a grudge towards it Sierra for customer support. And when I mean company, mean overall, not just video games.
  8. AvP = Alien vs Predator. Now, what is JKA, JA, and JKII?
  9. Not really. Whats a couple dozen soliders in an army of thousands anyhow? Anyways, it'll teach you to keep your troops in cover and transports. I like the heavy vehicles stuck in mud idea, I mean you really couldn't send an AT-AT through Yoda's swamp now could you?
  10. It would be funny to see some infantry units get randomly fragged by lightning or something. Or if the weather is bad enough you can't use speeders, though not allowing bomber strikes could be annoying if the opposing team has their shield generator in some isoslated area that your units can't get to.
  11. Didn't seem to deter them from popping a few rounds into the ship.
  12. You have two odd news 5's. The other one is the drunk moose... I saw a moose once in Yellowstone (I think, it was Yellowstone.) The things are friggin' huge! I don't think I'd want to meet up with a drunk one.
  13. Yeah... We haven't had any good witch burnings in awhile, I think we're well due for one.
  14. Ban accounts, that usually helps. Make a few very public examples and the rest usually get the idea.
  15. Well since the mods are running off of the game's code I do believe you would be able to enable hero respawn if the mods do get rid of it. Probably some will even use the same XML code for it, unless the mod developers have something special in mind, in which case you'll probably have to harass them about it.
  16. I'm not calling you anyhting... You do get a little picky if things get off topic. If I wanted to call you a noob, I would do so. And I really don't care what you call me, you probably couldn;t think of anything I haven't heard already. edit: Ahhhh, I see where this is going. Off topic and all kind of flames... You'll probably get your wish anyhow.
  17. Not to mention ships can stand out from the rest of the fleet and become symbols of sorts. Not any one person on the ship, but the ship as a whole is a beacon of hope to it's allies and a source of fear to it's enemies. I think ship can most definitly be heros of sorts.
  18. He becomes upset if things get a little off topic is all. Since the question has been answered by an official source, he is trying to head off any off-topicness.
  19. After I deemed this place n00b free, I went here and never looked back. You know... Its kind of odd that I'm listed as the 8th registered user ever. I beat out most of the other regs here.
  20. Ahhhh, the good ol' broadside. I prefer high caliber turret guns my self, but whatever. I've no idea what a good tatic would be since I'm not sure if you can actually put your ships into a formation. I've a feeling many of these battles will turn into free for all melees, and with fleets of similar strengths it will be who can micro-manage the best wins.
  21. Well, if they were on a planet that the DS blew up it would probably be a true resurrection spell. For those of you not in the know, true resurrection is a level 9 cleric spell from D&D. With it you can resurrect the dead without needing a body, provided you can unambiguously identify the person you wish to bring back.
  22. Most likely. I find re-building ships and naming them after previous ones a more likely scenario than Luke getting stepped on by an AT-AT and comig back.
  23. I think the phrase "heros do not return" tends to lean towards them not re-spawning, not being non-existant.
  24. Wow, you actually get to go home?
