Bill is your friend! Join for free hosting: http://groups.msn/YodasEars EDIT: hot off the production line, a banner that I think is rather ambient and soothing. http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e253/Jahled/Saber_banner_hvy_2.gif I managed to get the whole thing moving using a duplicated layer set to just 5% opacity in every other frame! I guess there's enough space left for additional white text saying something or other that's static

I think this entire argument is somewhat wieghted against the younger crew. Ewen, as an experienced actor, has said he thought it was hell performing infont of so much blue backdrops. How the hell were Natalie and Hayden, without his experience, supposed to shine? The fault lies with the director and producer for any misgivings of performance. Natalie at least is a brilliant actor on account of Leon at least, and Hayden didn't seem that bad if you're not comparing him to what i've just said and the experiance of the actors he was working along side with. Just my five pence on the subject. Thank flob Tom Cruise didn't show up.

Use the Death Star mod available in the downloads section. OR: *Jahled's top tip* use the editor!!! Yay! Start the game with the Death Star at something stupid like 10/10 for about fifty days. The AI, being as brain dead as it is, will take this carrot and build one or two. I've had games as the rebels when i've stumbled across two to my fleet's horror. Ultimately, the trick is not to give the Empire to much of a hard time in the early stages of the game. Due to the very high maintenance cost of a Death Star, the AI will simply give up on constructing one if you give to much of a hard time.

Agreed. I shall now batter myself to death with my toothbrush.

I must confess to experiencing the sensation of 'having a cup of tea with Salvador Dali,' when observing some of the posts here. The universe is about 13 billion years old. That's scientific fact, unless you reckon there's a global conspiray theory involving everyone with a physics PHD qualification in the world. So what was the supreme entity 'hanging around for?' Why not get started serca 12 billion years ago and get God's image started? (I left a casual billion years to let the furnace of the universe to cool a bit)

My government have virtually scrapt the concept of retirement. I guess one day, when i'm about 71, one of my Karabenas will brake and i'll plung to my doom...

Your European measurement scales are deeply confusing... in lay man's terms, talk in pints or cans my dear fellow.

I wouldn't trust it dude ; Supershadow is squarely viewed as a twat. The Exclusive George Lucas etc bit should do for it you at the top of the page, obviously followed by the script plots to ep's 7-9, after such said exclusive contact. I'm amazed the site has lasted so long.

I thought this was a topical photomash untill I just saw it on the BBC news before the football: http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e253/Jahled/muslims.jpg funny how some muslims have reacted to being portrayed as violent by being violent and threatening to behead Danes etc etc... Edit: host pic myself

I think they're behaving like childish prats myself. I generally cringe when any faith can't handle a laugh at it's expense. The frequency of Muslim anger at this and that though is getting a bit boring. I can remember in the 80's when they were yelling loudly on British streets for Rushdie, a British citizen, to be murdered in their faith's name because he wrote a book. Pathetic. Sorry guys, if you want to live in Europe you have to adapt to freedom of expression.

M! How did you manage to get a gif that is only lettering over 1mb?

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e253/Jahled/banner.gif A simple banner, it's not very exciting.
-
It should arrive in your inbox sometime mid-July, due to extreme crapness on my dial-up's behalf.

The tenticle pretruding from your forehead gave it away my friend. Plus you've always had a horrible habbit of emerging from mirrors. But your secret's safe with us.

I should have known. It's obvious now. I feel enlightened. The secrets of the universe are locked within cactus needles. Ok, I accept your offer. I feel the urge to make a modified headband involving cactus needles to connect me to more advanced levels of existance elsewhere in the cosmos...that will of course also involve an empty Ketchup bottle, a common spade, an broken pen, and a rusty-penguin. ALIEN CONTACT HERE WE COME!!! Send me a package of the said needles to the following address: The RH Jahled Palpatine MP, House of Commons, London SW1, United Kingdom.

I must confess to not really having been following this thread to religiously (excuse the pun), but as someone who does lots of work with wildlife in general at the Zoological Society of London, one thing that has occured to me in the last few years is the concept of a 'compassionate and loving god.' I'm sorry, but if this supreme super-power can create an entire universe that is about thirteen billion years old, with all the vast and unimaginable distances and uncertainties involved, why create an eco-system on this particular atmospheric rock with the round the clock slaughter that is nature? It's not very loving or compassionate is it? I'm not knocking anyone's faith here, but this is something that really bugs me about the concept of a compassionate divine-being. Why create a universe that's so borked? Edit: ..and why the hell worship it? It's like prostrating yourself to the scientist who created something who's function is only to kill.

YOU EVIL, EVIL, nay extremely EVIL fiend! Most of us stroke young kittens making stupid purring sounds. You. You shuve yours in a finnished pint glass. Twisted. Why, you're almost as screwed up as me; perhaps you to live with a feline-fiendmaster who gets up to allsorts of demonic and horrible things. I share your anguish. I weep for your tormented soul. Tears are streaming down my cheeks for your wakefull-hell. But I understand. *makes tissue into plane and throws across Atlantic*

On it's way dude! I guess you'll recieve it in about half an hour on account of my crap dial-up connection...

I'm struggling to figure out what I could use them for here in dreary London...

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e253/Jahled/bluelettering_01.jpg I think that's as good as i'm going to get it, but I like it. I couldn't achieve the subtle movement of the R2-D2 effect, but I reckon this is good! So thanks Mad and Olorin for your advise! Evaders: I've saved this as a psd file so can use any background or forward it to you in a file format of your preference if you think you can use it. We're obviously at luxory to use the layer styles for any particular text you can think of, Warlords, SWR community, or whatever. IF you want it as a png or tif file, you said once you use Paintshop pro, PM me with a forwarding address.

Go to the downloads bit on this site dude.

Ben would rue the day he got the settings a bit wrong: http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e253/Jahled/Remote.gif Someone is welcome to adjust the speed of the time frames...

No worries dude! Here's the path. You'll need Resource Hacker: Open Resource Hacker and locate your Rebellion gamefiles on your Hard drive. FILE, open, strategy.dll 4 options, expand the second one, bitmap A huge list of folders. I suggest exploration, but i'll keep to your request, open folder 1053; Han captured by bounty hunters and delivered to Jabba Open entry 1065, you'll see Luke in Jabba's court entry 1066, our heros captured by Fett and delivered before Vader entry 1067, again but with a post-Yoda Luke The wav files that you hear are in the first folder. explore and you'll find them. Cool?

It's an incredible site. What's more incredible is when I sent him this: Lovely and very helpful site! Being using Photoshop for over six years now, and am self-taught.I am trying to achieve the holographic lettering effect the author of the above used. I obviously can do holographic stuff, but there's an element of the above which is beyond me... Any ideas? Thanks, -Jahled Which despite being extremely vague, he just replied this: Hello Jahled, Any ideas on what element is beyond you? I can't tell by not seeing your work... Regards, MickM, So i've just mailed him backwith my specific problem and a copy of my last effort posted somewhere above! Scathe: Besides what M said, you can also save a gif as a psd file if you've got Photoshop and you can see each frame as a differant layer, which is very useful for seeing how people have mashed together their work!

That's about it dude!
