  1. GAT Dude... me is all of 34 completely miss-spent years! I blame cats in general. EDIT: London is bloody freezing at the moment.
  2. God, I feel old....
  3. http://www.sayagain.co.uk/b3tapix/images/aliens-sofar-1.gif This is what this dude has done so far... I like the chest-poping bit best.
  4. Unfortunately yes. That was one of the worst movies I've ever seen, so long winded and boring. The ending was alright, though could have been better again - infact, shorten the movie to half an hour or even less and it would have been half deceant. Agreed. The more it went on the more I actually couldn't wait for the young film makers to meet their demise...
  5. The trailer: http://www.sayagain.co.uk/b3tapix/images/aliens.gif Stay tuned. *Buys popcorn*
  6. Found this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v393/Xenolithe/b3ta%20pics/yodabomb2.jpg

  8. To the original thread question, the late response is because you've more or less posted ths in the wrong place as M_Xan just pointed out! But worry not, your solution is the downloads section of this site dude, the Movie patch: http://www.swrebellion.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=5
  9. *ducks behind chair* In my experiance the computer never retreats anyway if it's a system where only fighters are present...
  10. Oooooh! Good find M! That brings back alot of feelings and memories... I worked with a similar lunitic when I was a despatch rider who got from central London to Edinburgh, capital of Scotland, faster than a train.... about episode 1 off that site I guess. Last heard of getting a proper job as some form of computer geek in Wales...
  11. How in the hell do you get eliminated in curling? Do you trip on the ice? Rub each others stones the wrong way? You get distracted: http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0TwCRArUYNvTyE6aI*2m0ZmEfXS6he7ZwRoSlhseoU1ggbrZYC06G5iXHVQtSN4!3R5RHOFKkjKlusF2*Nrx198cq2ajrFmq4PBol2M9RhWlIrIf1rZB70A/tertisCURLING.jpg
  12. We can make EAW more rebellion like: 1. More units. 2. Real speeds 3. Removed Pop cap 4. 200 Planets 5. Remove all the silly C&C stuff and balance from the eaw game 6. Have in mind the Rebellion gameplay always. etc, etc. I estimate that if the SWR modding community wants it ... they could finish such a project in 3-4 months. Sounds good Cain dude, can't wait!
  13. Since I said it had. Problemo? EDIT: Before I get on the wrong side of anyone's feeling's (which I don't want to do!), the bottom line with RebED and Rebellion, is that it can enable you to mod stuff to how you see the Star Wars mythos. As you may all be aware my now, it is my personal view that how the EU has evolved is crap, hence I make changes to try and get more out of the AI ingame.
  14. A combination of factors difine how the AI builds fighters, chief of which I presume is the A-Wing's ability to be as maneuverable and fast than the Empire's TIE Intercepter, whilst costing the same as the X-Wing. After years of gradually getting border looking at them i've swapped it with the X-wing in my games and made the X-Wing similar to a TIE Defender, both fighters with Ion Cannons...
  15. Fair enough dude! You would have thought LucasArts would have figured there's a market for something very much like Rebellion, only matured by about ten years. Perhaps not. Perhaps quick and easy combat games are the order of the day. The game's designers were responsible for the highly entertaining Command and Conquer Red Alert titles I believe, which were highly addictive and fun, but as you wisely put it in this context, without much depth. I was led by the over-excited to believe EaW was more. Increasingly it is nothing of the sort, just an evolved C&C engine in the Star Wars universe with the glow of 2006. Not my Rebellion replacement. And may Darth bring you all the joy in the galaxy sabering rebel-scum!
  16. HOLY COW! Is EaW this bad! And after all the hype over the last year around here...
  17. Very Zen. [sarcatic mode]On a simular vein, I highly recomend standing in the middle of a room. After a while you will realize that you are placed exactly in it's centre, and will become aware of the walls surrounding you, perhaps even the doorway inwhich you entered. Many things might confront you at this point of understand your presant locality, like wow, or the broader bearing of seeing the room in a new light. To stimilate proceedings you may wish to perhaps shuffle your feet in a random direction, thereby making yorself not at the exact centre of the room, to graps some meaning at the paradox of your new location in relation to where your were standing a few moments previously. Perhaps you might observe the room;s window in relation to your new postion; perhaps you might not (it may after all be at your new location's back). Ultimately, you may spot the light switch, realizing your may be in darkness or illumination, and that you are at an exact moment where you have the ability to alter your situation. There! At least ten minutes where you don't have to be bored! I lasted two. But that was the same night I locked the house at night to go to bed, before it dawned on me I was outside...[/sarcastic mode] EDIT: Made easier for some people to understand post...

  19. Ooooh! A nostalgic trip into days of yore! Yay! EDIT: Reminds me of the first Zoot war when UltimelyDemise sold God an insurance policy, and DC beat him at monopoly...
  20. As our honorable friend Paul pointed out not so long ago, in the UK and the US, the only people who use kilos are cocaine dealers... why they can't just use pounds like the rest of us is beyond me..
  21. Very clever!
  22. Ooooh you lovely person! A big Woo to you!
