This is a fair enough comment to make. Due to the fact the project is *secret* and i've just more or less resigned from it, I can't comment further with weight. Perhaps if people wanting a 'total-conversion' would wake up, I might take all this more seriosly.

This is something I struggled to understand before grandmasters like Lord_La_Forge poked me in the ribbs enough to understand... so lets go: Before you save your files, do this: toolbar, image, mode, indexed color, palette, which list you a drop down menu of options, one of which is 'options,' so click on custom and load in the rebellion_palette file I suggested you saved earlier... At this stage I suggest you set the dither on diffusion, at about 90%, but your eyes will at this stage be the Jedi As a rule of thumb, to get round Rebellion's horrible image requirements, I tend to apply a tad of smart-blur before the transition of file-mode.

There is somewhere... you'll have to go off on an exploration mission into the general thread's past...

So far looking good! Horrible corruption by the Rebellion engine of what looked perfectly good in you image-software. Best way to overcome this is to save one of game's original encyclopedia entries as 'rebellion palette' somewhere where you can find. All the game's entries are .bmp, so you have to change your images to bmps, before you import them into the game, otherwise the game engine will do it for you and corrupt them. Best way to do this, to get some idea of how they'll turn out is to import a custom paleete, which you should use the said saved rebellion palette you've now got lying around somewhere... If you use Photoshop I can talk you through this step by step if you want dude.

The major reason why it has taken so long is in part due to factors such as the bottom topic in this forum, as the fact the game is essentially graphics orientated. Not many raised hands on that front, just posts slating the project and as such the masterfull work that has gone into it...

Wilko! Gosh i'm having fun with the editor! I'm currently playing as Imperial with 522 units, whilst building buildings that are Allaince (*addresses original post*), with a few lovely Naboo buildings starting on my side... what a lovely editor. Plus my AT-AT's have added hit points, though I haven't figured out the triiger for attack...

Wierdly enough i've never seen a copy of the clone expansions in a shop, but have been thinking of getting a copy online.
