Galactic Battlegrounds-Imperial Mods
Jahled replied to Jahled's topic in Old Star Wars games nobody plays anymore -JI
By using the game's editor, you can completely smash the population-limit restrictions! I can start a game with 400 units without a crash! -
Cool! Bloody horse-drawn-bloody-carriages killing and maiming society all over the place as per normal...thank god they don't have anything motorized... Poor Marie! Only when she started to glow did she wonder something was a bit odd! Yikes! But thankiness to the explo dude! Science has a track record with it's outlook that outshines spiritual belief. It's got our mobile phones working, satalights in orbit, medical brake-through progress, and fantastic images of the universe incressingly almost at year zero... Spiritual belief on the other hand, has given humanity a rather conveniant 'option-out' of the 'hard-facts' with what it possible with the cosmos we live, that sort of work btw. Ain't aimed at you Xan, but I see a sea of evangelic muppits poncing around life's stage making out they've got the creator's message and cure what science hasn't figured out, and yet can't regenerate a lost limb. Rah! But having just said that, your lot don't go in for all that cash-motivated crap. Buddhist-thingy: I spent a couple of weeks at a monestary, and left aged about twenty having realized I wasn't upto to a whole day of mediation. As a spiritual path it does seem more sensible than any of the divine/Thor/Ishtar/Odin religious belief, disguised as Christian/Muslim/Pagan, which always seem to ultimataly end in questions created by a human brain applying language and thought. *bling*

YAY for gibberish! Like who is Marie Curie?](can't be arsed to google)

Dude, read the homepage of this site; Evaders mentions we are hosting a fan site of that game*; should be full of stuff concerning it! *Goodness gracious! I am the third or fourth oldest memeber of that site!

You know M, my friend, I think on that note a woo is in order: http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e253/Jahled/greatballsofwoo.gif

Emm... i'm always slightly suspicious when someone's first post has nothing to do with Starwars... On a broader note, this community has tackled various religious issues with considerable maturity of late, which is to be commended by all, given the potential for fireworks with the less intelligent amongst society. Let's keep it that way. Ultimately this is a StarWars site. We are all here because we love Star Wars. We didn't come here primarily because of some form of spiritual belief. So no one should take other people's personnal views or opinions on this particular 'outside interest' to the core! Visit zoos.

Emm... My personal preferance for cards is to try and make them sort of 'realistic' as possible, using photography not drawings if possible. My fruitless online searching for the above hasn't really come across to much, or even 3d models for that matter...

Hello stranger! I haven't played it, and quite frankly feel the urge to play it less and less the more I read concerning it. The amount of people 'rediscovering' Rebellion through experiances of torment playing the game might lend some weight to this. The developers apparently really listened to what the fans wanted. It really turned out to be Rebellion II! * Not knocking anyone who enjoys it though. Just doesn't sound like my cup of tea... *Just remembering all the trolls over the last year

:Bows in respect for composure! I undoubtably don't share some of your own spiritual beliefs, but I sure as hell respect your right to have any. I also respect your liberal-minded thinking when approaching the always tricky subject of spirituality. Actually, I think this might apply to everyone... so yay to y'all!

Has anyone got some reasonably high-quality images of the Dark Trooper Phase II (robotic) trooper? I can't find any good ones on the web, apart from bad ones; usually stills from the Dark Forces game. Also, i'm also looking to make an Imperial Army card based on the Imperial Navy trooper (looking like the Death Star trooper), but again can't find usuable images (even from the site I linked above) Any help would be appreciated.

A Chance to Crack the Limitation of Card and Units!
Jahled replied to Zarkonacas's topic in Rebellion Editing
Why would Lucasarts need to know? They are not psychic. -
Read the front page of this site.

I'm glad I have about a thousand years to make up my mind, *makes entry into non-existant blog*. God, with all his supreme judgement took about thirteen billion years to figure on day of rest was all that was needed. So why spare the time. He needed time to pause on his majestic creation. Bloody marvelous from the onset wasn't it? An entire eco-system based around a 24 hour continouos slaughter of life on this particular rock, threatened by the fall out from supernovas from nearby stars which learned people say happens from time to time to bits of rock floating in space... ..a god I feel a real respect for...

Not trying to be smart (or a jerk for that matter), but I'm going to guess you don't know too much about most religions. Most people don't know squat about religion. If you are a rare person who has studied some religions, I'd still guess you don't know much about many (there are dozens of major religions, after all). It may not be that you find all religions flawed, but perhaps you simply need to look around a bit more before finding one you like. And of course, as a Mormon I'd recommend checking us out... Though a warning for you; most websites about Mormons are waaaay out there. Best to find an actual person and ask them, the web isn't so reliable for fact-finding regarding religion. Too many heated arguments. Emm.. not trying to offend, but isn't your religion yet another one that by it's virtue disables the rest of the planet from getting to heaven as non- subscribers? This notion has always humored me over the years given life on this planet predates the creation of thought.

Bored utterly by religion... http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SgDrAlEXZ4WUXpSj5!bgG*6Jem29uF722g**dQUNsr!UDQ5wh5ohquYoE9ovvdz1xRJCcAuA9KNS0Uh0QzTXXe0sfVcmNdHVxr7vFszrEg66RJtCGmEdXg/radicalatheism.gif

All this deeply disturbs me... I live in a society where I can't own something very large and noisy...

Grand Admiral Thrawn not following dress code?
Jahled replied to Sinister's topic in General Discussion
I don't recall any grand admirals in the movies, but that's just me... -
http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e253/Jahled/Imperial_Commandos_Main.jpg Imperial Intelligence hot on the heels of flash uniforms... E should have the cards now, they look great ingame!
-
Ah! The Imperial Commando card is the one i'm messing up in Photoshop as we speak Treji-dude! Based on this: http://www.501st.com/memberdata/04/97/tx0497_full.jpg Which is very simular to the game's original Imperial Commando card. I should have the image done after some pancakes and ingame testing... *grumbles about bmps*
-
It depends on your source dude! You've got the robotic Darktroopers from the Dark Forces game, and the Darktroopers from the Dark Empire comic books; these I guess are more like the latter... In my games I use both, the robotic ones being the hardest, but with poor detectability (5).
-
My new card... http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e253/Jahled/Darktroopers_main.jpg *laughs fiendishly* Survives ingame as well...just about... Instant Edit: I forgot to put in the whole point of this new thread *like doh* which was to point everyone's attention to this site: http://www.501st.com/members/members.cfm Which has a glorious feast of card-making source material for the glorious empire. Stormtroopers, Sandtroopers, Scouttroopers, special forces, officers, etc LOADS OF EM! Yay!
-
emm... well two aspects of gameplay would make me almost content with this TIE-they-are-by-definitiion-crap-and-the Empire-saluttes-you-for getting-in-one-*err-actually-i've-changed-my-mind-about-imperial-service*-get-in-it-and-don't-come-back-type-of-motivation-advanced-military-technique -Take to long long to deploy during a tactical battle, making no sense whatso ever, given you would deploy them before you launch a battle. -Can't withdraw. Would be cool if they could return to their hangers...on any system surface. They must need a lav from time to time no?

Well, that's rich comming from an entity that also doesn't exist! Or was that statement some concoctability of our alien creaters to deepen and somehow add an element of believable depth to the myth that is Europe and our so called online personalities? Given I, as a non-existant creation of this alien conspiracy, posted the truth about the real world, then what does this tell us about the masterplan behind the sinister alien invasion??? Could it be BORKED? Maybe it has been since 1951.
-
Yes, it's part of the sinister conspiracy, aliens are actually here; Europe, Africa and Asia don't exist, and there for I don't either. I am a fictional creation created by the aliens on some mysterious laptop somewhere in an isolated lab in the jungles of Costa Rica... So blame violent carrots... where is Treji-dude anyway? Anyway, some Star wars stuff i've just stumbled across on the web: http://www.afinkawan.co.uk/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/lukenoooo.gif Expanded Universe purists may want to look away now regarding the T15 Skyhopper... and you may well have to be familiar with the comic book...

http://members.chello.se/codey/images/us_earth1.gif ...errr http://www.elephantshrew.dsl.pipex.com/images/apollo_creed.gif I love a good conspirecy theory. I've just figured that to have any kind of qualification in physics a person needs to be a reptile... Tea with aliens.
