I find managing the various aspects of the game half of the fun of playing. Though it can be stressful when you grow too fast to keep resources growing with you.-Grand Moff Conway

At this point you have no choice in the matter. If you want to subscribe to Star Wars Insider you are automatically a Hyperspace member. What sucks is they raised the price of the magazine to do it. I personally feel ripped off.-Grand Moff Conway

Although I just renewed I can't remember what it cost. The magazine is well worth its cost but Hyperspace is just an extra cost as far as I am concerned.-Grand Moff Conway

I tend to favor ISDs with Victory and Victory II's as they have great planetary bombardement ability. Also my type of game is much more aggressive than your style from what you have said. - Grand Moff Paul Conway

I accept that Star Wars was Georges property- BUT- he or his representatives authorized all of the books. If he did not like something why didn't he squash it at the time instead of allowing us to get used to something he intended to change anyway. Also I don't hate Lucas I just dislike some of these alterations of the beginning of the Empire and of films I grew up revering. Why change a great thing too much. Most of which doesn't really matter I guess as I can create my own reality with Rebellion where the Empire never is defeated by the rabble at Endor. I don't find the game hard, just fun. I always play as the Empire never the rebel scum. I play with RebEd changes so my game is very different from an unaltered one. I tend to have more diplomats on my side than is standard, though not a lot more. I have a few favorites including my own card of me as Grand Moff Conway that I use every game. As to planetary strategy I also use Gencores but I also put 9 fighters usually TIE Interceptors (cheaper than Defenders) and six troops. I build up fleets slowly as resources allow, but generally I end up controlling much of the galaxy before the game ends.-Grand Moff Conway

Well Lucas seems to be changing everything that has been written before. An example is having those critters (Geonisians I believe) give Tyranus/Dooku the plans to the Death Star when anyone older than a kid knows that it was developed at Maw by Bevel Lemelisk, Qwi Xux and crew. Tarkin had it built for Palpatine. Lucas even changed Boba Fetts whole story in one fell swoop. I no longer trust the man to keep things as they were developed over the years.-Grand Moff Conway

Well I like the Eclipse model SSD. As it was the only one of its' kind ever built I consider it to be unique. And it was the most powerful ship except for the two Death Stars.-Grand Moff Conway

Actually you can make your own copies of the original cards; using rebed look at the original character and save as a card. Simple but effective.-Grand Moff Conway

I agree with Jahled on these issues mostly. GL created this universe we all love and discuss- he needed to show the rise of Palpatine and he is doing that.-Grand Moff Conway

Great going!! I am doing well in my current game, but nothing like you yet. Although I do own most of the core planets at the current time. I am playing on the biggest galaxy size. The rebel scum only own a couple of lonely outposts. I am currently expanding into the outer rim territories. I also have frequent problems with so called 'NATURAL DISASTERS" so you are not alone in your frustration on that issue. -Grand Moff Conway
