Even loyal characters can have bad days at research, but if you click on the continue research checkmark they continue working and eventually get the job done. In my Rebellion universe none of my Imperial characters defect thanks to Rebed! A good Imperial should fight on regardless of the galaxy wide appearance of rebels anyway. The Grand Admirals definately were a mixed bag of characters. I can't believe that Grant went over to the rebels, what a traitor. The others were fools except for Thrawn and the traitor Zaarin. -GM Conway

The A1 tends to build a lot of fishboats as well (Mon Cal's) but has anyone ever seen it build the later ships? I have never seen a Bulwark or any of the higher line ships. Of course I'm usually crushing them by the time I get SSD's so maybe they don't have enough maintenance points left. I would like some fleet battles where I could get hurt.-GM Conway

Thrawn is great, but I also like Daala. I think they didn't portray her well in the books though. She was supposed to be a great tactitian beating the best of the Imperial teachers when Tarkin found her, yet they have her screw up continually in the books. Just goes to show that the writers ALWAYS make the rebel scum win. I still think that the way Thrawn dies is bull. -Grand Moff Conway

Biological weapons use came up in "Shadows of the Empire" if you remember. Vader had a biological weapon plant that went bad and thus had to destroy much of the Falleen home world including Xisor's family, which is why Xisor hated Vader so much.-GM Conway

I find that if you are playing in a huge galaxy as the Empire you start out with a couple of planets under military control. If you don't put more troops and send a diplomat to these systems ASAP the rebel scum try to start revolts on them. As long as you deal with them quickly the A1 doesn't take advantage of the situation. I don't know what the setup is when you start as a rebel as I refuse to play as a vermin. -Grand Moff Conway

I disagree with that. The rebels got lucky the first time, and the second time the Emperor wasn't paying attention to the battle. If he had been paying attention the rebels luck would not have been the same. Let's face it dictatorships are more centralized and react quickly to threats instead of debating everything. -Grand Moff Conway

Well guys it happened again in the game I finished last night. If it is a freak of game logic it is an recurring theme at this point; although out of my many games it's only happened about six times counting last night. I believe the boy is a coward who is to afraid to face the mighty Imperial forces, Jedi indeed!! Hah. -Grand Moff Conway

In unmodified Rebellion my favorite ship is the Victory class cheap and useful. However in rebed games I love the Sovereign class Super star destroyer- my modified version of Eville Jedi's card. The only modification being to the costs of building and maintaining the ship.-Grand Moff Conway

Well I went ahead and ordered a new copy of Rebellion from Lucasarts and shelled out $29.95 + shipping. But to have a backup copy it's well worth it. As I have pointed out before Rebellion is my favorite game. So if you live in the US it is definately possible to still get a copy.-GM Conway

Well the thing still happened with 2 different mice, so it doesn't appear to be the mouse thingey. I reinstalled rebellion and the directx drivers- still screwing up. Everything else works fine and my diagnostic program finds no problems. This is just a slight pain.-GM Conway

You can still buy it from Lucas at full price of course, I am seriously considering buying an extra copy myself.-GM Conway

I have run into a problem for a couple of months now with the game actually trying to reload itself or start a game in the middle of an on going game. The situation is perplexing as all of the sudden you go from a game to the load game screen, if you exit the load screen you can reenter your existing game from where you were at the time of the lapse. Frequent saves after a couple of times of this happening have prevented any problems but it is a pain when it happens at high speeds. Has this ever happened to any of you before? -Grand Moff Conway

Untimely, I love watching all rebels being destroyed. I enjoy crushing the rebel scum and conquering their planets. GM Conway

Another thing is to allow the rebel scum all advanced facilities from the begining of the game while denying the Empire the right to them at all. I tend to allow the rebels and Imperials advanced shipyards from day one but deny the rebels all other advanced options. This doesn't make the game harder for me; I just hate the rebels. - Grand Moff Conway

I must confess that in all the games I've played I always play the Empire; but I always capture Han never the bounty hunters. Jabba has never appeared in any of my games.-Grand Moff Conway
