I am probably one of the few who has never built up a Katana Fleet. I use my resources to build up tons of Victories as I find the extra fighter on each ship adds to the protection of the fleets, and as I have stated in previous posts I love Vics and Vic II's. I am surprised that Bad Samaritan actually lost a battle with 200 Dreadnaughts! I would think that unless you are greatly outnumbered 200 ships would be hard to crush. -GM Conway

Well Jahled my friend although you find most EU worthless - I agree there are stupid things in Darksaber but Daala- one of my favorite characters beside of Vader and Tarkin- was also in it. The EU is far from perfect but I enjoyed some of it especially Zahns trilogy. I actually prefer some EU stuff to the first two prequals, this Revenge of the Sith will be better because the foolish Anikan will be replaced by the great Darth Vader. As far as clones and such I believe That if you read the official Strategy guide to Galactic Battlegrounds- A book licensed by good old GL himself - you would read a background story called Pax Empiraca- The Wookie Annihilation which talks about the Imperial occupation of Kashyyk. The story is told from the standpoint of an Imperial Stormtrooper a non-clone about the differences between a clonetrooper friend and other clones. The story both shows that the clones make up a part of the forces of the Empire but also that there are humans both conscripts and volunteers among the troops. Besides this evidence the fact that every Empire in human history something Lucas has studied has built large militaries. Any government would be stupid to look a gift horse in the mouth. No matter the duty you will always find people who will do it for a price- not normally a high price either. I myself believe that the size of the Military of the Galactic Empire was a combination of clones and humans. Just my beliefs.-GM Conway

I use Victorys for the core of sector fleets as well as using them combined with other ships for commerce raiding. I love Victory SD's and have talked about them before as being one of my favorite ships. They are perfect for bombarding systems under rebel control but you must be careful to bomb selectively! I also build Carracks, Lancers, and Dreadnaughts to combine in various formations with the Victorys. But I must point out that unlike your strategy of not building any Imperial SD's I do have my main Shipyard at Coruscant build one early fleet comprised of 3 Imperial SD's, 3 Victory SD's, and an Interdictor. This fleet is used to protect the capital world and intercept large rebel fleets if detected. I will point out that I use Rebed to change certain aspects of the game such as allowing the Interdictor cruiser to be built from day 1 on. Also the Imperial fleet all have class 1 hyperdrives. There are a few other small changes especially in the characters that the Imperials have- many are cards that I have made.-Grand Moff Conway

I watched The Incredibles just so I could see the Revenge of the Sith trialer (I did want to see the Incredibles as well of course). The traler is great and it was cool to see Alec Guiness again. The trailer makes me think that this will be a great movie!- Grand Moff Conway
