The only thing I do is give my Imperial ships have class 1 hyperdrives. This makes them go any distance in 1 day. Unfortunately I know of no way to differentuate between interplanetary travel and intersecter travel.-Grand Moff Conway

Interestingly it only effects the core planets, the rim planets loyalty are not effected. But having your core planets all drop down is a real drag and makes your diplomats overly busy.-Grand Moff Conway

I sometimes build a Deathstar it depends on cash supply and my mood. When I do build one I stock it with advanced fighters either TIE Defenders or TIE Raptors. I also include Victory or Victory II's, Carracks, and an Interdicter. Since I typically build at Coruscant there is a DS shield in place to defend it at the home port. I use it to bombard planets as an offensive weapon to sway neutral planets and conquer rebel ones. The only time I actually use the superlaser is to destroy the rebel HQ. I try to build a safe planet with a DS shield in each core sector.-Grand Moff Conway

I don't know about the UK version but the early US version came with a poster with all of the ship types and all of the original characters on it. The poster also contained some of the key commands that could be used instead of the mouse. Of course once you started to use Rebed and changed characters, ships, ect. the poster just became a nice collectable. -Grand Moff Conway

I liked Empire Strikes Back the most of the Star Wars movies. Another good movie was The Blackhole made by Disney as a Star Wars takeoff. Another good movie was Stalin with Robert Duvall - what can I say I like Stalin all of that power. Why would you scrap excess refineries or mines? As you get more planets they add together to give you more income! I can understand recruiting instead of building in the early stages, but destroying resources doesn't make sense to me.-Grand Moff Conway

I remember the day when I found Revelutions site with the Rebed on it I was so happy. Soon thereafter I found the Rebed Card Guild and met up with a bunch of cardmakers who gave me tips. I remember those early days well. Igor was a youngling back then now he is a site owner. Time marches on.-Grand Moff Conway

In my gameworld Imperial characters cannot defect or become traitors. I feel that with stormtroopers on board of every vessel it would be too hard for an officer to turn sides without getting caught. And Boba Fett (my card) would naturally side with the money which during the Timeset for Rebellion is after Yavin but before Hoth wouldd be the Empire. Many of the characters in my game are cards with backgrounds related to me as Grand Moff Conway. Thus being loyal to me they backed me in my bid to be Emperor after Palpatines death. -Grand Moff Conway

When I was an active cardmaker I looked everywhere for pics of people (mostly women) to mix with Imperial uniforms and create new people for my empire. I also took images of characters in the movies to add realism to my game. I wish you would have known me then Jahled. Yes that is a pain. Since I never play as the rebels I don't have to worry about it, but the AI does leave a little to be desired. I have tried mods and still don't get an aggressive battle very often. But this is my all time favorite game followed by Panzer General II and Imperialism II.-Grand Moff Conway

You must have had to scrap most of your military machine to even out your maintenance income. Surely you knew how destroying planets reduced core system popular support. I rarely build Death Stars as I prefer Kaiser class SSD's with Victory or Victory II's. You can build 3 or 4 Kaisers for the same price as the DS. If I do build a Death Star I rarely use the superlaser instead using it's immense standard firepower and pacifying effect on rebel supporting planets.- Grand Moff Conway

Well I take it day to day. This site keeps my spirits up quite a bit, which is one reason I donated the money even though I could not afford it. Also I write back and forth with Jahled and that keeps life interesting as we both have cats. My cats are my children as I never married or had children of my own. My family helps me out as well, I live with my father and grandmother.-Grand Moff Conway

Sorry guys but I was not kidding. I am in the later stages of kidney disease and have had diabetes for over 32 years and it has taken its toll on my body and organs. I spent most of July and part of August in the hospital from various problems related to diabetes degeneration. But only time will tell, I'm a tough old bird and may yet live longer than the doctors guess. -Grand Moff Conway

I am a Catholic although I haven't been to mass in a long time. I find comfort in believing that there is something or someone looking out for me, especially with all of my medical problems. Having been given only about ten years to live (as of last year) I hope that there is something after life. I do not have a problem with non-believers to each his or her own.-Grand Moff Conway

I actually own two copies of the game. My original came with the poster which I still have in mint condition along with the manual. My other copy is new in the box but did not come with the poster. I keep the new in the box copy in case my original disc is damaged.-Grand Moff Conway

It depends on how you like things done. Personally I always manage things myself and I always play as the Empire. Even in games where I am winning I sometimes have to slow my military building to make mines and refineries to increase maintenance income.-Grand Moff Conway
