  1. Expressing personal opinion isn't connected with being an American, most of Western Hemisphere, and lots of other countries do have such freedoms. Media is another matter, news of all kinds, do have to be checked by redacteurs and editors, who have their own opinions, and have to follow a slight censorship of their superior, so all eventually winds up being directed by a small elite. I wouldn't wish death to any of my enemies. And I think we all agree on this. Terrorism, is wrong, but for them it's the only way to fight back the cultural invasion. For us, living in the WEstern hemisphere, it's our culture that is invading so we don't realize it. But from Muslem who have been isolated for so long, and their golden age is long past it's different. They girl died standing up for somethign she believed, but that is never an excuse for death.
  2. You get the message when a characters turn treasonous. Only Force-user can pick out traitors. They say somehting like "TRaitor revealed", then comes that message but they don't switch sides. They simply foil your missions, and give Intelligence, you can retire them or put them on a Galleon and park them at a destroyed planet until your situations gets better.
  3. I'd rather have the U.S. disarmed, their the ones with most weapons. I don't think what their point of entering a war against Iraq. Iraq may or not have the weapons, that the U.S. calims they have. But the U.S have them to, and they have used them. I don't see their morale high ground on this. this Bush ultimatum, I saw somwehere that it was counter by the Iraqis asking Bush to abdicate. They don't have the muscle to back it, and Bush just like Saddam certainly won't do it. I agree with you dinochick, I'd very much go to Pluto, or Coruscant or Corellia, and leave this place behind, but that would be a easy way out, to stand against this kind of stuff is what had made the human society evolve. What Germany did in WWII, did teach mankind a lesson, even if that wasn't the Germans goal. Perhaps even after this crisis mankind might learn somethign useful.
  4. Imperial Scum ,you'd blockade systems and allow entire populaces to starve, while glutton Imperial sit on their admiral chairs. I prefer Imperial populace starving when lots of glutton Mon Cals blockade Imperial system.
  5. I't was pretty obvious when Bush shipped I-don't-know-how-many tens of thousands of soldiers to the Gulf. Bush is doing pretty much waht he wants since 11/9. About Hussein, I think it'll be pretty much like Osama, he will drop out of sight.
  6. I usually Reinstall from my back up copy, I haven't had any problems with it. As Elvis says you might give the RebEd partial installer a try.
  7. Look Elvis, not only did you get battleships, but battlestations, and lots and lots of them... This can only be countered with lots and lots of Rebel Star Destroyer.
  8. That's the bright side of Internet, lots of worldwide communities, brining together people of different places. Well lots of people and a maniac cat...
  9. Don't know Elvis, for me it always was AI not A1. Anyway the AI does make weird choices, lots of Star Galleons, and lot sof lancers, and lots and lots of TIE Fighters, and then Defenders. When I'm Imp I usually only build TIE/Ints.
  10. Where did you meet him? In the last Grand Admirals adn Warlord's gathering? Or was it in a seminar for addicted Rebellion players? When do you get to know Thrawn's inner thoughts? Most of the time, you see Pellaeon second-guessing Thrawn's inner thougths.
  11. Oops, our fault then. Are you sure they aren't in the STrategy.DLL? I can't think of any other place.
  12. I hope I could say that. Once I get my new computer. (it'll be long before that) , and I get a faster internet access, when the government stops discussing with the national monopolistic telecomunications provider and simply allow to buy DSL technology((might be even longer) , I'll join Elvis's campaign of Rebel Liberation (we can't use worlds like conquest, Mon Mothma prohibited it) .
  13. I guess there might have been one, but that was too long ago. It's a serious deformation of my actual name, and it sounded too starwarsdish, so I used it when I joine SWR. I one of my short stories it's the name of a Chiss officer. What's the meaning to your name?
  14. Most likely we won't but there is still hope. Jahled did find out what LOL was, we may yet find out what was meant with PT....
  15. That's all I can say....
  16. Nice one, Jahled. Even if not all of them make it into the TC, most of them will make it into my desktop background.
  17. Congrats on you promotion. BTW, you did forget dividing by pi and taking the square root, then applying th Pruduktregel by integral damit du den Flächeninhalt deiner Posts wissen kannst, indem du berücksichtigen musst dass die obere GRenze des integral gegen unendlich strebt. That's what I'm doing in math, and it's sad. Especially if your teacher considers himself an "artist", math may be hard but it's beautiful. Mask, sorry for bringing back memories of maths on german.
  18. For a moment there was balance. At the speed his thoughts and feelings raced, the whole universe slowed down to an eternity. A moment, a eternity constrained within a heartbeat. There were no differences between eternity and instant, and in this moment there was no difference between light and dark and void and existence. The Force was all, and he was the Force, he was everything. As he streched out with the Force he could sense not only the people on board the Star Destroyer, he could sense the fighter escorting the fleets, the Mon Calamari cruisers. And Krall, below. There he sensed the coming together of the Force. Light and Dark, which opposed the void. In the Rebel ships he could sense Jedi, traing specters within the Force, and far away he sensed the Emperor Evaders. And far away in the distant corners of the galacxy he felt nothing. A void, much like the void on the planet, but instead this one was like a pest coming and destroying, everythign at it's wake, like a blacktide that swallowed entire populations, and left behind a dark patch. Then the screaming started again.
  19. The cocokietrooper business was back on Earth, in Haven there are no restriction for cookie-troopers. Let's go to that waterfall, there were some ginger-bread houses around. Hmmm this chair is made of chocolate, and this is ... white chocolate.
  20. I apologize Supreme Overlord, especially after ritual scarring follwing the battle of zone 52.567. What kind of new implants will you get after your next promotion? Perhaps a cat's ear?
  21. New model and new fighters, yoohoo! And you weren't gone, you simply were overwhlemed by exams.
  22. Yo tampoco entiendo. I don't understand. Ich verstehe auch nicht.
  23. Download Resource Hacker and open the Strategy.dll file, look around in the bitmap tree, they background should be there soemwhere.
  24. The Defender is more like an enhanced B-Wing, than an interceptor. It's a heavy and fast bomber.
  25. Depends on what you changed. If you altered the position of the sectors, and importance, visibility, etc. It's the sectors.dat in the GDATA folder. If it's the names it's the TEXTSTRA.DLL file.
