  1. I never said that going down the Gran Canyon wasn't rafting, just that I wasn't in control of the boat, thus I wasn't actually rafting...
  2. Sigh... Its getting closer to my rank... Closer and closer and closer... *Pumps rifle* I shall defend my terrirtory and make sure that I always stay ahead of Mitth.
  3. Oh... hmm... Well, perhaps I had to close the window in drafting class when the tech teacher came in... The forum is apparently not allowed on the school computers while we should be doing work The "A reply has been made" indicator probably went out... S***, now Mitth only has 5 posts to go... Still, I got a date for the weekend, not even Mitth's spamming can upset my mood... Worry about the little Tofu's, Mitth!
  4. It took forever to make, but it isn't exactly my worst work ever... Good sword fighting, good action, a sudden plot twist that nobody else decided upon that is still flexible... F*** yes! “How fast are we going?â€
  5. Er, are you thinking of the "Pulsar Skate"? Or else the Yag Dul station which Rogue Squadron steals in "The Bacta War"? Booster Terrik takes the station over, and outfits it with some ridiculous number of targeting systems for torpedoes and turbolasers. It includes a gravity well, and causes whoever is commanding a ship in the immediate area to wet himself... Or herself. My favourite superweapon was Stackpole's idea.... I forget what it was called, but the idea was to hollow out a moon, then fill it up with Death Star super-laser technology, but on a far lower scale. It still has the ability to blow up an SSD on tap, just not a planet... Plus there's no little access shoot to dump torpedoes down! There's also the gravitational anomaly generator from "The Phantom Affair"... Generates a miniature black hole and sucks ships into it. Would work great against the Vong
  6. This wasn't even my neighborhood, plus it was in a kind of bad part of the warf... And I was pissed off after having been lost in a nature reserve for about six hours and developing some massive blisters...
  7. You mean every other post and every time, Mitth? There's a space! HAH! BEAKED! Its part of your initiation into the 1,000 club... We all act like jackasses toward you.
  8. I was in another State for a while. I replied to it as soon as I saw it. The topic was innactive when i got home at 1 A.M. and I was tired... I got it the day after I got back.
  9. Yup. Down the Grand Canyon when I was in 5th grade. I didn't really control the raft, but it still sort of counts... Okay, no, not really at all... But I do kayak occasionally. We have an ocean kayak model which means that we can go in fresh, brakish, or salty water with it. "Kayak surfing" as I like to call it is a pretty awesome pass-time in which you get the kayak out on the ocean and ride a wave in... We have a tandem, one which I am usually in the front of (Something about being too skinny to be in the back or something to that extent). Still, ocean water can be nice and cool to cold... Though there is the bad side effect of tourists "No, I am not a tour guide. I'm wearing swim trunks and a T shirt, why the hell does that make you think that I'm a damned tour guide?!?" Sends those little three-year-olds running away to their increadibally buff parents who, thank goodness, are incapable of swimming because they live in Toronto where sticking your foot in a river will both kill it through frostbite and and turn it into a tenticacle from the pollution.
  10. I've said it once, I'll say it again: Crotchety old bastard!
  11. Dude, hell yes! Thanks, man! I'd give you a hug if there weren't an ocean in the way and if I weren't straight! That is now my official sig.... @Def: Quick, check your post before the BEAKers attack! Edit: protect yourself!

    Books

Poor soul, you don't have much time for reading, do you? I finished the thing in about three days... I did nothing but read it just about.
  13. lol... SOCL, I have the feeling that this might be the beginning of a force that can counter Mitth and Scath... BWAHAHA!
  14. Well said, J... Well, actually confusingly said, but once you decipher it, well said because its the idiotically happy spirit of our little community...
  15. TRAITOR!!! ditto...lol. Never call the cops on your fellow man... Though that does remind me of a time I had to watch a kayak in the middle of a residential area's sidewalk... Scared the crap out of some woman. She even left her groceries in the car!
  16. Hey, I just realized that Snake joined the day before my birthday! Eh, you haven't been spamming, man... You're aloud to have a low post count. Then you're like GAT and GMC who get congradulated when they reach 2,000 because it took so long...
  17. [Conspiratorial_whisper] No, its really 1999. The government has been lying to us for seven years! [/Conspiratorial_whisper]
  18. Myself and Mitth at the least most likely... Wraithone might finally be promoted to a sergent by then Lurkers are still going to be lurkers I predict... And Scath might have died again...
  19. That is one TERRIFYING thought... Three... Two... One... NTSS NTSS NTSS!!!1 Muahaha! ...Yeah, y'all probably won't have to worry about mini Tofu's running around... I intend to brainwash my children such that they become my servants and see pain as a good thing... I shall feed them the flesh of people who dissagree with me!
  20. Hah! "everyday", Mitth? Two separate words, right there! And as I already stated, Scath, I believe in practical math, not theoretical math which has no real purpose other than to frustrate us...
  21. Sheesh, Mitth, not even I check it that much! I check it maybe 3-4 times a day! Once in drafting, and once or twice at home... Weekends more so because I have no life. And did anyone else notice that Mitth has posted every other post on this thread?

    Books

I'm a fan of the H2G2 books, though I am currently immersed in 1984 (George Orwell sp?) and The Invisible Man/The Time Machine (H.G. Wells) Favorite book ever is Talion Revenant (Michael A. Stackpole)... The Harry Potter books aren't half bad either.
  23. It took three attempts to get that? And how did my vid kill the thread?
  24. HERETIC!!!!!! *Beats Xan over the head with the double-bladed swordfish* Hmm, its rusty... I must hit it with cheese until it is sharp again... I live in a rather flat part of Florida (An effing island is definitely flat). The beach is nice, as are the dunes, and there really is hardly any contour to the land. I live with it just fine. I live with mountains just fine. I hate living in a city with the lights on 24/7, however... Nearly killed somebody when I was in Vegas... But now I'll go back on topic: I don't care if there are hills or flats in the area. I'm fine with 'em. my area, as I said before, is flat, but we have trees to make up for it.
