Well, folks, Mitth's spamming, er, posting, has almost paid off. True, about 1/4 to 1/3 of his posts are him BEAKing people, or calling them stupid, but they still count toward his 1,000th post. He has about thirty or forty posts left before he makes it to 1,000. So I'll hurry up and say it: Congrats, Mitth. Now nobody post for a really, really long time so that Mitth has to wait for an eternity before he can achieve 1,000 posts

Confused the hell outa me then and still does... As I said before, it's pointless math. Geometry is almost entirely useful math (I've used trig and area formulas and such so many times in drafting that it hurts) All in all about half* of the algebra you learn is good, and all of the geometry that you learn is good. *You get half of your algebra instruction in one grade if you're me

As far as good strategy games with campaigns true to History, Well, Battle for Middle Earth I and BfME II are both great for that- II more so than I on the game play, I more so than II as far as campaigns go (You have the lovely option of killing the good guys in both campaigns, though ) Still, I'm a LoTR junkie, so its kinda biased- I just highly recommend it... Game kept me addicted for weeks after I got it...

I know that its going to seem rather odd if you walk up to her and say "Hey, this random person on the internet who's real name I don't even know is hoping for you to recover" but I am rooting for her. Harsh... I hope that the therapy goes well for her... Radiation therapy is difficult to everyone. My grandfather died of cancer and my mother had it but survived... sorry, in the game you're in command of a ship or something. You come upon an island with a volcano. Depending on what you do, it erupts. I always just drank coffee for eight or nine turns and got chucked overboard for it.

Upon looking back at the fire ant issue: I have a great solution: Put on a pair of thick gloves, grab a shovel, and shovel the whole ant hil and underlying network of tunnels into a trashcan. Close the lid and lock it. Leave it for a few days until everything is dead. Throw it out. Put some sod in the hole left behind, and voila: Problem solved. You can also do that with any of the other soluntions... Dig out the dead part and sod it, that is. Not too much work, though you can break the shovel whilst doing that (I speak from experiance. Deep, narrow holes are hard to dig.)

No, I'm saying that the original Mist which had very low graphics and sound requirements ran slow on the computer to illistrate how bad it sucked. Bunch of corrupted files and errorrs on the thing... Good ridance to it! I don't know where you can find "Sea Adventure" and other such games... If you chose to drink a cup of coffee in that game while a volcanoe erupts you get thrown overboard... Ah, great text game...

All of the other ones were from a Macintosh computer made when Tex was a small child. It died, unfortunately... Seriously, the thing is so old that AOL had just begun a year or two after we got it, and the free disk that they sent had cutting-edge technology and games on it. That is how sucky it was. As a matter of fact, it played the original Mist slow. Very, very, very bad and dead computer- we gave it away.

Sorry, but that was all way too long to hold my attention... I only read the first page-and-a-half... I am currently a Freshmen in High School, and hope to take a Winter/ Spring job while in collage as a ski/snowboard instructer somewhere on the West coast. When i do grow up I'm hoping to land a career as an architect (I have all the necessary CAD skills), or possibly as a mechanical/civil engineer... If all else fails/I feel patriotic I might pursue an engineering career in the Navy and become a SeaB as my father before me.

I shall be rather ticked, though not altogether frightened (I was under the influance of a computer chip) but I would enjoy it if it, say, increased one's relfexs and such...
