That is not a bad thing, for one I have faith that this will be an incredible mod and one which will last. there is also no guarantee that EAW will be that good, Rebellion is still being played isn't it? There have been challenges before. Above all, patience, there is no way that Jahled and his team will allow all their hard work to go to waste. I for one, EAW or not, will play Reloaded to my heart's content.

One thing I absolutley loathe is people who glory in death. You go to some websites and you meet Yanks who say: "100 Terrorists dead. Ragheads = PWNED, roflmao at the ragistanis" Or (as it is by no means a soley Yank thing) "3 more terrorists dead, they deserve it for being american..." - in relation to the deaths of marines. That sort of crap really gets me angry, to see these pathetic people who think that war and suffering is cool. From the safety of their quiet suburban house however...They are truly the scum of the Earth. With respect to 'motive' what we have to ask ourselves is 'Why does someone have so little to live for that he or she will destroy themselves just to take others with them?' The answer quite often is that an American of Brit bomber has travelled over head recently and in the ush of one button wiped out their entire family...war and suffering upset me so much, war is not the answer, if it why have we made war for thousands of years and all for no gain. Terrorist or freedom fighter depends on which side of the fence you sit on, many 'freedom fighters' have carried out acts that would be deplored and labeled terrorist from other camps. All I know is that attacking Iraq and Afganistan has not destroyed the terrorist threat, as ATA realised terrorism is the weapon of the weak against the strong, they are more mobile, they do not have to be restricted to one location. Anyway, enough poorly written ranting, the thought of those who glorify in death has made me angry.

The Wachowski brothers only fault was that they caved to the appeal of a sequel. Some movies just aren't meant to have sequels. The original Matrix was incredible, I remember watching it years ago and just thinking 'wow'! The sequels were poorly thought out and just a money spinner. I still can;t believe that they attempted to set up more with the poor line of "Oh I dont think we've seen quite the end of Neo yet" from the Oracle in the last scene. Lucas blew what was such a great chance to make some fabulous movies, in the end I can't decide between the two, only that they both made huge errors of judgement.

How receptive are the developers to complaints and suggestions? I agree, being moddable by XML is good news...

I think we all need to be careful in these circumstances, the muslim community as a whole is not to blame for this, that is if this was indeed the work of Jihadis. A huge portion of the Muslim community has cry out against the attacks, two of the bombs hit Muslim dominated area. Well, I'm back from holiday, although I go away for another two weeks on thursday, I'd like to get all of my starting information (character etc.) figured out now. You mentioned the need for Vagaari and Raporan characters in your post answering my questions, the Rapora don't really attract me (something about reptiles maybe...) I couldn't find any info in the encyclopedia regarding the Vagaari though so I have some questions: What do they look like? What are their characteristics, their racial traits as it were: what are they like, traditions, organisation etc? How do they integrate, you mention trying to break free, does that mean they are freedom fighters against the Rapora or is that just a small fraction of them? Any addition info you could give would be great, as soon as I decide what to do I'll PM you my character and what I plan to do...many thanks for you help and time. Posted here as requested...

I was away for the blasts so i'm ok, had a couple of close shaves with my family and friends but everyone I know is safe and well. This attack was inevitiable, a statement made by the security services regarding a possibililty of a bombing, eventually something would get through. I can only commend the dedication and bravery of every member of the emergency services who acted in such a heroic manner, they have done us proud.
