  1. Batman: Arkham Asylum trailer
  2. Yeah, thats why the misses and I decided to cancel our honeymoon plans to Australia (it would be winter when we went).
  3. That was pretty funny.
  4. I really want to see The Wrestler. It looks really good. Im trying to get the misses to see it.
  5. Ahhh, such sweet memories Hmmm, I dont recall that. That must have been during my hiatus. Im sure my sister would do the same if she ever found this site and new I frequented it.
  6. My friend came up last night, and we spent two hours rocking through the campaign for Lord of the Rings Conquest. There are only eight battles, taken right from the movie, with cutscenes from the movie and a narrator (the dude who played Elrond in the movie) to move the game along inbetween battles. After the final level/battle, you unlock the ability to play through a campaign as Sauron's army. After the first level, the next three levels are re-hashes of other levels, as Sauron's army counter-attacks. After that, the rest of the levels are battles at new locations, the final one being Rivendell. I havent finished playing through yet, but so far its a lot of fun to kill the heroes. The online was a lot of fun. Theres one mode called "Capture the Ring" where one player plays as Frodo with the ring, and tries to evade all the other players. Its fun. Definitely worth checking out, and if you dont have the PS3, theres also the 360 and PC versions. If you liked Battlefront and Dynasty Warriors, you will enjoy this game.
  7. Happy B-day LLF!!!
  8. That was awesome Eagle!
  9. Super sweet!!! I guess that explains how they are going to keep Battlefront III fresh (if they ever make it...)
  10. Wow, that was an awesome find Tofu. I had never heard anything about it, and now part of me (a small part, yet still a part) would like to see a few of those episodes. I just cant picture Spidey jumping atop a giant robot to battle giant monsters.
  11. Now we can all use the Force
  12. Sasquatch Attack
  13. For those of you who want to play Lord of the Rings Conquest on the PC, here is a list of the PC requirements.
  14. Flogging Molly (who wrote that song) are such a great band. I got the opportunity to see them earlier this year in concert, and they put on a great show. I just love the sound of Irish punk rock.
  15. Hard to say these days with the weather being so wacky (for example, the last 3 or so years, NYE has been stinking hot at roughly 40 degrees. This NYE was in the low 20's). But July is in our Winter and is often cold. Not too sure how it goes up North - which is hotter for us with the equator being that way and all. The thing with the weather is that the misses doesnt like the cold too much. Like, if we went somewhere tropical it would be no problem. If we went to Europe, theres lots of things to see and do indoors, where you're not out in the cold as much. But with Australia, at least as far as I can see, a lot of it is outdoorsy. Also, one of out main desires is to visit the Great Barrier Reef, and theres no way she'll be wanting to go if its cold.
  16. @K: How is the weather in Australia in June/July? Is it cold?
  17. Thats a nice list there Sinister. Good gifts. I forgot to mention that I rented Hancock last week. I was afraid to see it in the movies, since I was wary of Will Smith as a superhero bum. But the movie was ridiculously awesome. Well, most of it. Im still not sold on his "wife"...that was dumb. But everything else was awesome. Its definitely worth checking out.
  18. Yeah, both Across the Universe and Tropic Thunder were awesome films. We actually got both for Christmas. I just saw Yes Man last night. It was very good. It was kinda like seeing Jim Carry as his old self again. I love his older movies, like Mask, Ace Ventura, and Cable Guy, but a lot of his more recent stuff, like Bruce Almighty and Fun with Dick and Jane, werent that good. Yes Man was hilarious, and I highly recommend everyone see it when given the chance.
  19. Sounds like you had a blast Tofu. I loved it when I went to Islands of Adventure a few years back. Im jealous that you got to go on the Simpsons ride...
  20. Thanks for all the well-wishes guys, and thanks to Tofu for the wise cracks.
  21. So as of the New Year, my girlfriend and I are engaged!!! For those who dont know, we have been seeing each other for five years now. I popped the question tonight, as a gesture of starting a new life for the new year. The only "wedding plan" we know of as of right now is that we are going to be honeymooning in Australia and New Zealand.
  22. Happy New Year al! Im sure some of you may have already celebrated. As for me, its 11:25pm here now, so I gots 25 minutes until the ball drops in NYC.
  23. I was playing around today, and I saw that when you went to another person's profile thingy, there was an option to add as a friend or as a foe. What does this mean?
  24. Yeah, it works good. Basically, on the PS3 controller, triangle, square, and circle are all melee attacks for all the classes (light, medium, and heavy). Then R1 is used for ranged attacks (whether throwing axes, arrows, or magic). By holding L1 and pressing one of the melee attack buttons, you perform your classes special attack (the warrior has a fire sword, archer has special arrows like fire and poison, mage has spells, etc). Like I said, the game worked well online, with everyone running around hacking each other up. I already pre-ordered it through Gamestop since they give you a mini replica of the Witchking's sword which can be used as a letter opener.
