  1. Im just happy that Dooku will be given a larger role than the movies provided for him. Im still bitter over his undeserving quick death in RotS.
  2. That is truly amazing, to find that bunker 60+years later!
  3. Just got back from seeing The Hulk. Was just as great and awesome as Iron Man! The movie didn't waste any time whatsoever with any "origin scenes" and assumes the viewer already knows the Hulk's deal. Its great! Also, the best part about the movie (IMO) was that it was the first one to cross-over with the other Marvel movies. Good stuff. Edit: Forgot to mention that I also saw the preview for the new X-Files movie coming out next month. I am very excited for it because I was a huge fan of the show back in the day when I watched it weekly throughout middle and high school. Though I lost interest in the show when it began to be all "conspiracy theory", and I boycotted it once they replaced Mulder's character with the other guy. But from what I've heard, the movie hearkens back to the older episodes, where its just a random encounter with the unexplainable, and they have to figure out what it is. I dont think there will be too much governmental conspiracy going on in this movie.
  4. Here is the Zoot you may be more familiar with Eagle...
  5. Welcome to being an official member! Ive been around here awhile, and I dont even know what BEAK stands for. All I do know is that it has something to do with correcting spelling and grammar...I think...
  6. Cool Rob Loki looks like my cat Tiger (except for the cyborg eye ). He looks to be an older cat (NOT a kitten); was he adopted from the local animal shelter? Are you going to "adopt" a companion cat so he won't get lonely? My recommendation would be to get another cat, maybe a "blond" colored and name him Thor (to keep Loki in line) We adopted him from Pet Smart, which has an adoption center which is based out of the county's humane society. They said he was about a year old. And thus far, he is living up to his name. But I think one is good for now.
  7. Behold Loki, the newest addition to the Zoot Army
  8. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Detroit Red Wings on beating the ever-living @#$% outta the Pittsburgh Penguins and winning the Stanley Cup! Congrats to the 2007-2008 NHL Champs!!!
  9. We had severe thunderstorm and hail warnings yesterday and today, but its been nothing but sunny. It reached 95F today, and its only early June! I think its gonna be a horrible, hot summer...
  10. I pretty much swore my soul to preach its teachings in exchange for getting me out of seeing the movie. Thus, when I made spaghetti the night we were supposed to go to the movie, the meatballs exploded all over the kitchen, and the misses spent the night cleaning up. Thus, the FSM got me out of going to the movies. And now he owns me...
  11. That's an interesting little find there Eagle.
  12. I have Call of Duty 2 for the PS2. Its a fun game. I like the Call of Duty series.
  13. All I know is that she is gonna try her damn best to get on Obama's ticket as VP. I hope he's not that stupid. He should go with Edwards, who endorsed him awhile ago. I wouldn't put it past Hillary to "off" Obama during his term so that she could take his place. She's pure evil, and way to power-hungry to be running the nation.
  14. The Almighty FSM Im pretty sure Tofu posted the link many moons ago in the randomness thread, but since Eagle asked, he shalt receive.
  15. All I can say is that I dont need to see to believe.
  16. The misses tried to drag me to see Sex and the City. I protested, and luckily I won. I thank the all-powerful FSM for saving me from that absolute evil!
  17. It will indeed be a national holiday when Hillary announces that she is dropping out. Unfortunately, I don't think its an official stance by her yet. She still sees herself in the running. Grrr...she makes me so mad. But I gotta agree with E on the whole Obama inexperience thing. He has not served the federal government for anywhere near as long as McCain has.
  18. Of course it rained on Saturday when I moved, so we had to try and keep the furniture and whatnot as dry as possible. Other than that, the past few days have been warm and sunny up here.
  19. No worries guys. The move went fine and the new place is mad awesome. However, I am pleased to report that the misses and I have turned to the dark side. We will be going out tonight to adopt one of Zoot's minions.
  20. I tend to post a lot of random stuff that is happening to me in RL here on the forums. So in that sense, this is my last night at my parents house! The trucks are loaded up, and tomorrow the misses and I head up to the capital city of NY to begin the next chapter in our lives. We spent the entire day getting our stuff together in boxes and whatnot (I am quite the procrastinator) and have packed them into the moving truck and our cars. All I know is that tomorrow is gonna be rough...
  21. I think it said it took him several months to complete it. Next years Halloween costume
  22. I saw that yesterday on joystick.com. That is pretty amazing that someone can do that.
  23. I saw Indiana Jones tonight. I thought it was rather good. My biggest problem (and by biggest I mean most horrible) is the first thing Tofu mentioned in his hidden post. Otherwise, I thought it was decent. There were some stupid funny moments, but those have to be expected these days. For some reasons, directors feel that these ridiculously horrible scenes are enjoyed by everyone, when it is just a mimic to get kids to get their parents into it. As is already known, the movie takes place about 20 years or so after the trilogy leaves off, which puts it on during the Cold War. Personally, I thought the movie had a really good "Cold War era" feel to it, in the way the characters acted and what was going on in the movie, much like the original trilogy was engrossed in a WWII backdrop. All in all, I was pleased. Honestly, I had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Aside from the huge problem already mentioned, and the handful of stupid silly scenes, the movie was pretty good. @Sinister: Both great ideas. Personally, I always liked the Spear of Destiny, and thought it would be a great artifact for an Indy movie.
  24. That is quite gross. There aren't too many bug infestations up by me. If anything, we have ants come out every spring, but that only lasts a week or two.
  25. It looks decent. I'll definitely be checking it out come August.
