  1. You should. Tampa Bay has a pretty crack team this year. They revamped the team over the summer and acquired a couple of big name key players, and they also have this season's #1 rookie draft pick. They are definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with this season. They have already beat the Rangers (my team) twice this week in the pre-season, and on Oct. 4th and 5th the two teams are facing each other in Prague. Its pretty intense.
  2. I did not catch that. I dont think I got to any trophy room yet.
  3. I liked how they added ol' Garm into it. It will be interesting to see the split between him and the Alliance (if the game goes into it). What I didnt like was the inclusion of yet another Gungan. Although it was fun to shock the heck out of him. I love the smell of fried Gungan in the morning...
  4. The ratio is 1:1 I believe.
  5. @Eagle: The NHL is taking on Eisbaren Berlin
  6. So I wanted to start talking about the storyline of the game, so if you dont want to know it, dont look. I got to the point where Vader "betrays" Starkiller at the Emperor's bidding. First off, this reminds me very much of Shadows of the Empire. Vader and the Emperor both have spies that are running around, spying on the other one. Plus Vader is planning on betraying the Emperor with Starkiller, like he planned to do with Luke in Shadows. Also, I totally didnt expect Vader to be a factor in the formation of the Alliance. Mind you, I havent gotten further in the story, so I dont know what Starkiller's interaction with the Rebels will be, but the fact that Vader encouraged him to form the Rebels is a bit ridiculous. Still, the story is very nice, and I like it alot. I look forward to getting more into it, and getting to the ending to see what happens. I am anticipating a battle with either Vader or the Emperor (or both) in the end.
  7. Yeah, the story, cutscenes, and voice-acting are all wonderfully done. I dont consider the gameplay redundant because in any game you will have to kill a bunch of baddies as you progress through a level. There's just so many ways to kill the stormies, that it never gets old. You can cut them up, shock them, choke them, toss them, hurl stuff at them...and theres more ways than what I mentioned. Im telling you,I am not at all disappointed with the Wii version. And as I think I already mentioned, the Wii version is the only one with a two-player duel mode, which is fun.
  8. I dont no. I have never tried it before. I dont know if the number of missions will effect the results of the real mission. I dont believe it does, but like I said, Im not sure.
  9. I agree with you AI. In the first two seasons, he never had this desire to be like the others, with powers. He was happy and content doing what he thought was right. But now, he is a changed man. I guess its sort of a lust for power. He has seen what everyone else does, and I given the opportunity, he did what he had to in order to gain powers also. These powers have totally changed him, physically and mentally, and nothing good will come of it, Im sure.
  10. I hearby resurrect this thread in the name of how awesome the season premier was tonight!!! I missed the show, and the two-hour season premier was absolutely awesome and stunning.
  11. I think that you are right Eagle...that guy is both crazy and cool. Hope he makes the trip.
  12. Im not a fan of Michael Moore. I think he is an annoying piece of crud who really should stop making movies.
  13. Yeah, I was sad when I found out at the end of the day that it had been Talk Like A Pirate Day. I went through a whole day of work without uttering "yar". It was very sad.
  14. HAHAHA!!! I would have been dying to post that too. Personally, I dont have a problem with Ewoks. I dont think they ruined RotJ at all. Now Gungans are a different story entirely...
  15. I really missed the site being down the past few days. I hope all is well now.
  16. I got my hands on the game Saturday. I have the Wii version. Its very fun. The controls work well for the Wii. One of my biggest concerns in Wii games is the camera, which is handled well with the directional. No complaints here. Lightsaber attacks are simple flicks of the wrist, waving about the Wiimote. As for Force powers, Lightning and Choke are assigned to two buttons on the Nunchuck controller, and thrusting the Nunchuck forward will produce Force Push. You can also use gained experience points to upgrade these powers, and make awesome combos. One combo is to use Lightning to shock an enemy, and then use Push to shove him towards other enemies, electrocuting everyone. You can also use Choke to lift an enemy up, and then finish him off by hurling your lightsaber at him. I only played through two levels so far, but as I said, thus far I love it. The story is interesting, with Vader finding a child and raising him as his secret apprentice. I only wonder at how the game will eventually end. What becomes of this secret apprentice to Darth Vader who we have never heard about before? I look forward to playing through and finding out.
  17. test Edit: OMG THE FORUMS ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Like Tofu said, just because you're fleet arrives does not mean you get access to complete information. You will have to do another espionage mission to be 100% accurate about the units on that planet. As for the second question, that information is also partially accurate. Since the mission is foiled, you agent does not have the ability to get complete information to you.
  19. I might try giving the game a rent on the Wii over the weekend.
  20. Well thats a different story. For instance, sometimes I would take my fleet to a planet, and bombard all the troops so there were none left. Then I would send my personnel on my fleet down on one-man missions to sabotage and abduct anything that was still there. This was an easy way to boost stats. So I suppose that if you know the enemy has no troops stationed on the planet, it is ok to send in one-man teams with no decoys.
  21. You should always use decoys when doing a mission to an opponent's planet. The thing with decoys is that they provide "cover" for the mission. Decoys reduce the chance of the mission be foiled, and sometimes, the decoys can be the ones who get captured, but the real agent doing the mission will remain safe. So yeah, always use decoys when on an enemy planet.
  22. I guess I will go and explain the most basic of plots to those interested. Highlight it if you want. The story is basically this. Dooku and the Separatists kidnap Jabba the Hutt's son. Their intention is to have him killed, and then blame the Jedi. At the same time, the Jedi go out searching for Jabba's son, because if they can rescue him they will win Jabba's favor. The point is that Jabba controls a vast territory of space, and apparently the Republic is not powerful enough to force their way through, so they need his permission to travel though space. Dooku eventually convinces Jabba that the Jedi did kidnap and plan to execute his son, so he gets angry. Anywho, Anakin eventually finds Jabbas son and rescues, and then him and his apprentice run around with the "Huttling" and fight against Ventress and Dooku. Oh yeah, and Padme is thrown in there as she contacts Jabba's uncle in an attempt to get him to talk to Jabba on the Jedi's behalf. She gets kidnapped eventually, but escapes. So yeah, thats the most basic plot of the movie. Its all about saving Jabba's son so that the Jedi can get his permission to travel through the portion of space he controls. Pretty retarded.
  23. I remember that show Guts. However, my dream show to be on was Legends of the Hidden Temple. Now that was an intense series of athletic activities.
  24. Hey, if Tex survived the Ice Age, I think he can survive Hurricane Ike.
  25. Yeah. In middle and high school I wore a size 11 1/2 or 12 shoe, and eventually I dropped down to a size 10 1/2, which I have today. I think I must have liked really big shoes when I was younger. Maybe I thought it was cooler. I dont know why I did that. Its just weird.
