  1. The Ataris- My Reply
  2. I have never heard a reference to the Whills before, but I never read past Vision of the Future. As for Yoda, I have often wondered what race he is. I believe that in TPM, one of the floating Senate seats represents a group of Yoda-looking aliens (though different skin color), which leads me to believe that Yoda's home planet is a populated system that accepted the Republic (unless of course that those aliens I spotted were not related to Yoda's race).
  3. That is true. Rule by force can only last for so long. The population must want you in order to allocate resources to where they are more needed (ie- troops as garrisons).
  4. Green Day- Warning Albulm
  5. You should give them a try. I purchased Blood Omen 2 for $15 used from F.Y.E., and I got SoulReaver for only $2.99 at Electronics Botique. That was a steal! But I highly recommend them. Its just so fun running around, hacking people with a sword and then sucking their blood from 20 feet away!
  6. I usually have a diplomat visit all the systems in a sector until they are all about 85-90% loyal. Then I resend him around to increase it all to 100%. Then I send him to the next system.
  7. Cold- Year of the Spider albulm
  8. You have to lower the raw material cost to produce it.
  9. I like Valorum_Kore's idea about a Space Balls game. That would be sweet. -May the Swartz is with you!
  10. Rollercoaster- Blink-182
  11. Has anyone else ever played the Blood Omen series for the PS? Its this sweet vampire game, where you play as 2 characters. The first is Kain, a vampire that runs around hacking up monsters and townsfolk and sucking their blood from a distance so that it comes flying across the screen. Its a really neat. Then theirs The Soul Reaver, this crazy ex-vampire who now steals peoples souls to live (rather than blood). Its a real sweet game with a compelling storyline. I think theres 5 games in the series.
  12. Yeah, I also always assumed that the "Clone Wars" would have referred to a clone army attacking the Republic or something. I never would have thought that the clones were fighting for the Republic.
  13. I never sat down and watched any of the tv series (though I think my mom does). But I did love the original movie. That was sweet.
  14. Sugarcult- Start Static albulm
  15. I love all 6 Star Wars movies. Sure, as being a huge fan of the expanded universe, I had things to say about the prequels. I had my fair share of complaints, but I still loved them. The Matrix is a bit different. I loved the first one. It was so great, and I couldnt wait for the sequels. But when they came out, I said, "what the hell?!". They just plain sucked so bad. I mean, the sequels were sooo different than the first movie. The Wakowski Brothers really dropped the ball in my opinion. And by the way, I really hated the whole underground/dance scene in Matrix Reloaded. Bigger waste of time than the pod race.
  16. Well, I just saw it last night. I thought it definetly was a great Marvel movie. The Fantastic 4 were awesome, and the actors who played them were great! The storyline was good and moved along at a perfect speed. My only qualm was with Doctor Doom. I feel that they didn't give him enough credit, making him a weaker character. Like, I could look at him and say, "I cant see this as Doctor Doom", which is the complete oppisite for the superheroes, who were all played great. But it definetly was on the same level as Spider-Man and X-Men.
  17. Less Than Jake- Goodbye Blue & White albulm
  18. I wouldn't go that far...
  19. I finally saw the movie last night. I enjoyed it thourghly. It was a great alien invasion film, on the same level as Independence Day. It was definetly worth the wait, and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't yet had the chance to check it out.
  20. I think that both Winter and Boba Fett look great!
  21. Krytos said: Don't forget that Obi-Wan is now a Jedi Master, inferring large growth as a Jedi, and more importantly he trained Anakin. Who better to know his fighting style than his master? And who better to be a real challenge? True, but do you think that Obi Wan would have had the power to exterminate the Jedi in the temple? The dark side gave Anakin great physical strength and savagery, both dangerous powers. I do agree that Obi Wan would know Anakin's fighting style, but at the same time, Anakin would know Obi Wans. I just feel that Anakin was a better fighter and possessed a greater power with the Force, and was more than a match for Obi Wan.
  22. The Ataris- So long, Astoria albulm
  23. That is so true. Anakin proves to be a powerful dueler with Dooku (plus he elimanates countless Jedi in the temple), but when he faces Obi Wan, he is defeated. The only reasoning I can think is that he is confused and devastated by seeing Padme "betray" him to Obi Wan, and to having to fight his mentor.
  24. Yeah, the Joker was crazy in BatMan 1. But I thought it was funny when he started shooting that one guy while dancing and humming. He shot him like 20 times or something!
  25. In my opinion, while Maul was cool in his way, I believe that Dooku was cooler and bad asser (if thats a word). Palpatine would have turned Dooku eventually anyway, and the two of them would have had to duke it out to see who would be the better apprentice. Wait! That would have been a sweet addition! Showing the battle between Maul & Dooku to see who would be Palpatine's apprentice. That would have been a sweet duel!
