  1. Can't say that I've ever had that problem.
  2. For one thing, I don't entirely believe in the whole Roswell conspiracy theory. It's just a load of bull that "true believers" swear to. Its their bit of "evidence" they need in order to "believe". But I do believe that there are other galaxies out there. We just have to discover the way to get to them.
  3. And there is no freakin way of even guessing. Every alien race would look different based upon the environmental factors of the home planet (atmospheric composition, abundance of certain elements, etc).
  4. That is a very good point. We are just peons to an advanced alien race that has mastered intergalatic travel, and just happened to pass us over. In fact, wasn't that how "First Contact" in the Star Trek universe was? That if a human hadn't mastered rocket science, then the Romulans (the big eared guys, I think) would have passed the earth over, thinking it inferior and unworthy?
  5. I dont know. I was a fool and kept it as an on-going poll. If only it could stop now, with the Supreme Galatic Emperor as the inevitable winner...
  6. I also believe that there is other life out there. I feel that it is nieve to think that we can be the only planet in the universe capable of supporting intelligent life.
  7. Just out of curiosity (seeing how we are all devoted scifi fans), who believes that there is other life in the universe, in other galaxies and the like?
  8. "Bring us shrubbery!"
  9. My God, how do you guys stumble upon such an odd treasure-trove of useless yet addicting material???
  10. That was by far one of the weirder ones I have seen. But I did enjoy the cameo of the "Buddy Christ"...
  11. But the Christians saw the Muslims as "infidels". They were not "human" to the Christians, because they had different beliefs, so they did not see a big deal in waging war against them in God's name.
  12. I agree. Evil is a very powerful force to be reckoned with. Palpy would crush Yoda like a green grape from your grocer's produce section.
  13. I must agree with Mad. Some people def. have waaaaaay too much time on their hands. But still worth a laugh.
  14. That is probably a very good bet.
  15. That was definetly interesting. But I had to cut it short after Michael grabbed Bowser...
  16. Perhaps I am "agnostic", seeing how I am in a confused state right now, not knowing what to believe...
  17. Well, there IS the "Star Wars Holiday" movie thingy. And there is the animated seaosns of "Ewoks" and "Droids", though those aren't really movies. But I remember watching them like 10 years ago on SciFi channel early in the morning. Note- rented Spirited Away based on peoples comments, and must agree that is was very good.
  18. I was just wondering what "Agnostic" was. I am unfamiliar with the term.
  19. I highly disliked Shrek. I thought the first one to be retarted, and I refused to attempt to watch the second one. In my opinion, you're better off with a Disney film.
  20. Wait a minute. I lied. I didnt start this topic. I started the other one, about Yoda vs Palpy. D'oh!
  21. No, I didn't put a time limit on.
  22. Never heard a peep about it.
  23. Wow I thought Dooku was a great, GREAT character, I still have to go with my man Palpy. The Galatic Emperor is just so powerful and awesome. I love how he played the whole galaxy into a civil war just to create a tyrannical empire with him at the helm. Simply great.
  24. I am going through odd times now. I was brought up a practicing Christian, but am currently having a difficult time believing in a religion that makes no sense when science makes so much more sense. I suppose Im becoming more of a skeptic. But I must say that I do believe in the moral teachings of Christianity, about being "nice", living a good life, blah blah blah. I personally have a good set of morals (in my opinion), and would like my future children to honor the same morals. I must also say that I am totally against the church, of any religion. You do not have to sit in a great meeting place with a bunch of other people, repeating the same thing at the same time like a bunch of programmed robots, just to practice your faith. If you believe in a higher power, you do not need to go to a special place to be with Him/Her, they would be everywhere at all times. You could "pray" at home, work, on the street, during a bus ride, whenever. The church in unneccessary to any religion.
  25. Likewise.
