  1. I think it's been mentioned before, but the fact that Dooku was so strong may have been reason why Palpatine allowed Anakin to defeat him. Also, one reason that Anakin defeated Dooku was because Dooku was taken aback by the treachery of his master (not because Anakin's powers "doubled"). And as for the "size matters not", I agree with that totally. The size of a Jedi master does not determine his level connection to the Force. Palpatine just plained owned on Yoda, having been holding back his powers for years, waiting for the right moment to strike. I think that Yoda could take out, say, Qui Gon and Mace Windu in battle, and they're mad taller than him. But Palpatine was just waiting too long, and was not going to let some green shrivled munchkin ruin his plans for galatic domination.
  2. Just look at that pic of him and Texan Han. He's smirking!!!
  3. I was doing a search for Rebellion, looking for cheat codes and the like. I came upon here, found and downloaded RebEd (fulfilled my cheat code desires more than I could ever imagine), and then just loved having a nice place to sit back and talk about Star Wars and other junk with other Star Wars fans.
  4. I always thought Chewie made an execellent Sasquatch, except that his face was a tad too friendly.
  5. Thank the maker there are Dooku fans here! Lucas def. cheated him out of his greatness. In all truthfullness, I liked Dooku a lot better than Maul. And I STILL think that Grevious was a waste of time for ROS. Dooku would have made short work of that four-armed freak.
  6. The WWF thing is great! I laughed when the WWF had to change it's name. So awesome!
  7. It would be interesting to see Chewie slinging a shotgun or six-shooter rather than a bowcaster.
  8. I beg to differ! Count Dooku was the man. He was a regal, cool, collected fighter who's lightsaber combat style was just great. He was a truely professional duelist, and could have taken almost any Jedi in a one on one duel. He was such a great character, and I was very upset when he was gyped in Episode III. He should have taken the place of General Grevious (a pointless character in my opinion). I am (and always will be) a Palpy man, but Dooku was pretty kick butt too.
  9. Security?! Quality of life??!! Then why the heck was NYC at 52?!
  10. Ah. I see. Congrats on winning the race, then.
  11. I hope you charge rent.
  12. Lapping?
  13. My bad . Thanks for the history lesson
  14. D'oh! My home state is in the 50's! What was the ranking based on?
  15. Seeing how I have never seen (or heard) of any of those movies (aside from Star Wars), I would have to say that his acting sucked so bad that he sucked the entire movie into oblivion, dragging it down with him, kicking and screaming.
  16. Last I heard, local Scotish wizards cast a protective spell over Nessie, to aid their underwater ally.
  17. Damn you, you walking dictionary!
  18. Very cool! Now if only Nessie would rise from the depths of the Locke...
  19. From the movie, but I don't recall it as a quote from the novel.
  20. He's nothing but banta fodder.
  21. Welcome!
  22. I dont think he's gonna get much better!
  23. I was wondering what everyone had in way of home entertainment systems (excluding PC's), and what they advanced to as the years gave way to new technology. Here's mine: -NES -Game Boy -Sega -Game Gear -Playstation -Playstation 2 -Game Boy SP
  24. I always got a similar impression. I think they spend all their money on some "magic plants" that help them "see all the shades of the color spectrum".
  25. Many scenes with him could have been considered "crappiest scene".
