  1. Okay. You're not gonna like this.... Find the pictures of SD7 and IMP22/R2D2 and C-3P0. Save them, and determine their pixel dimensions. Using Microsoft Paint/Photoshop/whatever, load the strategy palette if you need to and turn C-3PO's pixel size to IMP22's and vice versa. Do the same thing for SD7 and R2D2. Save these as a bitmap. Go into Albrief, alsprite, embrief and emsprite and replace the IMP22 pics with the new C-3PO ones, etc. Now you have a choice: If you want your agent to be animated, to move like in the regular rebellion game, I have no clue how to do this. Hopefully Mask or someone on the reloaded team can tell us how to animate the agents, since I think Rebellion Reloaded will have animated advisors. If you don't mind an unanimated agent (a still picture), then you can see my topic here http://www.swrebellion.com/forums/postt2506.html and it will guide you through the next step. Take note that using this tutorial, you can use any picture you want, so long as it has the right palette
  2. hm...not really.
  3. Happy Birthday! How old are you now?
  4. Dooku would have filled it in. He had already gained the trust of the separatist leaders, so he would be in a good position to kill them. As you said, the clones would kill the "on the field" Jedi, which basically leaves us down to Mace Windu, Yoda, and Obi-Wan. Without Anakin to work with, Palpy (as a chancellor) could send Windu to the planet where the leaders were holed up (before Mustafar) instead of Obi-Wan. He'd then send Dooku to meet up with Grievous. Together, they ambush and defeat Windu. That leaves us with Yoda and Obi-Wan. At this point, Palpatine sends Obi-Wan to Mustafar to capture the Separatist leaders. Dooku is already there, and either convinced Grievous to betray the leaders and work with him, or just stab him in the back and then kill the other leaders. Either way Obi-Wan won't walk away from that encounter. Now Palpy declares Order 66, offs the remaining Jedi, turns any stragglers into traitors with his declaration of power speech, and confronts and defeats Yoda in the hall. The worst part is that he doesn't have anyone to throw him down the shaft.
  5. open the bitmap file of Albrief and Embrief and save the bitmap. Adjust the file size, and reload all the files. Probably more trouble than its worth
  6. I remember reading some of them when I was a lot younger, like 12 or so. The only one that I really liked, and I liked it better than the prequel trilogy, admittedly, was Shadows of the Empire.
  7. I was just wondering what the male/female ratio on this site is. Dinochick is the only female member that I know of, so lets see if there are any others.
  8. Hapan Battledragon is up, if thats the same thing
  9. The way I see it, even the Holiday Special is canon. Heck, even the Ewok Adventures is Canon. If Lucas's company approves it and doesn't say its not in continuity, then I suppose it is. However, the "Who is strongest" debate here is taken only from the movies, that way everyone is on the same page and you don't miss a crucial fact if you didnt read Dark Tide Rising or something from the Vong books (are those any good, btw?)
  10. I wouldn't disagree with that. Theres a whole bunch of stuff in the EU, Novelizations of movies, and other things that can say a lot. However, I'm talking about who wins only in context of the movies. If we get into the EU, novelizations, etc, then Palpatine in his clone body would probably destroy anyone this side of Exar Kun
  11. It might work. I'd say try it and see
  12. Sure. Its in either the common.dll or gokres.dll files, not sure which. You can change it, but you cant make the Empire side button start a game with the rebels.
  13. yeah. Just make a black picture, 400x200 (use the correct palette) and go with that. Or if you really dont care about the events, just leave them as they are
  14. Rebellion 2 isnt a real game thats coming out. This is a "what-if" topic where people talk about what they would like to see if one was really in the works. At this point, the closest we're going to get is Empire at War, which may or may not be like Rebellion
  15. I agree to that in some respects. If you were to ask "Who is the most effective Sith Lord?" then Palpy wins by a mile. If you ask who the stronger fighter is, then I'd say Dooku can edge out. In a battle where they are both facing off (like Dooku vs. Yoda on Geonosis or Yoda Vs. Palpy on Coruscant) I'd say Dooku can win because the emperor can't manipulate his way out of it. But Palpy is a better Sith Lord and Yoda is a better Jedi because they're smarter, not necessarily because they're stronger
  16. Anakin said something like "As Wise as master Yoda and as Powerful as Master Windu." I wonder if that could be construed to mean that Windu could beat Yoda in a straight up fight. It wouldn't surprise me. They both lost to Palpy, and if we're to believe that Palpy wasn't pretending to lose(which is debatable either way), then Windu is definately stronger than Yoda. If we're to believe that he was pretending, then we know that he didn't use his full power on Windu, but we have no idea how that would have went anyway. What we do know is that Palpy barely broke a sweat vs. Yoda, so judging only from the movies, we can probably say that Windu is either as strong or stronger than Yoda. Thats in terms of fighting prowess though. Windu doesn't anticipate deception, while Yoda does. In fact, had it been Yoda in the Windu vs. Palpy fight and Windu in the Yoda vs. Palpy fight, theres a good chance Palpy would lose. So then, if the above is true (which is all debatable as its just conjecture), we can say that Palpy/Yoda/Dooku/Windu were all of about the same ability in a fair fight. To narrow that down to two, Palpy used trickery to get rid of the two who were most vulnerable to deception.
  17. Go into the strategy.dll file and replace all the pictures in the bmp folder dealing with the events, and the sounds dealing with them, too
  18. It occured to me that diplomacy is one of the most important missions in the game, second only to sabotage in my opinion. It also appears that, next to "Jedi Training" and "Recruitment", it is the only mission that you can't give to special forces. To that end, is there some way to allow special forces to use Diplomacy missions?
  19. On Yoda being old, I think that he and Dooku were proportionally the same age. Also, just as Anakin and Obi knew each other's moves on Mustafar, I think Dooku knew most of Yoda's as well, and thats why the Great Frog technique didn't work very well. Judging only from what we've seen in the movies, I think Dooku could have taken Yoda in a fresh fight
  20. Its possible but it takes work. You'd need to use Rebed to switch all the empire's cards to the rebel side and vice versa. It would mean that you would have to change all the events, drop 2 alliance characters (try Han and Mothma) and then add 2 Empire "Main" characters (Thrawn and someone else. Piett)
  21. I admit its confusing. I'll let psych speak for himself, but what I'm saying is essentially.... Catholics beleive that you have to go to mass, take communion, believe in and accept Jesus, and confess your sins to get to heaven. Thats why suicide is always a one-way ticket to Hell with them, because you can't repent when you're dead. Protestants believe you merely have to love and accept Jesus into your heart to get to heaven, but apparently different denominations have different ideas on what that entails. Mormons are similar. Like you said, they all intersect in various ways, but thats pretty much the core beliefs, I think. Kaja is Catholic if I remember right, so maybe he could shed some light. By the way, Tofu; its "Toguro Ani", not Togunari. If you want, you can call me Toguro or Ani, your call.
  22. The things "at the core" of a religion are often debatable too. No one misunderstood you, we just heard what you have to say and disagree with you. Let me explain: At the core of catholics: Belief in and worship of the Holy Trinity, the taking of communion, and the confession system. Some of these are not found in the bible, yet are at the core of the system. In fact, the idea that a person must confess to a human mediator goes against a core value of Protestant and Mormon Christianity. Does this mean that they aren't Christian? Of course not, thats absurd. The Catholics have their own explanation for why these things are necessary, and they are integrated into the religion. Protestants: Note that this is the broadest due to the sheer number of denominations, but most will agree that you only need to accept Jesus into your heart to get into Heaven. This is against what the Catholics believe, and the Jews, who use the Old Testament believe, but they believe in the authenticity of the New Testament and nothing that comes after. Does that make them not Christian? Of course not. Mormons are the same. They believe that the book of Mormon is canon, love and worship Jesus, but believe an additional book is Canon. Psych judged them to be nonchristian because he believed that they were only worshipping Christ to get to heaven. This may or may not be true. Psych does not believe them to be Christian, and he is unapologetic for it. Jesus said "Judge not lest you be judged." Psych has clearly judged Mormons, believers in Christ, to be non-christian. Does not following the exact phrases of the Bible but still believing in Jesus make him non-Christian? Of course not.
