  1. First thing you want to do is figure out what to search for. Here I'm looking for screenshots from Reloaded I posted... "Rebellion Reloaded" site:swrebellion.com Type this into the search of http://www.google.com http://www.yahoo.com http://www.msn.com Look through the Cached pages to see if what you want is there. If you find a site URL, you can also try searching there "www.swrebellion.com/article206.html" site:swrebellion.com Most of the news posts were resurrected this way. Anything you see missing, let me know
  2. I did go through and resurrect all the news posts I could find on the search engine cache. We still have the files, so it is on the news just fine now
  3. We do not support any illegal copies or warez. Unfortunately LucasArts is not selling it at their store You can still look for used copy of Rebellion at: http://www.ebay.com your local game store used bin
  4. Locked. Sorry we don't support any kind of warez here
  5. Thanxs for calling me a dunce... *shrugs* - I'm just doing the job that Stratus did. I'm still trying to figure out why we didn't have active backups in place. Whatever was recovered did not have the complete backup. Notice what you had was all of 3 MB. I had to restore the backups from April, which were nearly 280 MB of files. Cain, send me your current email and I'll set you back up
  6. Well its not new, but I will try and fix the gallery when I get a chance
  7. Sorry guys... explaination for the downtime and server reset Good news though, this forum is running Simplemachines 1.1 RC3 now. Which means better protection against spam accounts, as well as many other issues fixed such as posting the words feedback
  8. Zahn's characterizations aren't bad. But what he does do well is plot, esp running multiple storylines and merging them together. Given that the Thrawn trilogy really started off things, I can't say anything bad about the books... haven't read them in a while.
  9. I've not seen any earlier evidence of Padme's survival. Lucas didn't say too much of the subject until Ep 3 came around. Dagobah was the hiding place for Dark Jedi, after being chased across the galaxy. It is assumed their death released a lot of Dark Side energy around the planet.
  10. X-Wing books are novels. Tales of Jabba's Palace is a collection of short stories. I think the X-Wing books are more relevant to the Expanded Universe, but take your pick..
  11. It's not a direct sequel, since Cavedog doesn't exist anymore. But the creator is making a spirtual sequel... Supreme Commander will rock. And for anyone interested in TA, I recommend checking out the Star Wars mod for it http://www.planetannihilation.com/swta/ and its own "sequel" of sorts.. the Star Wars: Spring project. TA in a true 3D-controllable environment
  12. Pipe Dream is definitely my favorite. But all of them are quite awesome.
  13. Sounds like you would have to change the structure of the game to support different levels of information. Not receiving direct updates when you click a planet, rather what it looked like since you last spied it. (Rebellion anyone?)
  14. It runs on Windows XP just fine
  15. My lord! You guys spam too much!
  16. The whole "How to destroy the Earth" article that goes with it ain't bad either http://qntm.org/destroy
  17. http://qntm.org/board I think they're serious.. its scary http://qntm.org/files/board/current.png

    Books

SSN is a fiction book, but not involving Jack Ryan. It involves the a nuclear submarine... an SSN.
  20. Willow becomes Star Wars canon! http://www.starwars.com/databank/updates/401/character/thorndrumheller/
  21. Would be nice if that link worked ..
  22. Hit Forums (above ^) -> Profile
  23. Total Annihilation is probably one of the best RTS games. While it is quite old now, the huge amount of units and the activity of the modding community made it quite a cool game with endless possibilities. Using a innovative (for its time) 3D engine, you could have robots fighting on the ground, in the air, and on the oceans. While its single player was not strong or as polished as Starcraft, I felt it provided a lot more to the player than the stale Starcraft tactics. Red Alert is still one of my favorites. The gameplay and story was fantasic.. and I'm always a favorite of Fullmotion video cutscenes (FMV). Red Alert 2 and its addon were quite fun to play. Superweapons made multiple player sorta cheesy, but it was still fun. I also recommend Homeworld and its sequel Homeworld 2. It's a strategy game taken to 3D space. It is quite fun and the graphics are just awesome. Relic, having done Homeworld and working on Company of Heroes, also did a strategy game Dawn of War. It is quite good (though the single player was short for me) - based in the world of Warhammer 40K So none of those are technically really 'World War 2' games. But there are a lot of good strategy games if you're willing to go outside a specific genre. How many times can you revisit the same WW2 events anyway?
  24. Yes - someone blows up! (kidding, kidding.. hehe) And of course, Natalie Portman raps. (to go back on topic..)
  25. Well I think they're all out of ideas after.. more Darth characters, aliens from another galaxy, bug aliens...
