  1. Ok, I've got some sites that people may want to check out. The first three are for info (name of the vessel and some facts) on particular warships: Asset Tracking: http://www.ic.sunysb.edu/stu/dwongfau/nrtracking/index.php Complete guide to Star Destroyers: http://www.hyperjump.net/swguides/sdguide/sdguide.html Complete guide to Mon Cals: http://www.hyperjump.net/swguides/mcguide/mcguide.html For RPG stats (warships and fighters mainly): http://members.tripod.com/dex_10/index.html http://www.iaw.on.ca/~btaylor1/index.html Just general ship info: http://frankg.dgne.com/swsv/index.shtml/ For basically any information on Star Wars: http://www1.theforce.net/CUSWE/ That's about it for now
  2. Yeah, I've seen it - it's not bad as a Sci-Fi flick where things go boom in space - but disappointing from perspective of the Wing Commander game series It's always sad when a classic dies
  3. Ok, finely after a long period of time the hunt is over The elusive Series 4 E-Wing has been found, hiding within the many pages of Star by Star . . . hmmm perhaps a little too dramatic? Anyway, here it is: Not much – but at least it confirms it’s existence – if there’s anymore mentions in the novel, I’ll post them P.S. After looking over theforce.nets unofficial encyclopedia and there listing of 2 Series 4 E-Wings, I’m pretty sure from the definition one of them should be the Series 3 E-Wing.
  4. I also agree, both the X-Wing series and New Jedi Order series are - at least in my opinion - the best Star Wars novel series. They had a great way of captivating the reader, creating new characters that were very likable, great battle scenes, lots of thought put into how sides react etc.
  5. Favourite character - that's easy: Wedge Antillies Why? Because he's probably the best pilot in the galaxy, and NOT a jedi or force sensitive (all skill ), he helped blow up both Death Stars and the list goes on. Later he becomes a great strategist as a general, especially during the New Jedi Order against the Yuuzhan Vong Other favourites, hmmmm. Well there's Kell Tainer- because he's funny, skillful and well he gets to play with explosives:D
  6. Hey Mad78, bad news I'm affraid. Star Wars.com just put the Ebon Hawk in its database and listed manufacturer as unknown Though, they kinda gave a little hint to it's manufacturer: So, I'd say it safe to call it Corellian if they were truelly basing it off the Millennium Falcon - especially with it's shape and being a modular freighter
  7. Nope, not human I'm affraid - infact http://www.starwars.com lists her species as unknown I thought you would have noticed the extra long fingers
  8. Yeah, I read Enemy Lines first because I was pretty sure that was where I read of the illusive series 4 E-Wing, figured it would have been with Blackmoon squadron - but I was wrong So now I've jumped backwards to read Star by Star. Plus I'm a really bad reader - I either skim over the book or I read it thoroughly and take for ever. That and generally the only time I read is when I watch TV Can get confusing when you're watching 24
  9. Thanks, I'll need it - Star by Star is just over 600 pages long
  10. Ok, update on my hunt for the series 4 E-Wing. I've just finished reading the two books from the Enemy Lines series and whilst the E-Wing was present there wasn't anything about a series 4 or any series at that That being said, I'm starting Star by Star, which is where theforce.nets unofficial encyclopedia said it was first seen So hopefully, assuming I'm not enticed to read the book again rather than skim it, I'll be back with results soon
  11. Yeah, I reaaalllllyyyy hope there's a capital ship naval battle in Episode 3 Also, episode 2 has the ground battle on Genosis - like the battle of Hoth
  12. Wow - almost two pages al by your selves!! You truelly are the SPAM masters I totally agree, space battles rock. That's why I love playing either Rebellion (well, there's more to it then just space battles) and the Warlords mod for Homeworld 2, great space battles with great graphics
  13. I've always liked the Corvette, infact pretty much anything Corellian, though it's too weak and doesn't have any real punch to it - personlly I prefer the Corellian Gunship. Interesting fact, the Corellian Gunship's design was originally going to be used instead of the Corvette - though they didn't because it looking too much like some other ship from another movie, don't remember what
  14. Led Zepplin - Kashmir
  15. Ok, I've done a quick 5 minute job for your first request in C++ - though it's only a console app and there's no actual GUI (I've got no idea how to do GUI) The other thing is . . . how do I get it to you? If you want I can post the code, it's only a bit over 10 lines. If you don't have a compiler, give me your email address and I'll send you the exe which is 512 kb
  16. hmmm . . . tough call. I've always liked the ISD, and the Mon Cal cruiser (preferably the Wingless design) - but my real favourite cruiser isn't in the movies: Defender class Star Destroyer So, I'm gonna have to vote for the ISD
  17. I've been doing a search for the Eban Hawk - more to the point what type of ship it is. I've been doing it for about and hour or two and havn't found a thing From looks, I'd say Corellian ~ it has the off side cockpit, basic shape of a YT series ship etc
  18. Hmm, seeing there's no E-Wing I've voted for my second favourite/old favourite - the B-Wing
  19. I had the same problem, but after a while of looking I found it. It's the ad at the top of the page, under the nav bar that displays 2 links at a time with only text. It's surrounded by a blue border and there's some small text that took me half an hour to see saying: "Ads by Google"
  20. I put Boba on top, he's definitely my favourite - though he's closely fallowed by IG-88
  21. 321 posts! hmmm, sounds like a challenge to me!
  22. Because you can never have too many names for your starships; Star Destroyers (both Rebels/NewRepublic and Empire): http://www.hyperjump.net/swguides/sdguide/sdguide.html Mon Cal cruisers: http://www.hyperjump.net/swguides/mcguide/mcguide.html I think there's enough names there for most people's fleets
  23. Thanks BadSamaritan. From the pic I've got, it definitely looked powerful. I've never been a fan of uglies before - but I think I'll make an exception here Hmm Deathseed - obviously a mix between an X-Wing and TIE, wats a clutch a mix of?
  24. Nine Inch Nails - Underneath It All
