  5. So, saw Repo, and for the most part I liked it. It wasn't perfect, and some of the scene transfers were difficult to follow without knowing about the plot already. But, going in, knowing what to expect kinda helps in liking this movie as I know a few people who i saw it with didn't like it too much. It doesn't take itself seriously really, and jumps right int othe thick of the Opera/singing style story telling without it buidling up for those not use to such movies. But, I'd watch it again and enjoy it.
  6. Well, I was going to send you some Eagle, but the postage was incredibly expensive so I had to give it a miss It's a nicer 35 today. Summer sure has come late for us, not a month ago I was wearng a jumper. What tops it off, is our aircon isn't very effective (barelly cooling half of upstairs let alone any of downstairs), and at night the parents turn it off and open the windows. Last night was about 26-27 inside Hmm, usually? Usually this time of year it's around 30 or so for Melbourne .. which I don't like as well 40 is high, 40 for several days in a row is a heat wave. Apparently it's been over a 100 years since we've had a heat wave like this in Melbourne. Same time last year, Adeliade (capital city of the state next door) had 5 days of 40+ in a row. @Rob: Ah, that's a shame. Still, Aus and NZ have some nice areas in the Winter too - nice snow slopes, mountain ranges etc. Anywho, I'm sure where-ever you go you'll have a great honeymoon
  7. Argh! It's been over 40 degrees (104 F) the last 3 days in a row! make it stop already! Last night barelly dropped bellow 30 (86 F), and when I stepped outside ... I thought it was cold.
  8. This girl I know turned me onto Repo last year, and finally we've got the DVD (no cinema had it) and are gonig to watch it this Sunday! Woo!

  11. TK-421, why aren't you at your post? ... http://www.dieselupload.com/files/646_pvtqc/sc75vo.jpg The quick video (look at the lower bumper as it drives by) Oh, fair enough. Move along.
  12. Happy birthday LLF
  13. Ah, too true Eagle. I think EVERYONE wants him dead. I even swear I saw the animated Padme dancing and singing when she heard he was killed only to cry when he emerged once more to ruin a perfectly good ... almost perfectly good ... kinda good show. At least they redeemed themselves this week with an episode involving the Seperatists rescuing Gunray. I still hate how they're trying for the teen audience so obviously with that annoying little red jedi. She's a kid, a padawan and still able to stand toe to toe with any bad guy Guess it's better than nothing?
  14. Def! Good to see you back here, it's been a while. Good to see some YTMND .. even if I don't get it New creatures
  15. Crayon Physics
  16. Argh, so much for each episode having something worth while. This one is following Padme and .... *shudders* Jar Jar. To put simply, it was a really bad episode. Really bad.
  17. Hard to say these days with the weather being so wacky (for example, the last 3 or so years, NYE has been stinking hot at roughly 40 degrees. This NYE was in the low 20's). But July is in our Winter and is often cold. Not too sure how it goes up North - which is hotter for us with the equator being that way and all. @Tofu: Don't worry, I'll be getting you in our Dream Time ... or some such.
  18. A very big boomer. Stupid guys! Who knews what could have had happened. Ah, Sober is still my favourite Tool song. I think practically all tool clips have some form of claymation little characters like that. The only exception I can think of is Stinkfist (been a while since seeing it) and I don't remember one in Vicarious' clip. @Mad:I haven't bothered to look into it, but judging from the clip it seems to be some gathering where Mexicans smash hammers with explosives onto the ground. Now, for some old time cartoon Wasn't that great?
  19. Mummy I ... I ... I want! I'd be happy as the janitor at that place! Sooo many nice cars, I don't know where to start (ok, I'd go Porsche or Ferrari first ) *** 9 The upcoming movie as well: http://www.apple.com/trailers/focus_features/9/ or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3XfRR0GbF8 ***
  20. Congradulations Rob! I wish you, and the soon to be Mrs. Rob, all the best. May your wedding be graceful and your honeymoon beautiful
  21. Happy New year all. Now I need sleep.
  22. Sorry Eagle, I hadn't seen your email - it managed to slip into a pile of emails I havn't read or looked at for quiet a long time Work has seemed to have a profound affect on eating all my time .
  23. Benny Hill lives on in spirit
  24. Well, I saw this a little while ago - and, to be honest, I kinda liked it. Not all of it, there are plenty of cringe worthy moments - such as the droid's IQ dropping. But over all, I'm tempted to watch it again for a simple, fun Star Wars. All most like reading a comic book. Funny thing is, I'm sitting down and watching another Clone Wars Animated Episode where R2 has gone missing during a battle. Kinda jogged my memory.
  25. Merry Chirstmas all! I hope everyone had a good day filled with presents, giving, happiness and lots of food. Lots and lots and lots of food
