  2. I am a gamer that has becomed a modder, then a mod lead, then community manager, then real game producer and probably soon an EA prducer ... I am sure that this experience will help in makeing a good review of your mod. What I am looking after is this 1. Fun 2. Gameplay 3. Realism 4. Genral Balance 5. Reduced number of bugs. I already downloaded your mod. Nice experiment btw it remainds me of PTESB.

    Demo Out!

    I just need to say - Thanks. Yes ... they have been very hard on it and it always felt like I am fighting a battle for EAW. I always wondered if it will pay off one day. And it did SWR managed to add one of his old members in the EAW game credits (me) and the most important forums for EAW is hosted by the SWR server. This is a forum were we have 8-9 (all leads) developers registered in the open as members. What can I say ... I hope that the SWR members that I admire and like very much will at least like EAW. I invested huge amounts of effort to influence the eaw development and I know many aspects were the PFF feedback make him decide to go for our way or at least close to it. We had two main persons were we supplied weekly our PFF feedback - the lead petro eaw programmer and the lead lec eaw producer. At least I have the satisfaction that Cain has added his name (special thanks area) on a piece of SW history. Still my name will never have been in the EAW's credits without SWR and Evaders, Stratus, JI , Mask , Trej , La-Forge, Stellar , Jahled and all the others. And for that I thank them.   10. Hmmm .... i think i have removed his tractor from the ship but its still listed somewere ...maybe its removed from the capital ship xml but still is in unique units xml .... that should be the issue.

  14. Mystic Gohan in the 6.0 version the VSD spawns TIEs and also the HomeOne spawns x-wings and y-wings. Zaarins ship spawns TIE Prototypes and Tie Bombers. Zaarin ship also fires missile salvos. lt_wentoncha I hope so ... who knows As for the save ... interesting. But I think we should wait for the game. This may be to much work for 12 days before release.
  15. TheSilencer yes I have noticed that. No clue why - maybe it is something in the Boba's stats that enable him to spy better. This requires testing with Boba I wish someone could help me. As for the space stations - that models don't exist or they are in conflict with the existing level 1 used models in 3D - level 2-3-4-5 Imps space stations seem to be missing. I got a lot of crashes and thats why I removed them. If someone could help and make some testing I will be glad to explain how. Stanton Thanks - spreading the news were? lt_wentoncha I remember that I enabled the ISD to be build on all the planets: Originally it was like this: 1 MonCalimari, Kuat, Fondor, Sullust And now its like this: 5 So you could build now ISD's all over the galaxy. As for the save file - were did you see it? The only way I can think of now is to enable save from the same place were I enabled the space retreat. Or we may be missing a file that enables that .... who knows. budious thanks ... Those models don't have textures by them selfs. We got them not tesured in the demo. If you find something with textures that could replace them I will be more than glad to enable them. As for the new infantry abilities - I never got the chance to verify those. If someone wants to help and learn modding I will be more than gald to teach him easy ways to test changes in xmls and mods.

  17. Nope : The issue is that he must have a cap ship around. He will no longer use Piett's ship - maybe because I fixed Piett's double ico bug. Ehhhh ... just make sure you will have an ISD around and Tarkin will be one it. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/Cain2/Ownship.jpg
  18. And for some reason Mon Mothma is on HomeOne with Ackbar. I removed the option of disable reaterat if Tarkin is present. Maybe I will give him an ISD in the next mod.

And I am an old modder and I probably mod eaw to the max continueing to work on adding new factions that were originally desigend for the game Imperial Rebel, Pirates, Hutts, Mon_Calamari, Bothan, Hostile, Ewok, Target, Sarlacc to take a more active role this time. Thos who played my SWR mods or RTW mods know my mod style based on realism/fun/experiments/challenge PS. If you guyes still have download problems - download it as guests.
  22. ;D When someone reports a bug - I feel the impending need to fix it and when I have 4-5 bugs fixed I make another version.
  23. You guys never tried Warlord 6.0? Has Bryan'ts mod a third faction playable? If they enabled space retreat .... I'm interested to see if they mentioned ... Edit: Yes he did in a way .... Anyway I don't think that they can match the my working hours on the mod and they don't have a third faction in SP. I don't think that even Petroglyph has ever had a Warlord inside EAW (even for testing). Only the pirates are enabled but you can't play with them.
