Wrong game, Clone =o) Alliance can only steal tech, using C-3PO, and R-2. Imperials can build a research facility on a planet if they have room for it. Then it's a matter of being able to afford the research.

lol.. so troops is over half a decade old now, not that it takes away at all from how silly it is. Watch the project originally launched by the same people as troops two at: http://impstherelentless.com/tek9.asp IMPS, episode one. Yes, both this and Troops have been linked on this site before, but really, I can't stand not to spread the word on them. =o) Buds.. stop it, you'll catch up to me on the post counts by tomorrow at this rate. =o)

Heh, great site! I play all of the major types of games. (and many of them) -I hate it when people automatically chat at you like you're a kid, a noob to the gaming world alltogether, or both when you first start out learning a new game. Awsome on the accomplishments list thus far, man keep it up!

My expanded rules when you moused-over my game room, or joined where: "You come in, we play, you die.. simple, huh? =o) " no, buds.. the old reb rooms are not back.. sad to say.. You'd think they'd do it if the right person happened to get pointed to this site with his eyelids taped open looking at the 4,000 some number of patrons.. but..*starts to work evil plan* that's the same wistfull thinking we all have with tihs game.. EAW is not bad, off topic. =o)

On starsider I was leveling a master Sworsman, Master Doctor.. Eclipse I had a level 80 Master Bounty Hunter, Force-sensitive and almost master Pilot. I played for just under 7 months before the last game change. =o( I'm seeing more and more old faces daily. =o) At least the potential for a good reb tourny is already present. Got a good response on it.

GL stayed active in a way.. the Galactic Liberators (as still lead by Aries) became a SW Galaxies guild on the Starsider server. The city name was Zoist, and it was on Lok. When the game change took place on Galaxies, those that chose to stay moved over to World of Warcract as the guild Survivors of Zoist on the Darkspear server. I believe? that GL had a stint in a SW game I never owned between Rebellion, and Galaxies but I wouldn't really know as I was in the Army IRL at the time. The vast majority of old reb players seem to be looking forward to EAW, and we may see a large group of old players re-surface. IGA, IST, SR, RS, GSA, DJO, WLF, FST to add to your clan list.. but there where a lot back in the zoning days. =o)

Herb'z, Vader, and IGA_Thrawn as well.. poss. purebane, but he's not played in a long while.. starlight coast i'll talk to tomorrow (a.k.a firebird, or lebarron90) sorry for all the posts, I'm thrilled that ppls are somewhat interested. =o) I'll message a few of the old posters who may not be lurking much these days? such as: BLstu, s_theviking, Marco, Mithil P, grespin, disdira, screed.. anyways, you get the idea.. ppls either from the msn gaming zone, or from the multiplayer list here who aren't missing from planet earth =o)

Not sure on the final number either, but with large numbers of unedited games under my belt, I've had as many as two-thirds of the minor characters as force-users.

Agreed with Evaders on this demo. Not at all impressed and I'm grumpy to boot.. doesn't seem like you can name your ships? I may have missed it or it may be there in the full version. That's one of my fav. parts about games, but that's a minor side grump. =o) The overall gameplay within the demo is very limited, and I'm already planning on buying the full retail version. -Within the confines of this demo, I'm agreed that I see no real opportunity for tactical ability to make any true diff. in the outcome of the game. REALLY hoping the full version blows me away.

My fighters are for when I move the DS over to crush pitiful Rebel fleets within the system. The DS promptly goes back to the safety of it's shields. I would never try this vs. a human player, but the comp. is a push-over. =o)

Huge galaxy, Hard computer, I toyed with it long enough, making it think it won an entire system (I limited it to one system) Had one DS in EVERY System, and 2 additional on my two attack fleets. =o) Day 8,000 something. Additional: Yes, all of them had full Tie-Defenders, NONE of them had troops.. Way too expensive for all of that. In thier respective systems, the center planet held them with a DS Shield. If any rebels showed up in-system, I had only to move my fleet over and say knock it off. =o)

You ppls are no fun at all.. attrition is the best! If the Empire looses thier ability to maintian the gencores/troops, they go away by themselves. =o) Just wipe out the Empire's Maint. with sabotage and by (peacfully if you must) convincing the planets to stop being loyal and go neutral or join your own cause..

I'm going to try this.. =o)
