  1. I took some time and read a lot of the information on the main website, interesting stuff, maybe I'll find you in there, Buds. =o) -Got to hold off for a week or two at least-
  2. Positive thoughts your way, Moff.
  3. 27 Nov 1981
  4. It's C. Montgemery Burns. *freaks out* -ok, I don't really care that much, I stopped watching Simpsons regularly a few years ago. =o)
  5. Much like the story above, some of us that played when the game was first on the MSN Internet Gaming Zone would start out a game with the intention of one massive battle at day 1,000 or so, throw it on fast and split the galaxy up, Rebs on one side Imps on the other. Then it was mostly about how many fighters you could serve up, insane amounts of lag back on 56k modems. =o) Honestly, the longest fights I can recall are using one Carrack Light Cruiser vs. an Alliance Dreadnaught or Bulk Cruiser. As long as you keep a Carrack moving in what was eventually called a "Carrack Dance" by some, you will ever so slowly prevail as the Imperial Admiral. The Carrack's shield recharge just wins out over time as long as it's not getting pounded the whole battle, by moving it in and out of enemy weapons range, you slowly gain an edge. The direct answer to your question, I think the longest I've ever fought a human player in one battle is just under two hours, and the most frustrating thing of all was that right as we came out of combat, we had a Reb.exe error, lol.
  6. http://www.gamespot.com/users/NeoJedi/video_player?id=IXdhkjet5bsMsjTZ is a link that may highlight some of the same work done by these devs. late last year on a project originally known as "Star Wars 2007".
  7. 1. Hit the retreat button. =o) Yes, your ship has to get back to your warp-in point, and have hyperdrive engines still online, you can only choose to retreat your entire fleet, not just a single ship. Any ship on the battlefield w/o warp engines in tact will be scuttled. (and any imperial fighters unable to dock) 2. Turn on your nav points on the tactical display, you can send individual or grouped ships to these locations.
  8. Agreed. I upgraded to the 6200 and saw a vast improvement for a min. investment.
  9. I like that idea, Tex. =o) I found some dude using the same miss-spelling of the word "Psycho" with my SN a few years ago.. some recording artist, but I play too many games for him to catch up to my popularity on the general search engine. =o) And yes that myspace is mine.
  10. The sign about the store hours was in the window of that Starbucks. =o)
  11. Yar, Roswell is run-down, and actually very dull. The "attractions" don't even have that historic look like they where at any time in history a big deal to look at. The "museum" is really sad, although we did take these amusing pics. of the Starbucks on the main street. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/phsycobob/roswell041-1.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/phsycobob/Roswell042.jpg If you where going to be out in that area, White Sands is appealing for some. It's a desert of white sand out in the rest of the desert, kind of a drive but you can find some neat pictures if you walk around out there. Again, depends on if you find stuff like sand appealing. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/phsycobob/whitesands-1.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/phsycobob/whitesands.jpg I lived in El Paso, Texas for the majority of the time I was in the Army, so I got out and explored a lot of the area. =o)
  12. Yup, both. Also had the mission work out ofc.
  13. Jabba's Palace Death Star Sabotage
  14. I'll write in my vote for Arnold over Hillary. -Maybe. She may act better than him tbh.
  15. If you're going to be near Western Texas, Carlsbad Caverns really is worth seeing, but don't; do not bother with Roswell.. please spare yourself.
  16. My favorite way is via diplomacy.. takes some time, but so very rewarding. =o)
  17. You scored: 10 / 20 Total points: 100 The average score for this quiz: 9 / 20 Not a single easy one, mostly guesses.
  18. Back in the good 'ol days of Quake Beta,(circa 1996) I had to come up with a nice SN for hurting stuffs. At that time in my young life I watched a lot of The Simpsons, and so went with my favorite character, Sideshow Bob. To be a bit more original I went with Psycho Bob, but later on when I got onto the real internet(Post SWR - 1998) I found that it was usually taken. I moved the "H". That's all I had to do to ensure that I pretty much never ran into another with the SN again.
  19. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's guys! I'll be watching cartoons, playing on the computer, and otherwise enjoying life. =o)
  20. good stuff.
  21. lol that's awsome!
  22. I was born in Colorado and have seen some of the ovens they used to cook coke in, but I was born in '81 and have only seen them as a historical sight.
  23. Although I liked the idea of barging in on Trej, I'd say Amsterdam.. but that also goes into the category of places where not much would get done.. I'm near Seattle, and say don't come here this time of year.. summer's not bad though. -And lots to do here.
