  1. -2 I thought it was very close to the spice "orgy" in Dune. They knew that some of them were about to die, so they put up a giant party to celebrate the here and now. Keeps up morale
  2. -3 Umm, look at the movie list in the members forum, basically everything there that includes dialogue. Also we need voice talents for the advisors (MonCal and Imp officer). I practiced the Ackbar voice a bit, so I could do the MonCal, if nobody else wants to do it.
  3. Ah, that nice list again I think Stratus or Stormfront posted it once. I knew the joke from Desperado already, but it was a bit shorter there. Ok, here's another philosophical classic (slightly modified ): If you were sitting on a tree eating grubs, farted and nobody would've heard it: would it still smell ? Think about it
  4. You're right, now I am

-7 It's weird, that we don't seem to be able to get a "complete" and correct map of the SW galaxy anywhere
  6. Forget the EDATA folder The tactical.dll is in the main Rebellion folder, along with the Rebexe.exe. The model importer program should be in a new folder in that main folder (the name can be anything you like). The ini file, if present, should have these settings location=..\tactical.dll saveas=..\tactical.dll , if you installed it this way. One ..\ means 'one directory up'. If you do it this way, then the only tactical.dll that should be in your game folder will be updated with the new models, textures, ... and should be visible in the game.

-10 Well, I didn't have the map with my at the uni, so I settled with what the entries in the CUSWE said.
  8. Seeing all the people happy with what I've done keeps me going on Ps: the next one will come soon
  9. -13 Right, as I just explained in the last post I found from you, concerning the problems with the model importer program The .bin files are included, if the model (.x) has textures.
  10. Wicket Ackbar Old Ben Young Ben Leia Now that should make me an inventive, reliable, sympathetic and calm hermit. Gulp .... Jeeez, that thing is right -14

Qat Chrystac - Sumitra Sector Algarian - not sure about this one Palanhi - ........... -"- Khuiumin - Khuiumin System Churba - Churba Sector (just put it where you've put New Cov ) Generis - Atrivis Sector Linuri - Sumitra Sector
  12. Well as long as you know what JK3 is, I wouldn't disturbed about that Basically its just a greek rant about how buggy the drivers of ATI cards can be
  13. Well, both attempts were done the right way, but: the tactical.dll needs to be in the Rebellion folder for the replaced models to be shown. If you can't see dlls in your Windows explorer, try opening up its settings and turn off the option that hides "critical and system files". That should show you a whole lot of files more Edit: as you can see in the script, the ini file for the model importer program was not in the same folder as the program, so it used the standard settings (which worked nevertheless in your case). Also the replacement was successful, as you can see in the "Commands completed" line.

    Gladiator

Sorry, but the one time I saw it was probably even longer ago than when you did. I just remember some barechested guys and one particular (Spartacus himself ?) runnig forever to deliver a message. I think the message was of an imminent attack by the Trojans, but I could be wrong. He should have used his mobile, would've been a lot faster
  15. They probably taste like chicken Ever wondered why everything tastes like chicken ? Maybe they didn't really know what chicken tasted like and ... getting paranoid again
  16. Well, how the blaster got on your pc is easy: you either don't use a firewall, or haven't configured it to block that port, that is attacked by the blaster worm. Look at symantec's page, there is a reference to that virus and what port you have to close down.
  17. Well, when I was looking on my Behind the magic cds for usable planet pics for the TC, I found that description for the jungle scenes on Yavin IV.
  18. To be honest, my first translation was faulty. Just in case, I also let google translate it for me and saw, that it had been indeed a while and that I didn't remember everything taught to me in the french lessons

Korriban ? Hmmm, that gives me an idea ... Priceless idea, Trej
  20. Also the final battle event (confront Emperor & Vader) runs according to this rule: If Luke is below knight level, he'll lose and be imprisoned. If not he'll escape, get the force bonus and maybe a new hand
  21. Should I mail you one ?
  22. Umm, it's been a while, but I think it means : It's nothing, it's for free. Right, Scath ?
  23. Yavin IV was really not that far away. Those scenes were shot in the Tikal National Park in Guatemala. Well, at least on the map it's not that far away
  24. Hey Wormie, how's your beaver and the iglu ? Indeed, you were gone a long time, before you reappeared.
  25. I heard that the mission had a bug before, but I could complete it without and with the 2.02 update, weird. Anyways, if you simply can't beat a mission in XWA and have already used your 'skip this mission' slots, then you can simply tell the game to run another mission. How ? Editing of course In the MISSIONS folder you'll notice a Missions.lst file. It's a text file, so open it up with your editor. Now you'll have to find your mission, I mostly look for the name that was also in the briefing. The strucure looks something like this: Description Mission number filename.tie .... Now, if you delete the parts from the mission-entry as much as there will be the filename.tie from the next mission under the mission number from your current, the game will use this one instead. Hint: you don't have to do this too often. I could beat every mission without editing the mission itself or skipping it
