  1. That's HUGE!!! How could you eat all that, and wouldn't you want chips with it or something? I'll stick with a nice rhubarb crumble thanks.
  2. That would be cool, make one of the options to ram. I love XWA, especially the little battle i wrote for it... Igor: E-wings wouldn't have been in it due to the timeline, but if yoiu want i could write a Thrawn campaign for you, where the main character gets to flight test the new E-wings...? As for multiple game types, we're headed that way in the industry at the moment, just look at Galaxies, with the space sim add on that they have planned. Give it five years, and you'll have your 'immersive universe'. Tom Clancy's Netforce Explorers is not as far away as we might think in many ways......
  3. Yeah, we could do with a new movie, would the Alliance really have no turbolasers on their headquarters?
  4. About the SSD thing, the Mc90 can match an SSD. The Mon Remonda had strong enough shield to give an SSD a good licking, and with a trio of standard Mc80a's they could take an SSD. The problem is, ship the size of an SSD or Mc90 just don't blow up, they're too big to vaporize with any sort of explosion.
  5. Cool, what stats did you end up with for the ISD I then?
  6. I'd go with Tsunami on this one. The T65C was a two seat trainer, so i'd say the T65XJ, maybe XJ3, the XJ3 would be able to match a Defender in the hands of capable pilot...maybe?
  7. Well, i guess we need to decide if we want definite Jedi as minor characters, and if so, do we want to balence out numbers and ability on each side?
  8. In which case, assuming you want the Dark Trooper to be the strongest Imp unit, you want Phase III
  9. Ah, the age old Dark Trooper question. I'd go with Stage I and II, and probably III. If i remember, I was basically a Stormie with slightly different looking armour and some sort of backpack and a better blaster. II was a much heavier Stormie with a basic exoskeleton that supported more weapons, ended up looking like a Stormtrooper come Terminator. III was supposed to be about 8feet tall, very heavy, looked like something out of Warhammer 40k, jetpack, rocket launcher, laser cannon, the whoole kaboodle.
  10. Interesting, yeah, cos Vics are supposed to be able to enter the atmosphere, but nothing larger according to the sources i've heard.
  11. Don't forget Scotland! I may live near London, but i'm a Scot through and through!!!
  12. No, have to try looking for that one.
  13. Pics from films are generally not a good idea, authorities, when backed by a multi billion pound industry tend to frown on copyright infringement.
  14. Lucas says he's written I, II, III, IV, V, VI and that's it. If he makes VII, VIII and IX he will write new plots for them. He did not write any of the books, although he 'approved' them, which basically means he said "yes you can write about that in my creation that is the Star Wars universe."
  15. But, please, remember, they are only rumours, and YOU DIDN'T HEAR THEM FROM ME!!!!!!!
  16. Okay, did some research last night. Allegiance was the name of a SUper class Star Destroyer that was at Mon Calamari, it was the communnications ship for the fleet of World Devastators. It was taken out by only TWO Rebel ISD I's. It appears as an entry in Sansweets encyclopaedia. A picture of it may be found in the Dark Empire graphic novel. The picture show the rear half. It appears to be an ISD II on a larger scale, and the superstructure leading up to the bridge tower appears to be more massive and irregular than on a production ISD II.
  17. Ah, if you wait you shall recieve the best tc yet, those you have seen so far were just a taste of what is to come, now that we have models, with textures, maybe....
  18. Oho it's going to be good!!! So tell me, do you just swap 5010 and 5020?

    Shiplist

I'm sorry Gank but you're wrong, I checked all my source books last night. Sansweet's encyclopaedia, the Star Wars technical journal, the Guide to ships and vehicles, and Dark Empire, all list an SSD as being 8000m long, = 8 kilometers = 5miles. An ISD is 1600m long = 1.6kilometers = 1 mile = 5x smaller than an SSD An Mc80a can match an ISD, it is slightly smaller, but has more concentrated weapons, and more shield, so it can last for longer. An Mc80b, like the Mon Remonda, was able to give an SSD a run for its money when it had an Mc80a and a couple of smaller ships with it. Therefore, an Mc90 must be at least a match for an SSD.
  20. What is the CUSWE? Yeah, i checked last night, the Allegiance was a Super class, looked like a normal ISD II, but the same size as the Executer, and the Superstructure looks more bulked out.
  21. Well, Wayland would start with 15 training facilities for the cloning vats. Apart from that i don't know, maybe give advanced construction yards to one team and advanced shipyards to the other?
  22. I don't think so, i'm not sure how you could get it to show up in tactical.
  23. Okay, gonna answer my own question, because as soon as i wrote it i though, well duh!!! The Imps need a clone unit, obviously, so cloned Stormies or something, increase everything apart from bombardment defence to reflect their superior thinking and bravery. The Rebs should get Lando's war droids, i know they don't come until much later, but look at what we're wanting to do with ships. Troops will develop over time too, especially if there's a need for them. Droid troopers would be mean sonsabitches, probably better than Dark Troopers, equal to clone troopers probably.
  24. Well, what else COULD we have? I can't really think of many other units, and they were fairly well balenced in the game.
  25. Sounds good to me, i could even give you a good argument as to why you're right to keep the Noghri with the Imps. - Cloning, C'Baoth or Thrawn only had to clone a few that would remain loyal to him. And the Rebels never really used them in whole units, some were personal bodyguards for Organa-Solo, but most just stayed on Noghri.
