Who were the Mandalorians, then? with regard to what you've posted, SOCL, it's rather strange that no reference is made to the Mandalorian war in the prequels, isn't it... unless Episode III is about the Mandalorian war... Edited by Scathane

...according to the ESB book regarding Boba Fett:

..A human bounty hunter, Fett was known for his extremely ruthless methods. He was dressed in a weapon covered, armoured spacesuit, the kind worn by a group of evil warriours defeated by the Jedi Knights during the Clone Wars. A few braided scalps completed his unsavory image. The very sight of Boba Fett sent a shudder of revulsion through the admiral.

There were rumors before TPM that they would show up on Tattoine and kill Anakin's mother.

I'm kinda hoping they show up in Episode III.

The Mandalorians ("those evil warriors") were wiped out by the Jedi during the Clone Wars, eh? Who did we have sitting around the table with Dooku in Episode II?

I assume you're making a reference to Jango Fett(?). Are you suggesting that perhaps he was a representative for the Mandolorians in the Separatists? If you are, it's good theory. If not . . . what did you mean?

That info SOCL cited, was before TPm and the prequels were made.

The Mandalorians Army was native to the planet Mandalore (Doh!), and they were defeated by the Jedi prior to the blockade of Naboo, Jango Fett is not associated in any way to this army, he only recovered the armor for his personal use.

In the first drafts of the prequels the clonetrooper, tentatively called shocktrooper, would wear fett's armor.

And if any of you need evidence of this, and the complete mess of George Lucas's mind, have a look at the complete guide to star wars action figures, or what ever it's called, where you'll see Boba Fett's original helmet was as white as a Stormtroopers (and not pre-final production!), also seen in some of the preproduction paintings, in The Star Wars Archives. :!:

Well, I'm glad that he skipped some ideas.

Otherwise Obi Wan would have accompanied a General Starkiller in EPIV and the stormtroopers would have used lightsabers as a kind of 'police club', in that light some changes aren't that bad

Now I know what to blow up first... well second... mon mothma is first...

Yes, that were the first drafts for Star Wars at all, the ones I cited were drafts for the prquels. I even found a supposed draft for Ep III.

Those first drafts were funny, Anakin Starkiller, GEneral Skywalker, the Planet Aqualae, the Jedi-Bendu. Vader, as a normal man, and Tarkin.

What's with the anti-Mon Mothma thing?

I found one as well a VERY long time ago. I found it on the Internet right after TPM came out. Here's a link to it: http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Set/5760/fallofr.txt I doubt it's real (maybe it once was), but it gives us a tentaive title for Episode III (even though its time of writing is quite old). I sent it to TheForce.Net a LONG time ago, but they have NEVER EVER answered ANY of my e-mails so fook them!
