  1. http://www.screenselect.co.uk/images/products/screenshots/7/60257-5-large.jpg Help Captain Typho (not to be confused with Tycho of the Naboo Security Forces), an Imperial double agent for the rebellion, escape capture on Dantooine. http://membres.lycos.fr/gcubeworld/test/star%20wars/starwars1.jpg Kothlis Space: stop the SD from capturing the Razor, a Correllian Corvette, by destroying the SD. You Destroy it, but the Razor is already captured. The SD falls through the atmosphere. Land: Escort Rebel commandos to the crashed SD to retrieve important data; escort the gallifrees to the landing site, take out a couple of walkers in Speeders, bomb the SD's hull open, and fight off a small company of AT-PTs.
  2. http://www.gamersmark.com/reviews/images/10671125712.jpg Geonosis Level (yes, those are battle droids and a Gunship in the back. you play as Wedge) http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2003/gc/rebelstrike/1020/rebel_screen006.jpg Fondor level (destroy the cloaking devices to destroy the SSD while in a TIE Hunter)
  3. http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/explore/sithsnap/2006/06/img/20060601.jpg That was in SWGB: Clone Campaigns! It was the Confederate Heavy Artillary unit. I thought the Snail Droid was the tank droid... For IA2, Perhaps?
  4. And for those who can't get it for a while, they can just use the mod I posted a link to to make it at least invisible to radar.
  5. It was made by VOR-D09; a malfunctioned battledroid that works independently thanks to a glitch in his experimental programming (attempt by the Trade Federation to produce a droid that fought independently; became too independent, and became a bounty hunter after the clone wars). He acquired the TIE Phantom as a term of payment by Admiral Sarn during the early stages of the Phantom TIE project. He personally modified it, focusing on functionality more than aesthetics, the canisters both added missile payload capabilities and space for incapacitated bounties. It's not actually purple; that was a rough concept "sketch" of the ship; I didn't remember what color it was at the time. Just don't make it purple. I don't have the demo either... thanks! let me know when if you start to work on it.
  6. Could someone combine this; http://www.gamed.nl/messages/32095.jpg and this; http://www.thenextfuture.nl/users/alexander/Empire%20at%20War/Review/tiebomber.jpg to create this? http://www.imperialassault.com/rote/forums/uploads/post-22-1156556342.jpg The ship is the Hacker's Glory; a modified TIE Phantom used by a droid bounty hunter I made up. I just need someone to attatch the 2 TIE bomber missile canisters to the TIE Phantom Model in FoC.
  7. you have to set a certain color to be discarded, I think. (sort of like green screen special effects. If you need any help with icons in the future, I can make some Icons for you.
  8. Unfortunately, most modelers are busy with mods right now (AoSW, IA2, LoW, etc.). I could help with code and perhaps skins, but i don't have modeling software. My advice is to wait on modeling until a couple of the other mods are released; that will free up some modelers. And there's a model request thread in this forum.
  9. *Sigh* It's not a matter of Software. I happen to have one of the best graphics cards on the market, but my PC still Reboots within 15 minutes. The stupid CD (DVD, whatever) runs the CPU way too hot! (I also happen to have a high speed processor.) SOME OF US can't afford a new computer or graphics card every year. I play a game to have fun; I reserve high rez for screenies and movies (on EaW). To be quite frank, in some aspects of the game, SWGB kicks the Bantha Fodder out of EaW. SWGB was very simple to mod; no stupid text files that cause exceptions, and very low core temp for your PC. With SWGB Heaven's Mod Installer, people were adding Episode III units to the game with ease. And you didn't need an expensive modeling program to add graphics, either; just paint or photoshop. And it's map editor was easy to use and Bug free. You could even add cuscenes made with a video camera! You could change what units each player makes via a triggered event from a list. Don't like the uncanon units? restrict your player from building them via map editor. You could garrison units inside transports and deploy them behind enemy lines. And you could mix eras; clones vs stormtroopers, droids vs rebels. they had 8 factions; while EaW has 2 (and FoC 3) : Royal Naboo, Republic, Empire, Rebel, Gungan, Wookie, Confederacy, Trade Federation. and tons of wildlife. Now, naturally, it had its gameplay faults. No hardpoints, and asteroids were a bit of an eyesore. Droids collecting carbon from trees. ships sort of hovered in one place, infantry and vehicles stood still to shoot, cruiser shot one fat blast instead of a lot of little ones. Point being, graphics don't make the world go 'round. There's a fine line between "convincing" and "overkill". SWGB had great 2D sprites that worked just fine. well said. it shouldn't be only high or low rez; it should be an option for graphics detail. If Dragonshadow wants to burn out his PC fan that's his business; others should have a lower rez option. Now; If the interdictor was converted to MAX, then it could be edited, it can't be too hard to modify them if you know how to use the program. a couple of idividuals over at IA2 modified some ship models to make cool and interesting ships. If I had a modeling program I would have been glad to help.
  10. Personally, I've never touched the size value; I just use Scale Factor Every time and it works perfectly.
  11. http://empireatwar.filefront.com/file/Model_Pack_Sources;71108x#1039450 Keeper_of_Faith's Model pack Unfortunately, they're all MAX files. Includes: AAT ARC-170 Battle Droid CC7700* Dreadnought Droideka** ETA-2 Lucrehulk MC40 MC80b Munificent Providence Raven's Claw Strike Cruiser Super Battle Droid Tri-Fighter Vulture Droid *Rebel interdictor **I'm assuming Mark I?
  12. Are you referring to Keepers? http://empireatwar.filefront.com/file/Battle_Droids_v03;68110
  13. The Repulsorlift jammer is a EaW reject; It was in the Demo, I know because BV&C's demo mod unlocked it. apparently, they brought it back. It's description said that it made repulsors stop working, but I assumed it was always active (like Jabiim; you can't even deploy repulsor vehicles) And it's no big deal with the DSII; You can just apply EaW's Death Star model to it if you want the whole one.
  14. It's even funnier when you realize that the graphics actually look better in some older games (ESP. Rebel Strike vs. Battlefront II) I can help (research wise) if you plan to add Rogue Squadron III maps
  15. When I first heard of EaW, I thought Indigeonous units would be recruitable. That would be a huge plus. Naboo: Flash Speeders Gian Speeders N1s NB1s Gungan trooper NSF trooper Bravo Squadron (hero unit) that sort of thing. I really need to put up a link to steiner's mods here somewhere; they've got CorSec ships, Hapan battle Cruisers, etc....
  16. I downloaded the files, but there are no .dds (skin) files in the folder. Other than that, good job!
  17. Thanks! This will work great for the Havoc too!
  18. Their wookies are disproportional, as well.
  19. What do the stars under my username mean?
  20. I know! I mean, how are 4 Heavy turrets 1 hardpoint that fires projectiles from only one point? It'd be cooler if it was like Rebel Strike; each Turbolaser could be individually destroyed. conflict: In rebel strike, SD has 4 ion cannons on each side, elsewhere, SD has 3 Heavy Turbolasers and 1 ion cannon on each side.
  21. One name per line. these files can be found in the "data" folder. It would seem that "moniker" refers to these text files. BTW; if you edit the text file above, you change what name your star destroyers have. If you want one to show up more often, just enter the same name multiple times; this method may result in multiple ships of the same name. you may also remove unwanted names and add new ones. For Example;
  22. I have an Underwater map tutorial thread here at PFF. http://pff.swrebellion.com/index.php?topic=3600.0
  23. Is it just me, or does the strike-class look like a turd? Which books did that ship appear in?
